This SDTGS uses a new shifted dual transmission grating (SDTG) as its dispersive component, which has two sub transmission gratings with different line densities, of 2000 lines/mm and 5000 lines/mm. The axes of the two sub transmission gratings in SDTG are horizontally and vertically shifted a certain distance to measure a broad range of 0.1-5 keV time-resolved X-ray spectra. The SDTG has been calibrated with a soft X-ray beam of the synchrotron radiation facility and its diffraction efficiency is also measured. The designed SDTGS can take full use of the space on a record panel and improve the precision for measuring spatial and temporal spectrum simultaneously. It will be a promising application for accurate diagnosis of the soft X-ray spectrum in inertial confinement fusion.展开更多

Highly-ionized H-and He-like Mg, Si and S lines, as well as a resolved low-ionized Si Kα line, are detected in the high resolution spectrum. The He-like triplets of Mg and Si are resolved into individual lines, and the calculated R ratios indicate a high density for the emitter. The low values of G ratios indicate the lines originate from collisionally ionized plasmas. However, the detection of a resolved narrow Ne X radiative recombination continua(RRC) feature in the spectrum seems to prefer a photoionized environment. The spectrum is subsequently modeled with a photoionization model, and the results are compared with those of a collisional model. Through a detailed analysis of the spectrum, we exclude a collisional origin for these emission lines. A one-component photoionization model provides a great fit to the emission features. The best-fit parameters are log ξ = 3.3^+0.4-0.3 erg cm s^-1, n H = 5^+15 -4.5× 10^10 cm^-3 and NH = 2.5^+3.8 -1.7× 10^20 cm^-2.According to the calculated high density for the emitter, the measured velocity widths of the emission lines and the inferred radial distance(6 × 10^14-8 × 10^15 cm), we suggest the emission lines originating from matter are located in the broad line region(BLR).展开更多

Using data from Suzaku and INTEGRAL, we study the soft and hard X-ray spectra of four AXPs/SGRs: 1RXS J 170849-400910, 1E 1547.0- 5408, SGR 1806-20 and SGR 0501+4516. It is found that the spectra could be well reproduced by the bulk-motion Comptonization (BMC) process as was first suggested by Triimper et al., showing that the accretion scenario could be compatible with X- ray emission from AXPs/SGRs. Simulated results from the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope using the BMC model show that the spectra would have discrepancies from the power-law, especially the cutoff at -200 keV. Thus future observations will allow researchers to distinguish different models of the hard X-ray emission and will help us understand the nature of AXPs/SGRs.展开更多

The proposed method, Dynamic Threshold-Based Routing and Spectrum Allocation with Fragmentation Awareness (DT-RSAF), integrates rerouting and spectrum defragmentation as needed. By leveraging Yen’s shortest path algorithm, DT-RSAF enhances resource utilization while ensuring improved service continuity. A dynamic threshold mechanism enables the algorithm to adapt to varying network conditions, while its fragmentation awareness effectively mitigates spectrum fragmentation. Simulation results on NSFNET and COST 239 topologies demonstrate that DT-RSAF significantly outperforms methods such as K-Shortest Path Routing and Spectrum Allocation (KSP-RSA), Load Balanced and Fragmentation-Aware (LBFA), and the Invasive Weed Optimization-based RSA (IWO-RSA). Under heavy traffic, DT-RSAF reduces the blocking probability by up to 15% and achieves lower Bandwidth Fragmentation Ratios (BFR), ranging from 74% to 75%, compared to 77% - 80% for KSP-RSA, 75% - 77% for LBFA, and approximately 76% for IWO-RSA. DT-RSAF also demonstrated reasonable computation times compared to KSP-RSA, LBFA, and IWO-RSA. On a small-sized network, its computation time was 8710 times faster than that of Integer Linear Programming (ILP) on the same network topology. Additionally, it achieved a similar execution time to LBFA and outperformed IWO-RSA in terms of efficiency. These results highlight DT-RSAF’s capability to maintain large contiguous frequency blocks, making it highly effective for accommodating high-bandwidth requests in EONs while maintaining reasonable execution times.展开更多

This study aims to analyze the microbial spectrum and antibiotic sensitivity of patients with postoperative infections in trauma surgery, providing a basis for clinical treatment and optimizing antibiotic usage strategies in this context. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on patients with traumatic infections who were hospitalized in the departments of spine surgery, upper limb surgery, and lower limb surgery from January 2022 to December 2024. Bacterial culture-positive specimens were analyzed for bacterial species and antibiotic sensitivity. Results: A total of 804 traumatic infection specimens were submitted for testing, including 538 male patients (ages 2 - 95 years) and 266 female patients (ages 4 - 94 years). Among these, 267 cases showed positive culture results, with 172 males (ages 2 - 93 years) and 95 females (ages 4 - 94 years). A total of 153 strains of Gram-negative (G−) bacteria and 114 strains of Gram-positive (G+) bacteria were identified. Among G− bacteria, Escherichia coli was the most frequently isolated (40 strains), followed by Pseudomonas aeruginosa (28 strains) and Enterobacter cloacae (28 strains). Among G+ bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus was the most prevalent (75 strains), followed by Enterococcus faecalis (15 strains) and Streptococcus pyogenes (8 strains). Antibiotic sensitivity testing revealed that the resistance rate of Staphylococcus aureus to penicillin was as high as 93.33%, while the resistance rate of Escherichia coli to trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole was 57.5%. Conclusion: The main pathogens responsible for postoperative infections in traumatology are Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, with significant antibiotic resistance. In clinical treatment, antibiotics should be selected rationally based on bacterial spectrum and resistance patterns to improve treatment efficacy.展开更多

文摘A new time-resolved shifted dual transmission grating spectrometer (SDTGS) is designed and fabricated in this work. It will be a promising application for accurate diagnosis of the soft X-ray spectrum in inertial confinement fusion.
文摘We present a detailed analysis of the soft X-ray emission of 3 C 445 using an archival Chandra High Energy Transmission Grating(HETG) spectrum. The best-fit parameters are log ξ = 3.3^+0.4-0.3 erg cm s^-1, n H = 5^+15 -4.5× 10^10 cm^-3 and NH = 2.5^+3.8 -1.7× 10^20 cm^-2.According to the calculated high density for the emitter, the measured velocity widths of the emission lines and the inferred radial distance(6 × 10^14-8 × 10^15 cm), we suggest the emission lines originating from matter are located in the broad line region(BLR).

文摘Hard X-rays above 10 keV are detected from several anomalous X-ray pul- sars (AXPs) and soft gamma-ray repeaters (SGRs), and different models have been proposed to explain the physical origin within the frame of either a magnetar model or a fallback disk system. Thus future observations will allow researchers to distinguish different models of the hard X-ray emission and will help us understand the nature of AXPs/SGRs.

文摘X-ray sources with tunable energy spectra have a wide range of applications in different scenarios due to their different penetration depths. However, existing x-ray sources face difficulties in terms of energy regulation. In this paper,we present a scheme for tuning the energy spectrum of a betatron x-ray generated from a relativistic electron bunch oscillating in a plasma wakefield. The center energy of the x-ray source can be tuned from several keV to several hundred keV by changing the plasma density, thereby extending the control range by an order of magnitude. At different central energies, the brightness of the betatron radiation is in the range of 3.7×10^(22)to 5.5×10^(22)photons/(0.1%BW·s·mm^(2)·mrad^(2))and the photon divergence angle is about 2 mrad. This high-brightness,energy-controlled betatron source could pave the way to a wide range of applications requiring photons of specific energy, such as phase-contrast imaging in medicine,non-destructive testing and material analysis in industry, and imaging in nuclear physics.

文摘High-temperature microwave absorbing materials(MAMs)and structures are increasingly appealing due to their critical role in stealth applications under harsh environments. However, the impedance mismatch caused by increased conduction loss often leads to a significant decline in electromagnetic wave absorp-tion(EMWA)performance at elevated temperatures, which severely restricts their practical application. In this study,we propose a novel approach for efficient electromagnetic wave absorption across a wide temperature range using reduced graphene oxide(RGO)/epoxy resin(EP)metacomposites that integrate both electromagnetic parameters and metamaterial design concepts.Due to the discrete distribution of the units, electromagnetic waves can more easily penetrate the interior of materials, thereby exhibiting stable microwave absorption(MA)performance and impedance-matching characteristics suitable across a wide temperature range.Consequently, exceptional MA properties can be achieved within the tem-perature range from 298 to 473 K.Furthermore,by carefully controlling the structural parameters in RGO metacomposites, both the resonant frequency and effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)can be optimized based on precise manipulation of equivalent electromagnetic parameters. This study not only provides an effective approach for the rational design of MA performance but also offers novel insights into achieving super metamaterials with outstanding performance across a wide temperature spectrum.

文摘Indirect X-ray modulation imaging has been adopted in a number of solar missions and provided reconstructed X-ray images of solar flares that are of great scientific importance. However, the assessment of the image quality of the reconstruction is still difficult, which is particularly useful for scheme design of X-ray imaging systems, testing and improvement of imaging algorithms, and scientific research of X-ray sources.Currently, there is no specified method to quantitatively evaluate the quality of X-ray image reconstruction and the point-spread function(PSF)of an X-ray imager. In this paper,we propose percentage proximity degree(PPD)by considering the imaging characteristics of X-ray image reconstruction and in particular, sidelobes and their effects on imaging quality. After testing a variety of imaging quality assessments in six aspects,we utilized the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution to the indices that meet the requirements. Then we develop the final quality index for X-ray image reconstruction,QuIX,which consists of the selected indices and the new PPD.QuIX performs well in a series of tests, including assessment of instrument PSF and simulation tests under different grid configurations,as well as imaging tests with RHESSI data.It is also a useful tool for testing of imaging algorithms, and determination of imaging parameters for both RHESSI and ASO-S/Hard X-ray Imager, such as field of view, beam width factor, and detector selection.

文摘Imaging observations of solar X-ray bursts can reveal details of the energy release process and particle acceleration in flares. Most hard X-ray imagers make use of the modulation-based Fourier transform imaging method,an indirect imaging technique that requires algorithms to reconstruct and optimize images.During the last decade,a variety of algorithms have been developed and improved. However,it is difficult to quantitatively evaluate the image quality of different solutions without a true, reference image of observation. How to choose the values of imaging parameters for these algorithms to get the best performance is also an open question. In this study,we present a detailed test of the characteristics of these algorithms, imaging dynamic range and a crucial parameter for the CLEAN method, clean beam width factor(CBWF).We first used SDO/AIA EUV images to compute DEM maps and calculate thermal X-ray maps. Then these realistic sources and several types of simulated sources are used as the ground truth in the imaging simulations for both RHESSI and ASO-S/HXI.The different solutions are evaluated quantitatively by a number of means. The overall results suggest that EM,PIXON,and CLEAN are exceptional methods for sidelobe elimination, producing images with clear source details.Although MEM_GE,MEM_NJIT,VIS_WV and VIS_CS possess fast imaging processes and generate good images, they too possess associated imperfections unique to each method. The two forward fit algorithms,VF and FF,perform differently, and VF appears to be more robust and useful. We also demonstrated the imaging capability of HXI and available HXI algorithms.Furthermore, the effect of CBWF on image quality was investigated, and the optimal settings for both RHESSI and HXI were proposed.
文摘BACKGROUND In pediatric age group patients(<18 years old)treated operatively for distal radius/both bone fractures extending imaging beyond the initial postoperative period-particularly in uncomplicated cases-appears to provide limited additional benefit.AIM To determine the necessary number of follow-up X-rays to use resources efficiently.METHODS Participants included in this study are pediatric age group patients who were treated operatively for distal radius/both bone fractures and were identified from a prospected collected data from the operating room database between the years 2009 and 2017.The data in the study included patients who had distal radius fractures and underwent fixation surgery(n=88).RESULTS When assessing the difference in the odds of conducting 1 or less X-ray compared to 2 or more X-rays in regard to the type of fixation, the only significant difference is the closed reduction fixation method.Patients who underwent closed reduction method procedure have significantly lower odds of having 2 more X-rays compared to those who didn’t have closed reduction method.Open reduction, internal fixation, and other fixation methods(close reduction and internal fixation, debridement,or epiphysiodesis)have higher odds of having two or more X-rays compared to patients who did not receive these methods;however, these odds are not statistically significant.CONCLUSION The findings of this study reveal notable absence of a statistically significant association between the frequency of postoperative X-rays and the outcome of children with distal radius fractures.
文摘Using the new soft X-ray data from the Macao Science Satellite-1,we studied a solar flare that occurred on 22 June 2023.We found that the centroids of the Ca(around 3.9 keV)and Fe(around 6.7 keV)line features exhibit a rapid shift toward higher energy channels during the flare's rising phase, followed by a gradual decrease during the decay phase.Through precise energy calibration, the centroids are determined with high accuracy.Temperature and velocity are then self-consistently derived by comparing the centroids with those calculated from the synthesized line features using the latest CHIANTI atomic database(ver.10.1).The calculated maximum velocity reaches up to 710±60 km s-1,which significantly exceeds the previously reported values. Our results suggest that the entire shift of soft X-ray lines may occur during the process of chromospheric evaporation.

文摘During the continuous casting process of high-Mn high-Al steels, various types of gases such as Ar need to escape through the top of the mold.In which, the behavior of bubbles traversing the liquid slag serves as a restrictive link, closely associated with viscosity and the thickness of liquid slag.In contrast to two-dimensional surface observation,three-dimensional(3D)analysis method can offer a more intuitive, accurate, and comprehensive information. Therefore, this study employs a 3D X-ray microscope(3D-XRM)to obtained spatial distribution and 3D morphological characteristics of residual bubbles in mold flux under different basicity of liquid slag, different temperatures, and different holding times. The results indicate that as basicity of slag increases from 0.52 to 1.03,temperature increases from 1423 to 1573 K,the viscosity of slag decreases, the floating rate of bubbles increases. In addition, when holding time increases from 10 to 30 s,the bubbles floating distance increases, and the volume fraction and average equivalent sphere diameter of the bubbles solidified in the mold flux gradually decreases. In one word, increasing the basicity, temperature, and holding time leading to an increase in the removal rate of bubbles especially for the large. These findings of bubbles escape behavior provide valuable insights into optimizing low basicity mold flux for high-Mn high-Al steels.
文摘Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders are neuroinflammatory demyelinating disorders that lead to permanent visual loss and motor dysfunction. To date,no effective treatment exists as the exact causative mechanism remains unknown. Therefore, experimental models of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders are essential for exploring its pathogenesis and in screening for therapeutic targets.Since most patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders are seropositive for IgG autoantibodies against aquaporin-4,which is highly expressed on the membrane of astrocyte endfeet, most current experimental models are based on aquaporin-4-IgG that initially targets astrocytes. These experimental models have successfully simulated many pathological features of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders, such as aquaporin-4 loss, astrocytopathy, granulocyte and macrophage infiltration, complement activation, demyelination, and neuronal loss;however, they do not fully capture the pathological process of human neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders. In this review,we summarize the currently known pathogenic mechanisms and the development of associated experimental models in vitro,ex vivo, and in vivo for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders, suggest potential pathogenic mechanisms for further investigation, and provide guidance on experimental model choices. In addition, this review summarizes the latest information on pathologies and therapies for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders based on experimental models of aquaporin-4-IgG-seropositive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders, offering further therapeutic targets and a theoretical basis for clinical trials.

文摘X-ray detectors show potential applications in medical imaging, materials science, and nuclear energy. To achieve high detection efficiency and spatial resolution, many conventional semiconductor materials, such as amorphous selenium, cadmium telluride zinc, and perovskites, have been utilized in direct conversion X-ray detectors. However, these semiconductor materials are susceptible to temperature-induced performance degradation, crystallization, delamination, uneven lattice growth, radiation damage, and high dark current. This study explores a new approach by coupling an FC40 electronic fluorinated liquid with a specialized high-resolution and high-readout-speed complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS)pixel array, specifically the Topmetal II−chip,to fabricate a direct conversion X-ray detector. The fluorinated liquid FC40(molecular formula:C_(21)F_(48)N_(2))is an electronic medium that is minimally affected by temperature and displays no issues with uniform conductivity. It exhibits a low dark current and minimal radiation damage and enables customizable thickness in X-ray absorption. This addresses the limitations inherent in conventional semiconductor-based detectors. In this study, simple X-ray detector imaging tests were conducted, demonstrating the excellent coupling capability between FC40 electronic fluorinated liquid and CMOS chips by the X-ray detector.A spatial resolution of 4.0 lp/mm was measured using a striped line par card, and a relatively clear image of a cockroach was displayed in the digital radiography imaging results.Preliminary test results indicated the feasibility of fabricating an X-ray detector by combining FC40 electronic fluorinated liquid and CMOS chips.Owing to the absence of issues related to chip-material coupling,a high spatial resolution could be achieved by reducing the chip pixel size. This method presents a new avenue for studies on novel liquid-based direct conversion X-ray detectors.

文摘The paper presents experimental investigation results of crack pattern change in cement pastes caused by external sulfate attack(ESA).To visualize the formation and development of cracks in cement pastes under ESA,an X-ray computed tomography(X-ray CT)was used,i e,the tomography system of Zeiss Xradia 510 versa. The results indicate that X-CT can monitor the development process and distribution characteristics of the internal cracks of cement pastes under ESA with attack time.In addition, the C3A content in the cement significantly affects the damage mode of cement paste specimens during sulfate erosion. The damage of ordinary Portland cement(OPC)pastes subjected to sulfate attack with high C3A content are severe, while the damage of sulfate resistant Portland cement(SRPC)pastes is much smaller than that of OPC pastes.Furthermore,a quadratic function describes the correlation between the crack volume fraction and development depth for two cement pastes immermed in sulfate solution.
文摘Objective Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by difficulties with communication and social interaction, restricted and repetitive behaviors.Previous studies have indicated that individuals with ASD exhibit early and lifelong attention deficits, which are closely related to the core symptoms of ASD.Basic visual attention processes may provide a critical foundation for their social communication and interaction abilities. Therefore, this study explores the behavior of children with ASD in capturing attention to changes in topological properties. Methods Our study recruited twenty-seven ASD children diagnosed by professional clinicians according to DSM-5 and twenty-eight typically developing(TD)age-matched controls. In an attention capture task,we recorded the saccadic behaviors of children with ASD and TD in response to topological change(TC)and non-topological change(nTC)stimuli.Saccadic reaction time(SRT),visual search time(VS),and first fixation dwell time(FFDT)were used as indicators of attentional bias.Pearson correlation tests between the clinical assessment scales and attentional bias were conducted. Results This study found that TD children had significantly faster SRT(P<0.05)and VS(P<0.05)for the TC stimuli compared to the nTC stimuli, while the children with ASD did not exhibit significant differences in either measure(P>0.05).Additionally,ASD children demonstrated significantly less attention towards the TC targets(measured by FFDT),in comparison to TD children(P<0.05).Furthermore,ASD children exhibited a significant negative linear correlation between their attentional bias(measured by VS)and their scores on the compulsive subscale(P<0.05).Conclusion The results suggest that children with ASD have difficulty shifting their attention to objects with topological changes during change detection. This atypical attention may affect the child’s cognitive and behavioral development, thereby impacting their social communication and interaction. In sum,our findings indicate that difficulties in attentional capture by TC may be a key feature of ASD.

文摘This paper proposes an efficient strategy for resource utilization in Elastic Optical Networks (EONs) to minimize spectrum fragmentation and reduce connection blocking probability during Routing and Spectrum Allocation (RSA). These results highlight DT-RSAF’s capability to maintain large contiguous frequency blocks, making it highly effective for accommodating high-bandwidth requests in EONs while maintaining reasonable execution times.
文摘Objective: With the increasing volume of trauma surgery, postoperative infections have garnered significant attention, as they not only affect patient outcomes but also raise healthcare costs and the risk of bacterial resistance. In clinical treatment, antibiotics should be selected rationally based on bacterial spectrum and resistance patterns to improve treatment efficacy.

文摘This study describes the design and performance of a laboratory-based tender X-ray spectrometer for X-ray absorption spectroscopy. The system enables effective absorption spectra to be measured within the 2.0-9.0 keV range using Rowland circle geometry;it covers the K edge of 3d transition metals, the L edge of lanthanides, and the M edge of actinides. The spectrometer is configured with a Rowland circle with a diameter of 500 mm and integrates a 250 W liquid metal jet X-ray source, spherical bent crystal analyzer, and energy-resolving silicon drift detector. The X-ray source is installed outside the vacuum chamber and remains fixed, while the analyzer crystals and detector are adjusted to change the Bragg angle, maintaining the Rowland condition. The energy resolution is 0.36-1.30 eV at 2.0-9.0 keV,and the monochromatic flux is approximately 5×10^(5) counts/s at 7040 eV.This study highlights the primary characteristics of the spectrometer and demon-strates its capabilities using selected experimental examples. The successful development of this spectrometer can facilitate research on actinide elements, which are often constrained in synchrotron radiation experiments owing to their radioactivity, thus fostering advancements in related nuclear energy fields.
