A detailed design methodology of a micro-scale 2-DOF energy harvesting device that can harvest human motion energy of low frequency and wide bandwidth is developed. Based on the concept of the 2-DOF vibration absorber, device parameters are selected to harvest energy at low frequency of 1-10 Hz and wide bandwidth with ±20% of the mean frequency, which matches the human motion. The device dimensions are limited to 40 × 30 × 10 mm3 to fit with the human wrist size. Then, a finite element model is developed to investigate the system performance with the selected parameters. When subjected to harmonic excitation of 1 g, the proposed 2-DOF device is able to provide a power of at least 10 μW in between the two close resonant peaks of 4 Hz and 6 Hz, which is the target frequency range. The device shows very high power per square frequency compared with the reported harvesters. 展开更多

In this paper,a piezoelectric energy harvester based on spiral-shaped polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)cantilever is designed and fabricated for harvesting low frequency vibration energy in the environment.In this design,the spiral-shaped PVDF cantilever is major for lowering the resonant frequency by increasing the length of the cantilever;Copper and silicon proof masses on both sides are working on further decreasing the resonant frequency and widen its bandwidth.Due to the high flexibility of the PVDF cantilever,this device is extremely sensitive to vibration and can harvest weak vibration energy.Both simulation and experimental results have approved that this device can operate at very low frequency which is about 20 Hz and can effectively harvest energy from 15–50 Hz.The peak of the output voltage can reach 1.8 V with the acceleration of 0.2 g.This is a promising harvester for powering the wireless sensors in the future. 展开更多

A wide passband frequency selective surface(FSS)is proposed using a five-layer stacked structure.The proposed structure applies four layers of dielectric plates and five layers of metal patches to provide a passband and exhibits more stable frequency responses and lower insertion loss under wide-angle oblique incidence compared with the typical three-layer metal-dielectric structure.According to the simulation results,the proposed FSS can achieve a passband range of 1.7-2.7 GHz with an insertion loss of less than 0.5 d B and a relative bandwidth of 44.1%,and it can preserve stable transmission characteristics with the incident angle ranging from 0°to 45°. 展开更多

An improved model for ultrasonic transducers is proposed. By considering only the first symmetric mode, each layer is represented as an acoustical transmission line in modeling of bulk wave transducers. In imaging applications, wide bandwidth and short time duration are required. The approach we have used consists of impedance matching the front face of the piezoelectric transducer to the propagating medium with a quarter wavelength impedance matching layer and inserting an nnmatching quarter wavelength acoustical layer between the rear face and backing material. A heavy backing would degrade the wide-band phenomena, but show a time duration shorter than 0.5 μs for imaging applications. PSPICE code of the controlled source model is implemented to precisely predict the performance of the matched transducers such as impedance, insertion loss, bandwidth and duration of the impulse response. Good agreement between the simulation and experimental results has been achieved. 展开更多

Microwave absorption in radar stealth technology is faced with challenges in terms of its effectiveness in low-frequency regions.Herein,we report a new laser-based method for producing an ultrawideband metamaterial-based microwave absorber with a highly uniform sheet resistance and negative magnetic permeability at resonant frequencies,which results in a wide bandwidth in the L-to S-band.Control of the electrical sheet resistance uniformity has been achieved with less than 5%deviation at 400Ωsq^(-1)and 6%deviation at 120Ωsq^(-1),resulting in a microwave absorption coefficient between 97.2%and 97.7%within a1.56–18.3 GHz bandwidth for incident angles of 0°–40°,and there is no need for providing energy or an electrical power source during the operation.Porous N-and S-doped turbostratic graphene 2D patterns with embedded magnetic nanoparticles were produced simultaneously on a polyethylene terephthalate substrate via laser direct writing.The proposed low-frequency,wideband,wide-incident-angle,and high-electromagnetic-absorption microwave absorber can potentially be used in aviation,electromagnetic interference(EMI)suppression,and 5G applications. 展开更多

A backside illuminated mesa-structure In Ga As/In P modified uni-traveling-carrier photodiode(MUTC-PD) with wide bandwidth and high saturation power is fabricated and investigated. The device structure is optimized to reduce the capacitance and resistance. For the 22-μm-diameter device, the maximum responsivity at 1.55 μm is 0.5 A/W, and the 3-d B cutoff frequency reaches up to 28 GHz. The output photocurrent at the 1-d B compression point is measured to be 54 m A at 25 GHz, with a corresponding output radio frequency(RF) power of up to 15.5 d Bm. The saturation characteristics of the MUTC-PD are also verified by the electric field simulation, and electric field collapse is found to be the cause of the saturation phenomenon. 展开更多

设计并仿真优化了一款基于“L”形探针馈电的新型±45°双极化微带贴片天线。采用2个正交且具有高度差的“L”形探针相互耦合馈电以实现双极化,使得天线所承载的信道容量得到大幅度提升。介于两介质基板之间的金属铜柱起到馈电... 设计并仿真优化了一款基于“L”形探针馈电的新型±45°双极化微带贴片天线。采用2个正交且具有高度差的“L”形探针相互耦合馈电以实现双极化,使得天线所承载的信道容量得到大幅度提升。介于两介质基板之间的金属铜柱起到馈电和辐射的作用。微带辐射贴片通过金属化过孔连接,并采用开口均朝内的对称“τ”形槽设计以增加谐振频点,将极化贴片设计成“S”形以扩展带宽。仿真结果表明,天线在2.08~2.77 GHz、3.66~5.36 GHz频段S11<-10 dB,相对阻抗带宽为66.15%,增益不低于6 dBi,辐射效率在90%以上,端口之间的隔离度大于10 dB,交叉极化电平大于20 dB。经实物制作及实际测量表明,天线在端口1处的测量结果与模拟结果之间吻合良好;在端口2处由于制作工艺及实验测试环境条件的影响使得测量结果有偏移,但在可接受范围内。与相近研究结果相比,设计天线具有宽带宽、结构简单易于制作、尺寸小的优势,可应用于C波段(3700~4200 MHz)和无线局域网(wireless local area network,WLAN)频带(2400~2484 MHz和5150~5350 MHz)的无线收发通信系统。 展开更多

High-linearity electro-optic(EO)modulators play a crucial role in microwave photonics(MWP).Although various methods have been explored to enhance linearity in MWP links,they are often constrained by the intrinsic nonlinearity of modulator materials,the complexity of external control devices,the bulkiness of structures,and bandwidth limitations.In this study,we present an integrated thin-film lithium niobate(TFLN)linear Mach–Zehnder modulator(LMZM),showing,to our knowledge,a record-high spurious-free dynamic range(SFDR)of 121.7 dB·Hz^(4∕5)at 1 GHz with an optical power(OP)of 5.5 dBm into the photodetector(PD),based on a widebandwidth(>50 GHz)dual-optical-mode(TE0 and TE1)co-modulated configuration with just one RF input.Additionally,compared to conventional MZMs(CMZMs),the LMZM exhibits a>10.6-dB enhancement in SFDR with an OP of>−8 dBm at 1 GHz,and maintains a 6.07-dB SFDR improvement even at 20 GHz with an OP of 0 dBm.The novel LMZM,featuring high linearity,wide bandwidth,structural simplicity,and high integration,holds significant potential as a key component in future large-scale and high-performance MWP integrated circuits. 展开更多

In the field of deep space exploration,the rapid development of terahertz spectrometer has put forward higher requirements to the back-end chirp transform spectrometer(CTS)system.In order to simultaneously meet the measurement requirements of wide bandwidth and high accuracy spectral lines,we built a CTS system with an analysis bandwidth of 1 GHz and a frequency resolution of 100 kHz around the surface acoustic wave(SAW)chirp filter with a bandwidth of 1 GHz.In this paper,the relationship between the CTS nonlinear phase error shift model and the basic measurement parameters is studied,and the effect of CTS phase mismatch on the pulse compression waveform is analyzed by simulation.And the expander error optimization method is proposed for the problem that the large nonlinear error of the expander leads to the unbalanced response of the CTS system and the serious distortion of the compressed pulse waveform under large bandwidth.It is verified through simulation and experiment that the method is effective for reducing the root mean square error(RMSE)of the phase of the expander from 18.75°to 6.65°,reducing the in-band standard deviation of the CTS frequency resolution index from 8.43 kHz to 4.72 kHz,solving the problem of serious distortion of the compressed pulse waveform,and improving the uneven CTS response under large bandwidth. 展开更多

为了解决接收机射频前端单片多频段兼容性问题,本文提出了一种新型的面向超宽带应用的带宽可重构低噪声放大器(Low Noise Amplifier,LNA)结构.该LNA基于开关切换式可重构设计方法,将开关可调设计嵌套在级联LNA电路的负载中,通过对并联... 为了解决接收机射频前端单片多频段兼容性问题,本文提出了一种新型的面向超宽带应用的带宽可重构低噪声放大器(Low Noise Amplifier,LNA)结构.该LNA基于开关切换式可重构设计方法,将开关可调设计嵌套在级联LNA电路的负载中,通过对并联电阻反馈结构的负载电感进行可重构设计,控制低频阻抗谐振点和对应增益极点的位置来实现不同UWB工作模式带内匹配和增益曲线的切换,相较于在输入/输出匹配通路引入开关的设计方法,将开关置于负载级,在不影响阻抗匹配的前提下优化增益和噪声;并对传统电感并联峰化技术中的电阻和电感进行可调设计兼顾不同工作带宽内的增益平坦度.基于SMIC 28 nm CMOS工艺,电磁建模提参后的仿真结果表明,LNA有3.1~10.6 GHz、6~10.6 GHz和3.1~5 GHz3种工作模式,可实现的带内电压增益(S_(21))均处于16.59 dB以上,最小噪声系数小于3 dB;在0.8 V的电源电压下,3种模式的输入输出匹配(S_(11)、S_(22))均小于-10 dB,静态功耗仅为9.03 mW;引入MOS开关后,3种带宽的LNA噪声系数恶化均小于0.2 dB. 展开更多

复杂的表层地震地质条件和复杂的深层地震波场及构造特征,致使准噶尔盆地南缘整体地震资料信噪比低,构造精细解析困难,严重影响了油气勘探进程。随着高探1井在下组合获重大突破,近5年来该区整体部署、分步实施了超过3800 km^(2)的“两... 复杂的表层地震地质条件和复杂的深层地震波场及构造特征,致使准噶尔盆地南缘整体地震资料信噪比低,构造精细解析困难,严重影响了油气勘探进程。随着高探1井在下组合获重大突破,近5年来该区整体部署、分步实施了超过3800 km^(2)的“两宽一高”(宽方位、宽频、高密度)地震勘探项目。在这些勘探项目的地震资料采集环节中,表层巨厚砾岩调查、基于高清地理信息激发点预设计、井震混源高效激发采集等一系列针对性技术的应用,实现了在成本可承受范围内,炮道密度逐年提高。经几年的一体化技术攻关,该区地震资料成像效果得到了大幅提升,井震误差明显降低。准噶尔盆地南缘双复杂区地震采集技术对类似探区地震采集项目极具参考意义。 展开更多

设计了一款高增益宽带两维电扫星载毫米波合成孔径雷达(Synthetic Aperture Radar,SAR)有源相控阵天线。天线单元采用了窄边开“八”字斜缝的脊波导缝隙天线,功分网络亦采取脊波导结构,二者通过“工”字缝隙耦合,使得该天线阵列具有宽... 设计了一款高增益宽带两维电扫星载毫米波合成孔径雷达(Synthetic Aperture Radar,SAR)有源相控阵天线。天线单元采用了窄边开“八”字斜缝的脊波导缝隙天线,功分网络亦采取脊波导结构,二者通过“工”字缝隙耦合,使得该天线阵列具有宽工作频段、低剖面的特点。为了解决700 MHz大瞬时带宽两维扫描时SAR天线波束色散问题,馈电网络中引入了最小延时步进为0.5λ_(0)和最大延时量为30.5λ_(0)的四通道延时组件,通过合理布局和链路设计弥补指向偏差。在方位向,波导缝隙天线组成直线阵,实现了方位向±3°的扫描。在距离向,波导缝隙直线阵紧密排布,通过T/R组件调节幅相,实现了距离向±45°的扫描。设计的天线包含11个天线模块,每个模块均包含7个子阵,有效口径约为176λ_(0)×31.5λ_(0)。实测天线工作频段为X波段,工作瞬时带宽为700 MHz,色散精度控制在±0.1°内,具有高增益、宽瞬时带宽、两维电扫的优点,结构简洁紧凑,适用于星载SAR系统。 展开更多

针对低轨卫星高动态环境下Ka频段超宽带(UWB)导航信号跟踪中存在较大载波多普勒频移和码多普勒与高阶动态应力的问题,提出一种基于动态场景的跟踪环路带宽设计方法:通过理论建模与最小误差准则,推导跟踪环路的最优环路带宽闭式解,该闭... 针对低轨卫星高动态环境下Ka频段超宽带(UWB)导航信号跟踪中存在较大载波多普勒频移和码多普勒与高阶动态应力的问题,提出一种基于动态场景的跟踪环路带宽设计方法:通过理论建模与最小误差准则,推导跟踪环路的最优环路带宽闭式解,该闭式解明确最优带宽与速度、加速度、加加速度的卫星运动参数及载噪比(C/N0)的定量关系。实验结果表明,在所推导的跟踪架构和设置的最优环路带宽下,跟踪码误差可稳定在±0.1个码片范围内,载波误差可稳定在±0.03周(1周载波长度=1倍波长)范围内,频率误差可稳定在±200 Hz范围内,能对卫星信号进行有效跟踪。提出的方法可为低轨卫星超宽带信号高动态跟踪环路带宽设计提供参考。 展开更多
