The fuzzy comfortability of a wind-sensitive super-high tower crane is critical to guarantee occupant health and improve construction efficiency.Therefore,the wind-resistant fuzzy comfortability of a super-high tower crane in the Ma’anshan Yangtze River(MYR)Bridge site is analyzed in this paper.First,the membership function model that represents fuzzy comfortability is introduced in the probability density evolution method(PDEM).Second,based on Fechner’s law,the membership function curves are constructed according to three acceleration thresholds in ISO 2631.Then,the fuzzy comfortability for the super-high tower crane under stochastic wind loads is assessed on the basis of different cut-set levelsλ.Results show that the comfortability is over 0.9 under the required maximum operating wind velocity.The low sensitivity toλcan be observed in the reliability curves of ISOⅡandⅢmembership functions.The reliability of the ISOⅠmembership function is not sensitive toλwhenλ<0.7,whereas it becomes sensitive toλwhenλ>0.7. 展开更多

In order to solve the problem of path planning of tower cranes,an improved ant colony algorithm was proposed.Firstly,the tower crane was simplified into a three-degree-of-freedom mechanical arm,and the D-H motion model was established to solve the forward and inverse kinematic equations.Secondly,the traditional ant colony algorithm was improved.The heuristic function was improved by introducing the distance between the optional nodes and the target point into the function.Then the transition probability was improved by introducing the security factor of surrounding points into the transition probability.In addition,the local path chunking strategy was used to optimize the local multi-inflection path and reduce the local redundant inflection points.Finally,according to the position of the hook,the kinematic inversion of the tower crane was carried out,and the variables of each joint were obtained.More specifically,compared with the traditional ant colony algorithm,the simulation results showed that improved ant colony algorithm converged faster,shortened the optimal path length,and optimized the path quality in the simple and complex environment. 展开更多

Aimed at enhancing the requests of image quality and stability of the virtual construction scene, taking a tower crane for example. We studied the technology of three-dimensional modeling and optimization of a virtual tower crane, and a method named two-stage model optimization was put forward. This depended on the modeling stage using Solidworks and 3DS Max and the performance optimization stage in EON. The practice of software development indicates that the proposed methods of three-dimensional modeling and optimization could satisfy the performance request of virtual construction system and be popularized to other virtual system. 展开更多

But research on tower crane is insufficient for reducing the tower crane accident. This study aims to derive the importance ranking of accident factors of cab-control tower crane by AHP analysis. AHP survey was conducted on experts such as construction engineer, construction manager, safety engineer, and tower crane operator, who have more than 10-year career. The results of AHP analysis reveal that top ranking factor of cab-control tower crane’s accident is erection work. Therefore, the derived factors should be managed, and the priority measures taken for reducing the tower crane accidents according to the ranking of accident factors. 展开更多

Evaluation of Driver-Induced Human Errors in Smart Construction Tower Crane Operations Based on DEMATEL-ISM-MICMAC

Among the contributing facto... With the advent of Industry 4.0, smart construction sites have seen significant development in China. However, accidents involving digitized tower cranes continue to be a persistent issue. Among the contributing factors, human unsafe behavior stands out as a primary cause for these incidents. This study aims to assess the human reliability of tower crane operations on smart construction sites. To proactively enhance safety measures, the research employs text mining techniques (TF-IDF-Truncated SVD-Complement NB) to identify patterns of human errors among tower crane operators. Building upon the SHEL model, the study categorizes behavioral factors affecting human reliability in the man-machine interface, leading to the establishment of the Performance Shaping Factors (PSFs) system. Furthermore, the research constructs an error impact indicator system for the intelligent construction site tower crane operator interface. Using the DEMATEL method, it analyzes the significance of various factors influencing human errors in tower crane operations. Additionally, the ISM-MICMAC method is applied to unveil the hierarchical relationships and driving-dependent connections among these influencing factors. The findings indicate that personal state, operating procedures, and physical environment directly impact human errors, while personal capability, technological environment, and one fundamental organizational management factor contribute indirectly. . 展开更多

Vibration signals are measured using a wireless smart sensor system. Fault detection is performed gear-by-gear in the gearbox. A new diagnostic classifier is proposed to integrate strengths of several signal processing techniques for fault detection. A hybrid machine learning method is proposed to facilitate implementation and improve training convergence. In the current paper, a simplified model of Tower Cranes has been presented in order to investigate and analyze the nonlinear differential equation governing on the presented system in three different cases by Algebraic Method (AGM). Comparisons have been made between AGM and Numerical Solution, and these results have been indicated that this approach is very efficient and easy so it can be applied for other nonlinear equations. It is citable that there are some valuable advantages in this way of solving differential equations and also the answer of various sets of complicated differential equations can be achieved in this manner which in the other methods, so far, they have not had acceptable solutions. The simplification of the solution procedure in Algebraic Method and its application for solving a wide variety of differential equations not only in Vibrations but also in different fields of study such as fluid mechanics, chemical engineering, etc. make AGM be a powerful and useful role model for researchers in order to solve complicated nonlinear differential equations. 展开更多

Tower cranes are commonly used facilities for the construction of high-rise structures.To ensure their workability,it is very important to analyze their response and evaluate their condition under extreme conditions.This paper proposes a general scheme for safety and serviceability assessment of high-rise tower crane to turbulent winds based on time domain buffeting response analysis.Spatially correlated wind velocity field at the location of the tower crane was first simulated using an algorithm for generating the time domain samples of a stationary,multivariate stochastic process according to some prescribed spectral density matrix.The buffeting forces applied to the structure were computed according to the above-simulated wind velocity fluctuations and the lift,drag,and moment coefficients obtained from a CFD computation.Those spatially correlated loads were then fed into a well calibrated finite element model and the nonlinear time history analysis was conducted to compute structural buffeting response.Compared with structural onsite response measurement,the computed response using the proposed method has good precision.The proposed method is then adopted for analyzing the buffeting response of an in-use tower crane under the design wind speed and the maximum operational wind speed for safety and serviceability assessment. 展开更多

In this paper, the problem of load transportation and robust mitigation of payload oscillations in uncertain tower-cranes is addressed. This problem is tackled through a control scheme based on the philosophy of active-disturbance-rejection. Here, a general disturbance model built with two dominant components: polynomial and harmonic, is stated. Then, a disturbance observer is formulated through state-vector augmentation of the tower-crane model. Thus, better performance of estimations for system states and disturbances is achieved. The control law is then formulated to actively reject the disturbances but also to accommodate the closed-loop system dynamics even under system uncertainty. The proposed control schema is validated via experimentation using a small-scale tower-crane,and compared with other relevant active disturbance rejection control(ADRC)-based techniques. The experimental results show that the proposed control scheme is robust under parametric uncertainty of the system, and provides improved attenuation of payload oscillations even under system uncertainty. 展开更多

近年来塔式起重机倒塌事故频发,其中标准节作为主要受力构件,其损伤是导致倒塌的重要原因之一,然而现有的标准节检测方法都存在成本较高、操作不便的问题。鉴于此,提出一种基于频响函数差异的塔式起重机标准节无损检测方法。首先推导损... 近年来塔式起重机倒塌事故频发,其中标准节作为主要受力构件,其损伤是导致倒塌的重要原因之一,然而现有的标准节检测方法都存在成本较高、操作不便的问题。鉴于此,提出一种基于频响函数差异的塔式起重机标准节无损检测方法。首先推导损伤检测原理,提出基于频响函数差异的理论依据;其次进行构件试验,验证所提方法的有效性;最后完成现场标准节试验,对获取的激励响应和输出响应进行处理以得到频响函数,再由频响函数计算得到损伤值S值来判别损伤,并通过分析发现S值与标准节服役年限有较好关联性。该方法具有精确度高、操作简便、成本较低等优点,能较好地应用于塔式起重机标准节的无损检测。 展开更多

针对塔吊安全事故频发的现状,通过塔吊安全事故数据探究事故关键致因因素,提出一种基于故障树-贝叶斯网络(FTA-BN)的系统性风险分析方法,从人、设备、管理、环境四大方面识别事故致因。通过扎根理论对塔吊事故数据进行质性分析,提取了2... 针对塔吊安全事故频发的现状,通过塔吊安全事故数据探究事故关键致因因素,提出一种基于故障树-贝叶斯网络(FTA-BN)的系统性风险分析方法,从人、设备、管理、环境四大方面识别事故致因。通过扎根理论对塔吊事故数据进行质性分析,提取了29个致因因素构建故障树模型,进一步将其映射为贝叶斯网络模型,结合逆向推理与敏感性分析进行定量评估。结果表明,安全管理制度不完善、未按照专项施工方案实施、塔吊结构/部件故障、违规操作、政府/相关单位监管不到位、安全意识淡薄、交叉作业、未按要求进行设备维保、断绳脱钩这9个关键致因对事故风险影响显著,其中管理因素是系统性风险的核心。 展开更多

通过桁架结构拓扑及尺寸两阶段优化设计方法,在前序工作中得到轻量化的塔式起重机臂架结构。为验证该优化方法的有效性以及对优化臂架结构强度和刚度的影响,选取臂架末三节结构开展相似缩比模型试验。首先基于相似理论,采用量纲分析法,... 通过桁架结构拓扑及尺寸两阶段优化设计方法,在前序工作中得到轻量化的塔式起重机臂架结构。为验证该优化方法的有效性以及对优化臂架结构强度和刚度的影响,选取臂架末三节结构开展相似缩比模型试验。首先基于相似理论,采用量纲分析法,以长度和材料弹性模量为基本量纲推导了塔式起重机臂架的相似准则。以5∶1的相似比对原始臂架和优化臂架进行了相似缩放,并结合市面上能购买到的杆件,对相关尺寸进行了圆整,得到塔式起重机臂架相似缩比模型,并对模型开展了有限元分析。然后制定试验方案,应力测量采用应变片与应变分析仪,结合有限元分析结果规划应变片的布置方案,主要测量上弦杆顶部、下弦杆底部及部分腹杆的应力。变形测量采用百分表,在臂架中间和端部共布置3组百分表,以此得到3个位置的变形数据。载荷施加通过电子吊秤精确控制。试验数据分析结果及与有限元仿真数据的对比表明,相较于原始臂架优化臂架重量有一定减轻,整体应力水平降低,静态刚度保持一致,验证了设计方法的有效性。 展开更多

高耸塔吊直接分析法研究

基于计算长度法的稳定性设计因不考虑结构变形的影响、忽略结构整体及构件初始缺陷等因素,在面对塔吊这种长细比较大的结构时存在许多问题。考虑各种非线性影响因素的直接分析法在本质上解决了传统计算长度法面临的困难,在分析中考虑了... 基于计算长度法的稳定性设计因不考虑结构变形的影响、忽略结构整体及构件初始缺陷等因素,在面对塔吊这种长细比较大的结构时存在许多问题。考虑各种非线性影响因素的直接分析法在本质上解决了传统计算长度法面临的困难,在分析中考虑了设计的要求,已被《钢结构设计标准》(GB 50017—2017)等众多主流规范推荐。首先调研了近十年较为严重的塔吊事故,并进行分类、总结事故原因。然后采用基于直接分析法的NIDA软件,以一实际塔吊结构为例对比直接分析法与传统计算长度法在分析和设计上的差异。针对塔吊结构考虑了工作状态和非工作状态时所对应的工况,分析表明结构变形对塔吊的内力和变形影响随自由高度的增大而呈非线性增大,故不能忽略结构的二阶效应。对比计算长度法,得到考虑缺陷和变形影响的直接分析法均获得了更真实、更不利的设计结果。因此,对高耸塔吊结构的整体稳定分析和设计应采用直接分析法,以避免塔吊事故的发生。 展开更多

vivo全球AI研发中心为复杂钢框架-核心筒结构体系,建筑内含5道单截面箱形大跨度巨拱,巨拱最高39.0 m,最大跨度77.6 m。项目现场施工条件复杂,包含5层地下室,顶板层高差大、洞口多,施工最终选用了分段吊装法施工,实际工程中大型履带吊行... vivo全球AI研发中心为复杂钢框架-核心筒结构体系,建筑内含5道单截面箱形大跨度巨拱,巨拱最高39.0 m,最大跨度77.6 m。项目现场施工条件复杂,包含5层地下室,顶板层高差大、洞口多,施工最终选用了分段吊装法施工,实际工程中大型履带吊行驶至拱外侧钢栈桥,拱下方则搭设支撑系统,以自内向外的顺序进行施工。本文主要介绍了巨拱施工的方案选择思路,设计出了一种可供重型履带吊作业的钢栈桥以及以塔吊标准节为主的巨拱支撑系统,开展了巨拱全过程施工模拟分析和施工健康监测,二者进行对比后发现结果的吻合度较高;此外,本文还阐述了施工过程中工序配合等问题,对施工中异于常规超高层钢结构项目中的技术要点(如空间塔冠、临时塔吊附着等技术)进行了分析,可为后续同类超高层钢结构工程的实施提供一定的借鉴作用。 展开更多

Background This paper presents an intelligent path planner for lifting tasks by tower cranes in highly complex environments,such as old industrial plants that were built many decades ago and sites used as tentative storage spaces.Generally,these environments do not have workable digital models and 3 D representations are impractical.Methods The current investigation introduces the use of cutting edge laser scanning technology to convert real environments into virtualized versions of the construction sites or plants in the form of point clouds.The challenge is in dealing with the large point cloud datasets from the multiple scans needed to produce a complete virtualized model.The tower crane is also virtualized for the purpose of path planning.A parallelized genetic algorithm is employed to achieve intelligent path planning for the lifting task performed by tower cranes in complicated environments taking advantage of graphics processing unit technology,which has high computing performance yet low cost.Results Optimal lifting paths are generate d in several seconds. 展开更多
