Against the backdrop of the high-quality development of vocational education,the construction of“double-qualified”teacher teams has shifted from focusing on quantity growth to emphasizing the improvement of“double-qualified”competencies.How to strengthen the quality-oriented construction of“double-qualified”teacher teams,give full play to the role of“double-qualified”teachers,promote the construction and teaching reform of tourism majors,and enhance the quality of tourism talent cultivation have become key issues faced by higher vocational tourism majors.Taking higher vocational tourism majors as an example,this paper analyzes the problems encountered in the construction of tourism-related“double-qualified”teacher teams,puts forward strategies for such construction,and explores the impact of building“double-qualified”teacher teams on the quality of talent cultivation in tourism majors.It aims to provide references for the coordinated improvement of the construction of“double-qualified”teacher teams and the quality of talent cultivation in higher vocational tourism majors. 展开更多

During the active process of reading, strategies involved will affect the process of reading comprehension, and the reader should intentionally regulate and control the reading process and adopt appropriate strategies to solve the problems during it. The purpose of this paper is to determine the use of metacognitive strategies in reading by the PE & Art majors through questionnaire. According to the result of the questionnaire, the PE & Art majors do use some metacognitive strategies in their reading, while nearly half of them do not often use metacognitive strategies in their reading. For this phenomenon, the author gives some constructive suggestions for the English majors about how to apply the metacognitive strategies in their reading: 1) preparing and planning in pre-reading; 2) monitoring and self-questioning in while-reading; 3) evaluating and adjusting in post-reading. 展开更多

This research investigated English learning strategy use by Non-English majors in Guangxi.Students’self-reports and questionnaires are conducted to collect data.The analysis finds that students have difficulty with long-term memory and internalization of words.The most frequently used strategies are some determination,memory and cognitive strategies.Social and metacognitive strategies are used less.The findings indicate that there are no great differences in the use of most strategies between groups of different proficient levels.Suggestions are provided to teachers based on the findings. 展开更多
