And the Zeta potentials and contact-angles of silicate minerals and diaspore were also stu-(died.)The results show that in the presence of 2×10-4 mol·L-1CTAB, the surface charges of pyrophyllite, kaolinite and illite become more positive, and the contact angles of these three silicates also increase evidently in the pH range of 2-8, but the Zeta potentials and contact angles of diaspore change little. So, the floatability of the four minerals is in the following order: pyrophyllite>kaolinite≈illite>diaspore. The open-circuit flotation results also show that a bauxite concentrate with m(Al2O3)/m(SiO2) over 9.3 and Al2O3 recovery over 76% can be obtained from diasporic-bauxite ore. The result of XRD of the bauxite concentrate shows that pyrophyllite is easier to be removed from diasporic-bauxite than illite and kaolinite due to its better floatability.展开更多

The interference from excess of reagent was masked by adding lead ions solution. The molar absorptivities (Ae) for zinc and cadmium were 6. 54 × 105 and 4. 27 × 105 L. mol-1. cm-1,respectively. The method could be used to determine zinc and cadmium in synthetic mixtures, and the satisfied results were obtained.展开更多
A new reagent. trimethylammonium chlorochromate adsorbed on alumina, suitable for the oxidation of hydroxy compounds to the corresponding carbonyl compounds is described.
A novel amphiphile of 4-[4-(4-decyloxyphenylazo) naphthyloxy] butyl trimethylammonium bromide has been synthesized. It can form the stable bilayer in dilute aqueous solution.
The indirect voltammetric determination of trace sulfate (2.0×10^(-6)~4.0×10^(-5) mol/L ) with the adsorptive complex wave of lead(Ⅱ)-tetrakis (4-trimethylammonium phenyl) porphyrin (PbTTMAPP) is reported....The indirect voltammetric determination of trace sulfate (2.0×10^(-6)~4.0×10^(-5) mol/L ) with the adsorptive complex wave of lead(Ⅱ)-tetrakis (4-trimethylammonium phenyl) porphyrin (PbTTMAPP) is reported. This method has been used for the analysis of natural waters with satisfactory results.展开更多

Dissipative particle dynamics(DPD) method was used to simulate the interaction between KGM and the cationic surfactant. Influences of concentration, temperature and shear process on the structure and properties of aggregates were mainly examined. The results revealed that the density peak increased with the increase of concentration of KGM. With increasing the temperature, density peak moved to the right and increased, and then decreased when the temperature rose to a certain value. The density peak moved to the right at the low shear rate while decreased at the high one. During simulation, the high viscosity related to the low diffusion rate, which made it difficult to form a large continuous phase.展开更多
