Background:The level of premature deaths(deaths among those aged 30-69 years)caused by cancer is an important indicator of evaluating the level of cancer prevention and control.However,the current burden and temporal ...Background:The level of premature deaths(deaths among those aged 30-69 years)caused by cancer is an important indicator of evaluating the level of cancer prevention and control.However,the current burden and temporal trends in cancer-related premature deaths,and their impact on life expectancy at the global,regional,and national levels are not clear.Methods:Cancer mortality data for 185 countries were obtained from the GLOBOCAN 2022 database.High-quality cancer mortality data and national population statistics for 47 countries were extracted from the United Nations and national cancer registry databases,covering the period 2003-2022.Countries were classified based on the human development index(HDI).The death probability,the year of life lost(YLL),and the potential gain in life expectancy(PGLE)attributable to premature deaths from site-specific and all-cancers combined were calculated.Results:Globally,the probability of premature cancer deaths was 6.49%(95%UI 6.49-6.50).The YLLs caused by cancer-related premature death were 163.86 million(95%UI 163.70-164.03),constituting 65.58%of the total cancer-related YLLs.The PGLEs were 1.16 years(95%UI 1.16-1.16).The premature death probability increased with higher HDI levels in men,but decreased in women.Cancer-related premature deaths as a proportion of total cancer deaths varied from 18.31%(95%UI 18.20-18.43)in Japan to 84.44%(95%UI 76.10-91.16)in São Toméand Príncipe.Lung cancer was the leading cause of cancer-related premature deaths in men,and breast cancer ranked first in women.By eradicating premature deaths attributable to lung,liver,colorectal,and stomach cancer in men,and to breast,cervical,and lung cancer in women,0.55 years(95%UI 0.55-0.55)and 0.49 years(95%UI 0.49-0.49)of PGLEs could be achieved,accounting for 48.67%and 42.24%of the total PGLEs,respectively.Cancer-related premature deaths decreased significantly in 38 countries during 2003-2022(P<0.05).The probability of premature cancer-related deaths decreased by more than 15.50%from 2015 to 2022 in 16 countries.Conclusions:Cancer-related premature deaths declined in many countries,with 16 of them having achieved the expected reduction by 2022.The current burden of cancer-related premature deaths is profound but varies around the world.Eliminating premature deaths from major cancer types could substantially increase life expectancy,underscoring the importance of prevention and treatment efforts for these cancers.展开更多

Hangers play a crucial role in transferring loads in suspension bridges,yet their condition often deteriorates faster than expected due to corrosion and fatigue effects.Premature hanger failure poses serious risks to ...Hangers play a crucial role in transferring loads in suspension bridges,yet their condition often deteriorates faster than expected due to corrosion and fatigue effects.Premature hanger failure poses serious risks to bridge safety and results in significant economic loss due to frequent replacement and traffic interruption.To address these challenges,this study proposes an integrated framework to evaluate the life-cycle safety and operational cost of bridge hangers.Traffic data obtained from Weigh-in-Motion(WIM)systems are used to simulate dynamic hanger responses.A wire-to-hanger deterioration model is then employed to capture the time-dependent interaction between corrosion and fatigue under varying environmental conditions.The failure probability of hangers is incorporated into a cost model that accounts for inspection,maintenance,replacement,and traffic disruptions associated with failure.A case study of the Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge is conducted based on its WIM data and inspection records.The simulation results showthat corrosion-fatigue interaction significantly accelerates hanger degradation.However,timely and effective maintenance measures including anchorage dehumidification can extend service life and reduce total operational costs.The proposed framework provides a practical tool for designing cost-effectivemaintenance strategies and improving the long-term performance of suspension bridge hangers.展开更多
BACKGROUND Anxiety,depression,and other negative emotions are common among patients with chronic renal failure(CRF).Analyzing the factors related to negative emotions is necessary to provide targeted nursing care.AIM ...BACKGROUND Anxiety,depression,and other negative emotions are common among patients with chronic renal failure(CRF).Analyzing the factors related to negative emotions is necessary to provide targeted nursing care.AIM To explore the correlations among life satisfaction,pleasure levels,and negative emotions in patients with CRF.METHODS One hundred patients with CRF who received therapy at the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University between December 2022 and February 2025 were included.The Depression,Anxiety,and Stress Scale(DASS-21),Satisfaction with Life Scale(SWLS),and Temporal Experience of Pleasure Scale(TEPS)were used to evaluate negative emotions,life satisfaction,and pleasure level,respectively.Pearson’s correlation coefficient analyzed the correlation between life satisfaction,pleasure level,and negative emotions.Linear regression analysis identified the factors affecting negative emotions.RESULTS The average DASS-21 score among patients with CRF was 51.90±2.30,with subscale scores of 17.90±1.50 for depression,18.53±1.18 for anxiety,and 15.47±2.36 for stress,all significantly higher than the domestic norm(P<0.05).The average SWLS score was 22.17±4.90.Correlation analysis revealed a negative correlation between the SWLS and total DASS-21 scores(P<0.05),but not with the individual depression,anxiety,or stress dimensions.The average TEPS score was 67.80±8.34.TEPS scores were negatively correlated with the DASS-21 score and the stress dimension(P<0.05),but not with depression or anxiety.Linear regression analysis showed that TEPS scores significantly influenced DASS-21 scores(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Patients with CRF experience high levels of negative emotions,which are negatively correlated with life satisfaction and pleasure.Furthermore,pleasure level had an impact on negative emotions.展开更多
Background:Self-esteem,life satisfaction,resilience,and coping strategies are closely linked to depression;however,their interrelationships and relative contributions to depressive outcomes remain insufficiently under...Background:Self-esteem,life satisfaction,resilience,and coping strategies are closely linked to depression;however,their interrelationships and relative contributions to depressive outcomes remain insufficiently understood.This study aimed to examine these associations in individuals with major depressive disorder(MDD)and healthy controls and to evaluate their predictive and mediating roles in depression.Methods:This analytical cross-sectional study included 311 participants(158 patients with MDD and 153 healthy controls)recruited from the Psychiatry Outpatient Clinics of Mugla Training and Research Hospital.Psychiatric diagnoses were confirmed using the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5(SCID-5).Groups were balanced for age,sex,and education using propensity score matching(PSM).Participants completed the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale,Satisfaction with Life Scale,Brief Resilience Scale,Brief COPE Inventory,and Beck Depression Inventory.Results:Compared with healthy controls,individuals with MDD reported significantly lower life satisfaction and resilience and higher depressive symptom severity,whereas self-esteem did not differ significantly between groups.Emotion-focused coping decreased with increasing depression severity,while avoidant coping showed a modest but significant increase in severe depression.Logistic regression analyses identified life satisfaction(OR=0.95,p=0.004)and resilience(OR=0.92,p=0.002)as significant protective predictors of depression.Mediation analyses demonstrated that life satisfaction partially mediated the relationship between self-esteem and depression,whereas resilience exerted a predominantly direct effect.Conclusion:Life satisfaction and resilience emerge as key protective factors against depression.Self-esteem appears to influence depressive outcomes indirectly through life satisfaction rather than through a direct effect.These findings underscore the importance of interventions that enhance resilience and promote positive evaluations of life in individuals at risk for depression.展开更多

Most failures in component operation occur due to cyclic loads.Validation has been performed under quasistatic loads,but the fatigue life of components under dynamic loads should be predicted to prevent failures durin...Most failures in component operation occur due to cyclic loads.Validation has been performed under quasistatic loads,but the fatigue life of components under dynamic loads should be predicted to prevent failures during component service life.Fatigue is a damage accumulation process where loads degrade the material,depending on the characteristics and number of repetitions of the load.Studies on themechanical fatigue of 3D-printedOnyx are limited.In this paper,the strength of 3D-printed Onyx components under dynamic conditions(repetitive loads)is estimated.Fatigue life prediction is influenced bymanufacturing processes,material properties,and applied loads,which can cause scatter in the results due to the interplay of these factors.By utilizing synthetic parameters derived from mechanical properties,the accuracy of fatigue life predictions has been improved significantly,from 23.13%to 98.33%.Additive manufacturing is flexible,but this flexibility generates scatter in the mechanical properties of produced components.This work also proposes the use of synthetic data with a neural network to improve the fatigue life prediction of printedOnyx subjected to tension–tension loads.Experimental uniaxial loads were used to characterize themechanical behaviorofprinted specimens.The experimental datawereused to evaluate thenumerical predictionsobtainedthrough finite element analysis using commercial software and an artificial neural network.The results showed that the use of synthetic data helped improve fatigue life prediction.展开更多

Objective:Heart failure(HF)is a complex clinical syndrome that affects nearly 64 million individuals globally.Frequent hospital readmissions lead to poor health outcomes,impact quality of life(QoL),and are associated ...Objective:Heart failure(HF)is a complex clinical syndrome that affects nearly 64 million individuals globally.Frequent hospital readmissions lead to poor health outcomes,impact quality of life(QoL),and are associated with high mortality rates.This study assessed readmissions,mortality,and QoL outcomes in patients with HF in a tertiary care hospital setting.Methods:Patients aged≥18 years with HF,who visited the tertiary care hospital in Karad,India were included in the study(November2019 to October 2021).Demographics,disease characteristics,and condition at discharge were recorded using the medical records of patients.The quantitative data included readmission rates and mortality rates.The qualitative aspects describing patients'QoL were assessed using a patient-reported 21-question QoL questionnaire.Results:A total of 98 patients,predominantly male(63.3%),with a mean age of 62.9 years were included.The majority of the patients(80.6%)required<15 days of hospitalization.The 2-year readmission rate was 24.4%,while the mortality rate was 43.9%.Self-care pattern showed that patients seemed to be taking mild to average care while taking good care was rare.The QoL data showed that 22.4% were living a good quality life,44.9% average,while 32.7% were living a low-quality life.Better education and better self-care were associated with a low rate of readmission.Conclusions:We were able to assess the incidence of readmission,mortality,and QoL in patients with HF in a tertiary care hospital setting.The study showed that HF impacts patients'physical,emotional,and psychological wellbeing.展开更多

Compared with traditional energy sources,wind power has a lower environmental impact.However,emissions are still generated across the life cycle of wind turbines,from production to recycling.As wind power rapidly deve...Compared with traditional energy sources,wind power has a lower environmental impact.However,emissions are still generated across the life cycle of wind turbines,from production to recycling.As wind power rapidly develops and deployment increases,these impacts are becoming increasingly evident.A comprehensive understanding of these impacts is crucial for sustainable development.Based on the harmonization of previous detailed life cycle assessment(LCA)studies,this study develops a simplified LCA model that estimates the life cycle environmental impacts of wind turbines based on their nominal power.Using this simplified LCA model,we assess the global warming potential(GWP),acidification potential(AP),and cumulative energy demand(CED)of wind power at the regional scale for 2022 and under three future scenarios(high-power wind turbine promotion,reduced wind curtailment,and a comprehensive development scenario).The results indicate that in 2022,the life cycle GWP,AP,and CED of wind power in western China were 10.76 g CO_(2) eq/kWh,0.177 g SO_(2) eq/kWh,and 17.6 kJ/kWh,respectively.Scenario simulations suggest that reducing wind curtailment is the most effective approach for reducing emissions in Inner Mongolia,Gansu,Qinghai,Ningxia,and Xinjiang,producing average decreases of 8.64%in GWP,8.39%in AP,and 9.26%in CED.In contrast,for Guangxi,Chongqing,Sichuan,Guizhou,Yunnan,Xizang,and Shaanxi,the promotion of high-power wind turbines provides greater environmental benefits than reducing curtailment,producing average decreases of 3.45%,3.09%,and 4.29%in GWP,AP,and CED,respectively.These findings help clarify the environmental impact of wind power across its life cycle at the regional scale and provide theoretical references for the direction of future wind power development and the formulation of related policies.展开更多

Accurately predicting fatigue life under multiaxial fatigue damage conditions is essential for ensuring the safety of critical components in service.However,due to the complexity of fatigue failure mechanisms,achievin...Accurately predicting fatigue life under multiaxial fatigue damage conditions is essential for ensuring the safety of critical components in service.However,due to the complexity of fatigue failure mechanisms,achieving accurate multiaxial fatigue life predictions remains challenging.Traditional multiaxial fatigue prediction models are often limited by specific material properties and loading conditions,making it difficult to maintain reliable life prediction results beyond these constraints.This paper presents a study on the impact of seven key feature quantities on multiaxial fatigue life,using Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN),Long Short-Term Memory Networks(LSTM),and Fully Connected Neural Networks(FCNN)within a deep learning framework.Fatigue test results from eight metal specimens were analyzed to identify these feature quantities,which were then extracted as critical time-series features.Using a CNN-LSTM network,these features were combined to form a feature matrix,which was subsequently input into an FCNN to predict metal fatigue life.A comparison of the fatigue life prediction results from the STFAN model with those from traditional prediction models—namely,the equivalent strain method,the maximum shear strain method,and the critical plane method—shows that the majority of predictions for the five metal materials and various loading conditions based on the STFAN model fall within an error band of 1.5 times.Additionally,all data points are within an error band of 2 times.These findings indicate that the STFAN model provides superior prediction accuracy compared to the traditional models,highlighting its broad applicability and high precision.展开更多

BACKGROUND Approximately 30%of patients with head and neck cancer experience adverse effects caused by anxiety and depression.Considering the high prevalence,implementing customized interventions to ease adverse emoti...BACKGROUND Approximately 30%of patients with head and neck cancer experience adverse effects caused by anxiety and depression.Considering the high prevalence,implementing customized interventions to ease adverse emotional states is imperative.AIM To evaluate the efficacy of cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT)-based psychological interventions in improving the psychological well-being and quality of life(QoL)of patients with laryngeal carcinoma.METHODS This study enrolled 120 patients admitted from February 2022 to February 2024.The control group,comprising 50 participants,received standard supportive psychological care,while the research group,consisting 70 participants,underwent CBT-based interventions.Several clinical outcomes were systematically assessed that included postoperative recovery metrics(duration of tracheostomy and nasogastric tube dependence and length of hospitalization),psychological status(Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Self-Rating Depression Scale),nutritional markers(serum albumin and hemoglobin levels),sleep quality(Self-Rating Scale of Sleep and Athens Insomnia Scale),and QoL(Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Head and Neck).RESULTS The results demonstrated that the research group experienced superior outcomes,with significantly reduced durations of tracheostomy and nasogastric tube dependence,as well as shorter hospital stays,compared with the control group.Additionally,the research group exhibited markedly lower post-intervention Self-Rating Anxiety Scale,Self-Rating Depression Scale,Self-Rating Scale of Sleep,and Athens Insomnia Scale scores,along with minimal but higher change in serum albumin and hemoglobin levels compared with the control group.All five domains of Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Head and Neck showed notable improvements in the research group,exceeding those observed in the control group.CONCLUSION CBT-based psychological support positively affects the mental well-being and QoL of patients with laryngeal carcinoma,highlighting its potential for broader clinical application.展开更多

文摘Background:The level of premature deaths(deaths among those aged 30-69 years)caused by cancer is an important indicator of evaluating the level of cancer prevention and control.However,the current burden and temporal trends in cancer-related premature deaths,and their impact on life expectancy at the global,regional,and national levels are not clear.Methods:Cancer mortality data for 185 countries were obtained from the GLOBOCAN 2022 database.High-quality cancer mortality data and national population statistics for 47 countries were extracted from the United Nations and national cancer registry databases,covering the period 2003-2022.Countries were classified based on the human development index(HDI).The death probability,the year of life lost(YLL),and the potential gain in life expectancy(PGLE)attributable to premature deaths from site-specific and all-cancers combined were calculated.Results:Globally,the probability of premature cancer deaths was 6.49%(95%UI 6.49-6.50).The YLLs caused by cancer-related premature death were 163.86 million(95%UI 163.70-164.03),constituting 65.58%of the total cancer-related YLLs.The PGLEs were 1.16 years(95%UI 1.16-1.16).The premature death probability increased with higher HDI levels in men,but decreased in women.Cancer-related premature deaths as a proportion of total cancer deaths varied from 18.31%(95%UI 18.20-18.43)in Japan to 84.44%(95%UI 76.10-91.16)in São Toméand Príncipe.Lung cancer was the leading cause of cancer-related premature deaths in men,and breast cancer ranked first in women.By eradicating premature deaths attributable to lung,liver,colorectal,and stomach cancer in men,and to breast,cervical,and lung cancer in women,0.55 years(95%UI 0.55-0.55)and 0.49 years(95%UI 0.49-0.49)of PGLEs could be achieved,accounting for 48.67%and 42.24%of the total PGLEs,respectively.Cancer-related premature deaths decreased significantly in 38 countries during 2003-2022(P<0.05).The probability of premature cancer-related deaths decreased by more than 15.50%from 2015 to 2022 in 16 countries.Conclusions:Cancer-related premature deaths declined in many countries,with 16 of them having achieved the expected reduction by 2022.The current burden of cancer-related premature deaths is profound but varies around the world.Eliminating premature deaths from major cancer types could substantially increase life expectancy,underscoring the importance of prevention and treatment efforts for these cancers.

文摘Hangers play a crucial role in transferring loads in suspension bridges,yet their condition often deteriorates faster than expected due to corrosion and fatigue effects.Premature hanger failure poses serious risks to bridge safety and results in significant economic loss due to frequent replacement and traffic interruption.To address these challenges,this study proposes an integrated framework to evaluate the life-cycle safety and operational cost of bridge hangers.Traffic data obtained from Weigh-in-Motion(WIM)systems are used to simulate dynamic hanger responses.A wire-to-hanger deterioration model is then employed to capture the time-dependent interaction between corrosion and fatigue under varying environmental conditions.The failure probability of hangers is incorporated into a cost model that accounts for inspection,maintenance,replacement,and traffic disruptions associated with failure.A case study of the Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge is conducted based on its WIM data and inspection records.The simulation results showthat corrosion-fatigue interaction significantly accelerates hanger degradation.However,timely and effective maintenance measures including anchorage dehumidification can extend service life and reduce total operational costs.The proposed framework provides a practical tool for designing cost-effectivemaintenance strategies and improving the long-term performance of suspension bridge hangers.
文摘BACKGROUND Anxiety,depression,and other negative emotions are common among patients with chronic renal failure(CRF).Analyzing the factors related to negative emotions is necessary to provide targeted nursing care.AIM To explore the correlations among life satisfaction,pleasure levels,and negative emotions in patients with CRF.METHODS One hundred patients with CRF who received therapy at the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University between December 2022 and February 2025 were included.The Depression,Anxiety,and Stress Scale(DASS-21),Satisfaction with Life Scale(SWLS),and Temporal Experience of Pleasure Scale(TEPS)were used to evaluate negative emotions,life satisfaction,and pleasure level,respectively.Pearson’s correlation coefficient analyzed the correlation between life satisfaction,pleasure level,and negative emotions.Linear regression analysis identified the factors affecting negative emotions.RESULTS The average DASS-21 score among patients with CRF was 51.90±2.30,with subscale scores of 17.90±1.50 for depression,18.53±1.18 for anxiety,and 15.47±2.36 for stress,all significantly higher than the domestic norm(P<0.05).The average SWLS score was 22.17±4.90.Correlation analysis revealed a negative correlation between the SWLS and total DASS-21 scores(P<0.05),but not with the individual depression,anxiety,or stress dimensions.The average TEPS score was 67.80±8.34.TEPS scores were negatively correlated with the DASS-21 score and the stress dimension(P<0.05),but not with depression or anxiety.Linear regression analysis showed that TEPS scores significantly influenced DASS-21 scores(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Patients with CRF experience high levels of negative emotions,which are negatively correlated with life satisfaction and pleasure.Furthermore,pleasure level had an impact on negative emotions.
文摘Background:Self-esteem,life satisfaction,resilience,and coping strategies are closely linked to depression;however,their interrelationships and relative contributions to depressive outcomes remain insufficiently understood.This study aimed to examine these associations in individuals with major depressive disorder(MDD)and healthy controls and to evaluate their predictive and mediating roles in depression.Methods:This analytical cross-sectional study included 311 participants(158 patients with MDD and 153 healthy controls)recruited from the Psychiatry Outpatient Clinics of Mugla Training and Research Hospital.Psychiatric diagnoses were confirmed using the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5(SCID-5).Groups were balanced for age,sex,and education using propensity score matching(PSM).Participants completed the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale,Satisfaction with Life Scale,Brief Resilience Scale,Brief COPE Inventory,and Beck Depression Inventory.Results:Compared with healthy controls,individuals with MDD reported significantly lower life satisfaction and resilience and higher depressive symptom severity,whereas self-esteem did not differ significantly between groups.Emotion-focused coping decreased with increasing depression severity,while avoidant coping showed a modest but significant increase in severe depression.Logistic regression analyses identified life satisfaction(OR=0.95,p=0.004)and resilience(OR=0.92,p=0.002)as significant protective predictors of depression.Mediation analyses demonstrated that life satisfaction partially mediated the relationship between self-esteem and depression,whereas resilience exerted a predominantly direct effect.Conclusion:Life satisfaction and resilience emerge as key protective factors against depression.Self-esteem appears to influence depressive outcomes indirectly through life satisfaction rather than through a direct effect.These findings underscore the importance of interventions that enhance resilience and promote positive evaluations of life in individuals at risk for depression.

文摘Most failures in component operation occur due to cyclic loads.Validation has been performed under quasistatic loads,but the fatigue life of components under dynamic loads should be predicted to prevent failures during component service life.Fatigue is a damage accumulation process where loads degrade the material,depending on the characteristics and number of repetitions of the load.Studies on themechanical fatigue of 3D-printedOnyx are limited.In this paper,the strength of 3D-printed Onyx components under dynamic conditions(repetitive loads)is estimated.Fatigue life prediction is influenced bymanufacturing processes,material properties,and applied loads,which can cause scatter in the results due to the interplay of these factors.By utilizing synthetic parameters derived from mechanical properties,the accuracy of fatigue life predictions has been improved significantly,from 23.13%to 98.33%.Additive manufacturing is flexible,but this flexibility generates scatter in the mechanical properties of produced components.This work also proposes the use of synthetic data with a neural network to improve the fatigue life prediction of printedOnyx subjected to tension–tension loads.Experimental uniaxial loads were used to characterize themechanical behaviorofprinted specimens.The experimental datawereused to evaluate thenumerical predictionsobtainedthrough finite element analysis using commercial software and an artificial neural network.The results showed that the use of synthetic data helped improve fatigue life prediction.

文摘Deep learning and fatigue life prediction remain focal research areas in rail vehicle engineering.This study addresses the vibration fatigue of wheelset lifting lug in Chengdu Metro Line 1 bogies,aiming to develop a fatigue life prediction method for critical bogie components using deep learning models and measured track load spectra.Extensive field tests on Chengdu Metro Line 1 were conducted to acquire acceleration and stress response data of the wheelset lifting lug,generating training samples for the neural network system.Component stress responses were calculated via time-domain track acceleration and validated against in-situ stress measurements.Results show that neural network-fitted dynamic stress values exhibit excellent consistency with measured data,with errors constrained within 5%.This study validates the proposed small-sample deep learning approach as an effective and accurate solution for fatigue life prediction of critical bogie components under operational load conditions.

文摘Objective:Heart failure(HF)is a complex clinical syndrome that affects nearly 64 million individuals globally.Frequent hospital readmissions lead to poor health outcomes,impact quality of life(QoL),and are associated with high mortality rates.This study assessed readmissions,mortality,and QoL outcomes in patients with HF in a tertiary care hospital setting.Methods:Patients aged≥18 years with HF,who visited the tertiary care hospital in Karad,India were included in the study(November2019 to October 2021).Demographics,disease characteristics,and condition at discharge were recorded using the medical records of patients.The quantitative data included readmission rates and mortality rates.The qualitative aspects describing patients'QoL were assessed using a patient-reported 21-question QoL questionnaire.Results:A total of 98 patients,predominantly male(63.3%),with a mean age of 62.9 years were included.The majority of the patients(80.6%)required<15 days of hospitalization.The 2-year readmission rate was 24.4%,while the mortality rate was 43.9%.Self-care pattern showed that patients seemed to be taking mild to average care while taking good care was rare.The QoL data showed that 22.4% were living a good quality life,44.9% average,while 32.7% were living a low-quality life.Better education and better self-care were associated with a low rate of readmission.Conclusions:We were able to assess the incidence of readmission,mortality,and QoL in patients with HF in a tertiary care hospital setting.The study showed that HF impacts patients'physical,emotional,and psychological wellbeing.

文摘Under complex working conditions,accurate prediction of the remaining useful life(RUL)of lithium-ion batteries is of great significance to ensure the stable operation of energy storage systems,the safe driving of electric vehicles,and the continuous power supply of electronic devices.This paper systematically describes the RUL prediction methods of lithium-ion batteries and comprehensively summarizes the development status and future trends in this field.First,the battery degradation mechanisms and lightweight data acquisition are analyzed.Secondly,a systematic classification model is constructed for the more widely used lithium battery RUL prediction methods,and the application characteristics and implementation limitations of different methods are analyzed in detail.An innovative classification framework for hybrid methods is proposed based on the depth of physical-data interaction.Then,collaborative modelling of calendar ageing and cyclic ageing is discussed,revealing their coupled effects and corresponding RUL prediction methods.Finally,the technical bottlenecks faced by the current RUL prediction of lithium batteries are identified,potential solutions are proposed,and the future development trends are outlined.

文摘Compared with traditional energy sources,wind power has a lower environmental impact.However,emissions are still generated across the life cycle of wind turbines,from production to recycling.As wind power rapidly develops and deployment increases,these impacts are becoming increasingly evident.A comprehensive understanding of these impacts is crucial for sustainable development.Based on the harmonization of previous detailed life cycle assessment(LCA)studies,this study develops a simplified LCA model that estimates the life cycle environmental impacts of wind turbines based on their nominal power.Using this simplified LCA model,we assess the global warming potential(GWP),acidification potential(AP),and cumulative energy demand(CED)of wind power at the regional scale for 2022 and under three future scenarios(high-power wind turbine promotion,reduced wind curtailment,and a comprehensive development scenario).The results indicate that in 2022,the life cycle GWP,AP,and CED of wind power in western China were 10.76 g CO_(2) eq/kWh,0.177 g SO_(2) eq/kWh,and 17.6 kJ/kWh,respectively.Scenario simulations suggest that reducing wind curtailment is the most effective approach for reducing emissions in Inner Mongolia,Gansu,Qinghai,Ningxia,and Xinjiang,producing average decreases of 8.64%in GWP,8.39%in AP,and 9.26%in CED.In contrast,for Guangxi,Chongqing,Sichuan,Guizhou,Yunnan,Xizang,and Shaanxi,the promotion of high-power wind turbines provides greater environmental benefits than reducing curtailment,producing average decreases of 3.45%,3.09%,and 4.29%in GWP,AP,and CED,respectively.These findings help clarify the environmental impact of wind power across its life cycle at the regional scale and provide theoretical references for the direction of future wind power development and the formulation of related policies.

文摘Background:Based on a profound awareness of crisis sense,Huai Nan-zi warns people of the importance of being prepared for danger in times of peace by using the principle that Heaven and Earth are ever-changing and never-ending.It also consciously constructs a cosmic life view of the organic,homologous,isomorphic,and harmonious unity of heaven,earth,and man based on human existence and destiny with a rational thinking attitude.The life philosophy of the Huai Nan-zi offers modern people a completely new holistic view of life and medicine.Not only in China,but also in Western countries,studying its medical philosophical ideas helps us better explore the theoretical roots of TCM in the era of globalized medicine.Methods:This paper mainly uses the analysis method of literature review and chinese philosophy intellectual concepts.It employs the I Ching’s image-number logic thinking method to compare images through analogy and the holistic thinking method of the three-talent view of heaven,earth,and human to understand life consciousness.Results:This article mainly interprets medical philosophy in Huai Nan-zi through three aspects:1)The body of Taoism:heaven,earth,and humanity constitute one unity within the body of the universe;2)The spirit of Taoism:keeping the spirit inward,preserving the essence and suppressing the superficial;and 3)The mind of Taoism:the principle of life governed by the dynamics of gain and loss,prosperity and decline.Conclusion:The philosophy of life presented in the Huai Nan-zi ultimately charts a course toward a state of profound theoretical integration.Its“conscious map”does not lead to a fixed destination,but to a continuous and dynamic mode of being–a life of flourishing known in Chinese as yang sheng,the nurturing of life.The destination,therefore,is the journey itself,undertaken with unwavering cosmic awareness and harmony.This ancient text reminds us that a truly healthy life is not a fragmented pursuit of physical fitness,mental peace,or spiritual insight in isolation.Instead,it is the symphony of all three(Taoist body,spirit,and mind),orchestrated by the fundamental principles of the cosmos.By aligning our inner nature with the outer Tao,we transform our existence from a series of reactive struggles into a graceful and spontaneous free flow.In a modern world characterized by fragmentation,overstimulation,and a relentless push against natural rhythms,the Huai Nan-zi’s life consciousness map is more relevant than ever.The philosophy of Huai Nan-zi not only plays a vital role in the construction of the theoretical system of TCM in ancient East life wisdom,but also is worthwhile for Western life sciences to conduct in-depth exploration and discovery in the age of AI.

文摘Accurately predicting fatigue life under multiaxial fatigue damage conditions is essential for ensuring the safety of critical components in service.However,due to the complexity of fatigue failure mechanisms,achieving accurate multiaxial fatigue life predictions remains challenging.Traditional multiaxial fatigue prediction models are often limited by specific material properties and loading conditions,making it difficult to maintain reliable life prediction results beyond these constraints.This paper presents a study on the impact of seven key feature quantities on multiaxial fatigue life,using Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN),Long Short-Term Memory Networks(LSTM),and Fully Connected Neural Networks(FCNN)within a deep learning framework.Fatigue test results from eight metal specimens were analyzed to identify these feature quantities,which were then extracted as critical time-series features.Using a CNN-LSTM network,these features were combined to form a feature matrix,which was subsequently input into an FCNN to predict metal fatigue life.A comparison of the fatigue life prediction results from the STFAN model with those from traditional prediction models—namely,the equivalent strain method,the maximum shear strain method,and the critical plane method—shows that the majority of predictions for the five metal materials and various loading conditions based on the STFAN model fall within an error band of 1.5 times.Additionally,all data points are within an error band of 2 times.These findings indicate that the STFAN model provides superior prediction accuracy compared to the traditional models,highlighting its broad applicability and high precision.

文摘BACKGROUND Approximately 30%of patients with head and neck cancer experience adverse effects caused by anxiety and depression.Considering the high prevalence,implementing customized interventions to ease adverse emotional states is imperative.AIM To evaluate the efficacy of cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT)-based psychological interventions in improving the psychological well-being and quality of life(QoL)of patients with laryngeal carcinoma.METHODS This study enrolled 120 patients admitted from February 2022 to February 2024.The control group,comprising 50 participants,received standard supportive psychological care,while the research group,consisting 70 participants,underwent CBT-based interventions.Several clinical outcomes were systematically assessed that included postoperative recovery metrics(duration of tracheostomy and nasogastric tube dependence and length of hospitalization),psychological status(Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Self-Rating Depression Scale),nutritional markers(serum albumin and hemoglobin levels),sleep quality(Self-Rating Scale of Sleep and Athens Insomnia Scale),and QoL(Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Head and Neck).RESULTS The results demonstrated that the research group experienced superior outcomes,with significantly reduced durations of tracheostomy and nasogastric tube dependence,as well as shorter hospital stays,compared with the control group.Additionally,the research group exhibited markedly lower post-intervention Self-Rating Anxiety Scale,Self-Rating Depression Scale,Self-Rating Scale of Sleep,and Athens Insomnia Scale scores,along with minimal but higher change in serum albumin and hemoglobin levels compared with the control group.All five domains of Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Head and Neck showed notable improvements in the research group,exceeding those observed in the control group.CONCLUSION CBT-based psychological support positively affects the mental well-being and QoL of patients with laryngeal carcinoma,highlighting its potential for broader clinical application.
