The teleconnection impact of the boreal winter Antarctic Oscillation(AAO) on the Somali Jet(SMJ) intensity in the following spring and summer is examined in this paper.The variability of the boreal winter AAO is p...The teleconnection impact of the boreal winter Antarctic Oscillation(AAO) on the Somali Jet(SMJ) intensity in the following spring and summer is examined in this paper.The variability of the boreal winter AAO is positively related to the SMJ intensity in both spring and summer.The analyses show that the SST in southern high and middle latitudes seems to serve as a bridge linking these two systems.When the AAO is in strong positive phase,SST over the Southern Ocean cools in the high latitudes and warms in the middle latitudes,which persists into summer;however,the variability of SST in southern high and middle latitudes is also closely correlated to SMJ intensity.A possible mechanism that links SST variability with the AAO-SMJ relationship is also discussed.The AAO in boreal winter produces an SST anomaly pattern in southern high and middle latitudes through the air-sea coupling.This AAOrelated SST anomaly pattern modulates the local Ferrel cell anomaly in summer,followed by the regional Hadley cell anomaly in tropics.The anomalous vertical motion in tropics then changes the land-sea thermal contrast between the tropical Indian Ocean and the Asian continent through the variability of low cloud cover and downward surface longwave radiation flux.Finally,the land-sea thermal contrast anomaly between the tropical Indian Ocean and the Asian continent changes the SMJ intensity.The results from Community Atmosphere Model experiments forced by the SST anomaly in southern high and middle latitudes also confirm this diagnostic physical process to some extent.展开更多

Objective:To explore the influence of physical exercise,psychological resilience,and peer influence on subjective well-being,and then build a model of moderated mediation.Methods:Physical Activity Rating,Connor Davisi...Objective:To explore the influence of physical exercise,psychological resilience,and peer influence on subjective well-being,and then build a model of moderated mediation.Methods:Physical Activity Rating,Connor Davision Resilience Scale,Peer Influence Scale,and Index of Well-Being were used.This paper investigated 790 undergraduates.Results:(1)Physical exercise has a significant positive predictive effect on subjective well-being(β=0.43,P<0.001);(2)Psychological resilience plays a part in mediating the relationship between physical exercise and subjective well-being.The mediating effect value is 0.18;(3)The relationship between physical exercise and psychological resilience moderated by the peer influence.Compared with the low peer influence(β simple=0.01,t=0.06,P>0.05),physical exercise has a stronger positive predictive effect on psychological resilience in college students with high peer influence(β simple=0.87,t=2.07,P<0.05).Conclusion:Physical exercise affects college students'subjective well-being through psychological resilience,and peer influence moderates the mediating effect of psychological resilience.展开更多

This review systematically discusses strategies and progress in the construction of cardiac organoids, categorizing them into three main types:cardiac spheroids, self-organizing/assembloid organoids, and organoid-on-a-chip systems. This review uniquely integrates the advances in vascularization, organ-on-chip design, and environmental cardiotoxicity modeling within cardiac organoid platforms, offering a critical synthesis that is absent in the literature. In the context of escalating environmental threats to cardiovascular health, there is an urgent need for physiologically relevant models to accurately identify cardiac toxicants and elucidate their underlying mechanisms of action. This review highlights advances in cardiac organoid applications for disease modeling-including congenital heart defects and acquired cardiovascular diseases-drug development, toxicity screening, and the study of environmentally induced cardiovascular pathogenesis. In addition, it critically examines ongoing challenges and underscores opportunities brought by bioengineering approaches. With the rapid development of the marine economy,marine microbiologically influenced corrosion(MIC)has garnered increasing attention.However,most studies have not analyzed the MIC process over continuous and extended ...With the rapid development of the marine economy,marine microbiologically influenced corrosion(MIC)has garnered increasing attention.However,most studies have not analyzed the MIC process over continuous and extended periods,failing to provide a comprehensive understanding of MIC mechanisms at different stages.In this study,the corrosion behavior of EH36 steel caused by Halomonas titanicae in an aerobic enriched seawater over a 30-d incubation period was investigated driven by big data.The results revealed that the corrosion by H.titanicae against EH36 steel evolved dynamically over time.During the initial stages,the aerobic respiration of H.titanicae consumed significant amounts of oxygen,which suppressed the cathodic oxygen reduction process,thereby inhibiting corrosion compared to the abiotic conditions.As time progressed,the accumulation of corrosion products slowed the abiotic corrosion,while the biotic corrosion accelerated due to a shift from aerobic to anaerobic respiration by H.titanicae,utilizing Fe0 and nitrate as electron donors and acceptors,respectively.The big data results are consistent with the weight loss and electrochemical data,demonstrating the reliability of using big data monitoring techniques to characterize microbial corrosion processes.展开更多
Zinc-based alloys are promising biodegradable materials for application in the intestinal environment due to their appropriate degradation rates and favorable biocompatibility.However,the corrosion and degradation of ...Zinc-based alloys are promising biodegradable materials for application in the intestinal environment due to their appropriate degradation rates and favorable biocompatibility.However,the corrosion and degradation of biodegradable zinc alloys in the presence of intestinal microorganisms are seldom investigated.In this study,binary Zn-Mn alloys with 0.4 and 0.8 wt.%Mn content were fabricated using the extrusion process.The corrosion behaviors of pure zinc and Zn-Mn alloys with the existence of Lactobacillus acidophilus,a representative microorganism in the intestinal tract,were systematically investigated.In comparison to pure zinc,both Zn-Mn alloys exhibited enhanced strength and ductility.L.acidophilus significantly accelerated the corrosion of both pure zinc and Zn-Mn alloys by generating acidic agents.The presence of L.acidophilus increased the icorr values for pure zinc,Zn-0.4Mn,and Zn-0.8Mn from 68.7±9.9,33.9±2.3 and 17.1±0.1µA cm^(-2) to 253.5±26.7,167.6±8.7 and 30.6±2.2µA cm^(-2),respectively.The addition of Mn mitigated corrosion by refining grains and reducing the local surface potential difference.Compared to pure zinc,the surface potential difference of Zn-0.8Mn decreased from 31.8±1.7 mV to 11.8±0.9 mV.This study points out the existence of microbiologically influenced corrosion in the intestinal environment and emphasizes its importance in the comprehensive design of biodegradable zinc alloys.展开更多

Although the mechanisms of Ⅴ stress to the microbia...The large-scale exploitation of vanadium(Ⅴ) bearing minerals has led to a massive accumulation of Ⅴ tailings, of which Ⅴ pollution poses severe ecological risks. Although the mechanisms of Ⅴ stress to the microbial community have been reported, the influential pathways in a multi-medium-containing system, for example, the soil-tailings-groundwater system,are unknown. The dynamic redox conditions and substance exchange within the system exhibited complex Ⅴ stress on the local microbial communities. In this study, the influence pathways of Ⅴ stress to the microbial community in the soil-tailings-groundwater system were first investigated. High Ⅴ contents were observed in groundwater(139.2 ± 0.15 μg/L) and soil(98.0–323.8 ± 0.02 mg/kg), respectively. Distinct microbial composition was observed for soil and groundwater, where soil showed the highest level of diversity and richness. Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, Actinobacteria, and Acidobacteria were dominant in soil and groundwater with a sum relative abundance of around 80 %. Based on redundancy analysis and structural equation models, Ⅴ was one of the vital driving factors affecting microbial communities. Groundwater microbial communities were influenced by Ⅴ via Cr, dissolved oxygen, and total nitrogen, while Fe, Mn, and total phosphorus were the key mediators for Ⅴ to affect soil microbial communities. Ⅴ affected the microbial community via metabolic pathways related to carbonaceous matter, which was involved in the establishment of survival strategies for metal stress. This study provides novel insights into the influence pathways of Ⅴ on the microorganisms in tailings reservoir for pollution bioremediation.展开更多

文摘This study examines the role adaptation of rural primary school teachers through a literature review,summarizing the current research on general practice teachers and identifying emerging trends.Interviews were conducted with four rural primary school teachers,revealing key challenges:an incomplete understanding of their responsibilities as head teachers,a lack of theoretical and practical guidance in their role as learners,and insufficient research skills in their role as researchers.To address these issues,the study recommends reducing the number of subjects taught by general practice teachers in rural primary schools and providing targeted training,strengthening professional guidance and improving compensation,offering high-quality learning resources and encouraging further education,and establishing educational alliances to enhance teachers’research capabilities.

文摘With the ongoing depletion of fossil fuels,energy and environmental issues have become increasingly critical,necessitating the search for effective solutions.Catalysis,being one of the hallmarks of modern industry,offers a promising avenue for researchers.However,the question of how to significantly enhance the performance of catalysts has gradually drawn the attention of scholars.Defect engineering,a commonly employed and effective approach to improve catalyst activity,has become a significant research focus in the catalysis field in recent years.Nonmetal vacancies have received extensive attention due to their simple form.Consequently,exploration of metal vacancies has remained stagnant for a considerable period,resulting in a scarcity of comprehensive reviews on this topic.Therefore,based on the latest research findings,this paper summarizes and consolidates the construction strategies for metal vacancies,characterization techniques,and their roles in typical energy and environmental catalytic reactions.Additionally,it outlines potential challenges in the future,aiming to provide valuable references for researchers interested in investigating metal vacancies.

文摘With the rapid development of the marine economy,marine microbiologically influenced corrosion(MIC)has garnered increasing attention.However,most studies have not analyzed the MIC process over continuous and extended periods,failing to provide a comprehensive understanding of MIC mechanisms at different stages.In this study,the corrosion behavior of EH36 steel caused by Halomonas titanicae in an aerobic enriched seawater over a 30-d incubation period was investigated driven by big data.The results revealed that the corrosion by H.titanicae against EH36 steel evolved dynamically over time.During the initial stages,the aerobic respiration of H.titanicae consumed significant amounts of oxygen,which suppressed the cathodic oxygen reduction process,thereby inhibiting corrosion compared to the abiotic conditions.As time progressed,the accumulation of corrosion products slowed the abiotic corrosion,while the biotic corrosion accelerated due to a shift from aerobic to anaerobic respiration by H.titanicae,utilizing Fe0 and nitrate as electron donors and acceptors,respectively.The big data results are consistent with the weight loss and electrochemical data,demonstrating the reliability of using big data monitoring techniques to characterize microbial corrosion processes.

文摘Zinc-based alloys are promising biodegradable materials for application in the intestinal environment due to their appropriate degradation rates and favorable biocompatibility.However,the corrosion and degradation of biodegradable zinc alloys in the presence of intestinal microorganisms are seldom investigated.In this study,binary Zn-Mn alloys with 0.4 and 0.8 wt.%Mn content were fabricated using the extrusion process.The corrosion behaviors of pure zinc and Zn-Mn alloys with the existence of Lactobacillus acidophilus,a representative microorganism in the intestinal tract,were systematically investigated.In comparison to pure zinc,both Zn-Mn alloys exhibited enhanced strength and ductility.L.acidophilus significantly accelerated the corrosion of both pure zinc and Zn-Mn alloys by generating acidic agents.The presence of L.acidophilus increased the icorr values for pure zinc,Zn-0.4Mn,and Zn-0.8Mn from 68.7±9.9,33.9±2.3 and 17.1±0.1µA cm^(-2) to 253.5±26.7,167.6±8.7 and 30.6±2.2µA cm^(-2),respectively.The addition of Mn mitigated corrosion by refining grains and reducing the local surface potential difference.Compared to pure zinc,the surface potential difference of Zn-0.8Mn decreased from 31.8±1.7 mV to 11.8±0.9 mV.This study points out the existence of microbiologically influenced corrosion in the intestinal environment and emphasizes its importance in the comprehensive design of biodegradable zinc alloys.

文摘The large-scale exploitation of vanadium(Ⅴ) bearing minerals has led to a massive accumulation of Ⅴ tailings, of which Ⅴ pollution poses severe ecological risks. Although the mechanisms of Ⅴ stress to the microbial community have been reported, the influential pathways in a multi-medium-containing system, for example, the soil-tailings-groundwater system,are unknown. The dynamic redox conditions and substance exchange within the system exhibited complex Ⅴ stress on the local microbial communities. In this study, the influence pathways of Ⅴ stress to the microbial community in the soil-tailings-groundwater system were first investigated. High Ⅴ contents were observed in groundwater(139.2 ± 0.15 μg/L) and soil(98.0–323.8 ± 0.02 mg/kg), respectively. Distinct microbial composition was observed for soil and groundwater, where soil showed the highest level of diversity and richness. Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, Actinobacteria, and Acidobacteria were dominant in soil and groundwater with a sum relative abundance of around 80 %. Based on redundancy analysis and structural equation models, Ⅴ was one of the vital driving factors affecting microbial communities. Groundwater microbial communities were influenced by Ⅴ via Cr, dissolved oxygen, and total nitrogen, while Fe, Mn, and total phosphorus were the key mediators for Ⅴ to affect soil microbial communities. Ⅴ affected the microbial community via metabolic pathways related to carbonaceous matter, which was involved in the establishment of survival strategies for metal stress. This study provides novel insights into the influence pathways of Ⅴ on the microorganisms in tailings reservoir for pollution bioremediation.
