Through building an indicator system for evaluating the marine sci-tech innovation ability of China's coastal provinces,this paper made a comparative analysis on marine sci-tech innovation ability of 11 coastal pr...Through building an indicator system for evaluating the marine sci-tech innovation ability of China's coastal provinces,this paper made a comparative analysis on marine sci-tech innovation ability of 11 coastal provinces in 2011-2013 by the principal components analysis( PCA) method. It found these coastal regions can be divided into three levels. Guangdong Province belongs to the first level because its marine sci-tech innovation ability is relatively high. On this basis,it analyzed changes in marine sci-tech innovation ability of 11 coastal provinces with the aid of DEA's Malmquist productivity index model. Results indicate that the overall marine sci-tech innovation ability of 11 coastal provinces is rising,but there is significant difference between provinces and the influence of regional economic development level is not considerable.Technical progress is main driver for promoting marine sci-tech innovation ability of Guangdong Province and major factor influencing ranking of total factor productivity.展开更多

Purpose-This study explores how managerial leadership and organizational innovation interact to enhance resilience and risk management in railway supply chains and how these capabilities contribute to sustained compet...Purpose-This study explores how managerial leadership and organizational innovation interact to enhance resilience and risk management in railway supply chains and how these capabilities contribute to sustained competitive advantage.It emphasizes the strategic importance of resilience in railway systems that face operational complexity,regulatory pressures and increasing exposure to systemic risks.Design/methodology/approach-A mixed-methods design was employed,integrating survey data from 186 railway organizations with six case studies involving railway operators,rolling stock manufacturers and supply chain partners across multiple regions.Constructs were measured using validated scales and hypothesized relationships were tested using Structural Equation Modeling(SEM).Case study interviews were analyzed thematically to provide contextual understanding of leadership practices and innovation strategies.Findings-The results confirm that transformational managerial leadership significantly predicts innovation adoption,which in turn strengthens resilience and risk management capabilities.Resilience emerged as a powerful driver of competitive advantage,reinforcing its role as a strategic capability rather than a reactive response to disruptions.Furthermore,innovation was shown to partially mediate the relationship between leadership and resilience,highlighting its function as the operational channel through which vision translates into capability.Originality/value-This study contributes to the literature by integrating the Resource-Based View(RBV)and Dynamic Capabilities(DC)framework into the context of railway supply chains.It is among the first to empirically validate the mediating role of innovation between leadership and resilience,offering both theoretical advancements and actionable strategies for building resilient and competitive railway systems.展开更多
In the context of the revolution in new technologies,a key question is whether the rapid growth of the digital economy,driven by digital technologies,has improved regional innovation performance.Using inter-provincial...In the context of the revolution in new technologies,a key question is whether the rapid growth of the digital economy,driven by digital technologies,has improved regional innovation performance.Using inter-provincial panel data from China(2012–2022)and adopting a business environment perspective,this study applies a Panel Extended Regression Model(PERM),a Panel Simultaneous Equation Model(PSEM),and a Tobit-IV model to analyze how the development of the digital economy influences regional innovation.The results reveal a pronounced U-shaped relationship between the digital economy and the regional innovation performance at the provincial level in China,with the business environment serving as a significant mediator in this relationship.Moreover,regional innovation performance in China exhibits a“ratchet effect,”with the impact of the digital economy varying markedly across regions.While the eastern and western regions have entered an upward phase,whereby the digital economy boosts innovation,the central region displays a weaker effect.Further analysis indicates that the synergy between the business environment and the digital economy in driving innovation remains suboptimal.These findings were supported by robust checks.This study offers theoretical insights and empirical evidence that support the coordinated development of digital government and the digital factor market,as well as business environment reforms that are in alignment with the innovation demands of the digital era.展开更多

As informal environmental regulation,green news coverage plays an increasingly significant role in corporate environmental governance and green innovation.However,current academic research on corporate green innovatio...As informal environmental regulation,green news coverage plays an increasingly significant role in corporate environmental governance and green innovation.However,current academic research on corporate green innovation primarily focuses on formal environmental regulation,with limited attention paid to the influence of green news coverage,particularly lacking in-depth studies on its impact mechanisms.Using a sample of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2008 to 2023,this study employs text analysis and fixed-effects models to comprehensively examine the impact of green news coverage on corporate green innovation and its transmission mechanisms.Empirical results indicate that green news coverage significantly promotes corporate green innovation,with positive coverage demonstrating particularly pronounced effects.Specifically,corporate environmental investment and environmental information disclosure levels serve as key internal mechanisms through which green news coverage influences green innovation.Environmental investment and disclosure act as partial or full mediators depending on the specific context.Heterogeneity analysis reveals that green news coverage significantly boosts green innovation in heavily polluting enterprises and those with environmental executives.Positive coverage exerts greater effects on mature firms,while negative coverage impacts growth-stage enterprises more profoundly.Against the backdrop of synergistic integration between the dual carbon goals and new productive forces,green news should fully leverage its incentive and oversight functions as informal environmental rules.This will help build a multi-stakeholder governance system to advance the transition toward a green ecological civilization.展开更多

文摘In the context of the revolution in new technologies,a key question is whether the rapid growth of the digital economy,driven by digital technologies,has improved regional innovation performance.Using inter-provincial panel data from China(2012–2022)and adopting a business environment perspective,this study applies a Panel Extended Regression Model(PERM),a Panel Simultaneous Equation Model(PSEM),and a Tobit-IV model to analyze how the development of the digital economy influences regional innovation.The results reveal a pronounced U-shaped relationship between the digital economy and the regional innovation performance at the provincial level in China,with the business environment serving as a significant mediator in this relationship.Moreover,regional innovation performance in China exhibits a“ratchet effect,”with the impact of the digital economy varying markedly across regions.While the eastern and western regions have entered an upward phase,whereby the digital economy boosts innovation,the central region displays a weaker effect.Further analysis indicates that the synergy between the business environment and the digital economy in driving innovation remains suboptimal.These findings were supported by robust checks.This study offers theoretical insights and empirical evidence that support the coordinated development of digital government and the digital factor market,as well as business environment reforms that are in alignment with the innovation demands of the digital era.

文摘Long-life energy storage batteries are integral to energy storage systems and electric vehicles,with lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)currently being the preferred option for extended usage-life energy storage.To further extend the life span of LIBs,it is essential to intensify investments in battery design,manufacturing processes,and the advancement of ancillary materials.The pursuit of long durability introduces new challenges for battery energy density.The advent of electrode material offers effective support in enhancing the battery’s long-duration performance.Often underestimated as part of the cathode composition,the binder plays a pivotal role in the longevity and electrochemical performance of the electrode.Maintaining the mechanical integrity of the electrode through judicious binder design is a fundamental requirement for achieving consistent long-life cycles and high energy density.This paper primarily concentrates on the commonly employed cathode systems in lithium-ion batteries,elucidates the significance of binders for both,discusses the application status,strengths,and weaknesses of novel binders,and ultimately puts forth corresponding optimization strategies.It underscores the critical function of binders in enhancing battery performance and advancing the sustainable development of lithium-ion batteries,aiming to offer fresh insights and perspectives for the design of high-performance LIBs.

文摘As core and foundational materials for high-temperature processes in industries such as iron and steel,nonferrous metals,cement,glass,ceramics,chemicals,machinery,electric power,and national defense,refractories are directly pivotal to the operational stability and technological innovation of these sectors.However,the industry currently confronts multiple challenges,including constraints on raw material resources,bottlenecks in process technology,and a lag in intelligent transformation.To break through this development impasse from a scientific and technological innovation perspective,it is proposed to focus on diversified market demands,fully leverage the advantageous properties of raw mineral resources,accelerate integration and transformation through the“Artificial Intelligence+Refractories”model,and strengthen the development of original innovation capabilities.Through theoretical research and practical exploration,preliminary laboratory-scale results have been achieved,providing a new pathway and reference for the high-quality development of the refractory industry.

文摘As informal environmental regulation,green news coverage plays an increasingly significant role in corporate environmental governance and green innovation.However,current academic research on corporate green innovation primarily focuses on formal environmental regulation,with limited attention paid to the influence of green news coverage,particularly lacking in-depth studies on its impact mechanisms.Using a sample of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2008 to 2023,this study employs text analysis and fixed-effects models to comprehensively examine the impact of green news coverage on corporate green innovation and its transmission mechanisms.Empirical results indicate that green news coverage significantly promotes corporate green innovation,with positive coverage demonstrating particularly pronounced effects.Specifically,corporate environmental investment and environmental information disclosure levels serve as key internal mechanisms through which green news coverage influences green innovation.Environmental investment and disclosure act as partial or full mediators depending on the specific context.Heterogeneity analysis reveals that green news coverage significantly boosts green innovation in heavily polluting enterprises and those with environmental executives.Positive coverage exerts greater effects on mature firms,while negative coverage impacts growth-stage enterprises more profoundly.Against the backdrop of synergistic integration between the dual carbon goals and new productive forces,green news should fully leverage its incentive and oversight functions as informal environmental rules.This will help build a multi-stakeholder governance system to advance the transition toward a green ecological civilization.

文摘The rapid development of new-quality productive forces(NQPF)has intensified the demand for high-level innovative talent.As a representative of NQPF,generative artificial intelligence(GenAI)offers powerful tools to reshape talent cultivation but also presents significant challenges,including skill hollowing,ethical risks,and a growing disconnect between education and industry needs.Currently,graduate-level software engineering education struggles with outdated curricula and insufficient alignment with practical demands.In this paper,we propose a dual-core collaborative framework driven by“GenAI technology”and“industry demand”.Under this framework,we design a four-dimensional capability development path to enhance graduate students’innovation in software engineering practice.This path focuses on①scientific research innovation,②engineering problem-solving,③cross-domain collaborative evolution,and④ethical risk governance.The proposed approach promotes a shift from traditional knowledge transfer to human-machine collaborative innovation,aligning talent cultivation with the demands of the NQPF.
