Chinese Wine Culture influences people’s attitudes toward alcohol.The current study focuses on exploring the main features of a localized digital alcohol consumption intervention mini-program to address the difficult...Chinese Wine Culture influences people’s attitudes toward alcohol.The current study focuses on exploring the main features of a localized digital alcohol consumption intervention mini-program to address the difficulties of abstinence for native drinkers,as a promising way for long-term management of rehabilitation from alcohol use disorder.A mixed-method approach was used in this study.The self-report quantitative questionnaire recruited three groups of participants:89 drinkers,67 drinkers’relatives,and 30 medical staff.The focus group qualitative interview inspected 36 participants’perspectives on the core topics,including 21 drinkers,4 drinkers’relatives,and 11 medical staff.The results of combining the quantitative study and qualitative study indicated that the top difficulties of abstinence for native drinkers are the strong craving from the inside,the environmental influence,and the psychological health status,especially emotional states.Correspondingly,the most desired main features in an alcohol consumption digital intervention tool are the daily track of drinking conditions and craving level,periodic feedback reports that can share with others,and mood improvement training.Moreover,the top factors that influence participants’intention to use/recommend the tool are whether the tool is effective,whether the user experience is good,and whether the tool can replenish the deficiency of the current alcohol treatment.Future work needs to balance what patients want and what others around them expect,so that potential users can benefit best from the digital intervention tool in the context of Chinese culture.展开更多
BACKGROUND The development of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is influenced by multiple factors.Interventional therapy offers an effective treatment option for patients with unresectable intermediate-to-advanced HCC.Inte...BACKGROUND The development of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is influenced by multiple factors.Interventional therapy offers an effective treatment option for patients with unresectable intermediate-to-advanced HCC.Interventional therapy can induce electrocardiographic(ECG)abnormalities that may be associated with liver dysfunction,electrolyte disorders,and cardiac injury.AIM To explore the ECG alterations and determinants following interventional therapy in patients with HCC.METHODS Sixty patients undergoing interventional treatment for liver cancer were selected as study participants.According to the results of the dynamic ECG examination 1 day after surgery,the patients were divided into an abnormal group(n=21)and a nonabnormal group(n=39).With the help of dynamic ECG examination,the ECG parameters were compared and the baseline data of patients was recorded in the two groups.RESULTS The 24 hours QT interval variability,24 hours normal atrial polarization to ventricular polarization(R-R)interval(standard deviation),24 hours consecutive 5 minutes normal R-R interval,and 24 hours continuous 5 minutes normal R-R interval(standard deviation mean)were lower than patients in the nonabnormal group(P<0.05).The logistic analysis showed that age>60 years,liver function grade B,and postoperative body temperature 38°C were risk factors for abnormal dynamic electrocardiogram in patients with liver cancer intervention(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Interventional therapy for HCC can lead to ECG abnormalities,underscoring the clinical need for enhanced cardiac monitoring to mitigate myocardial complications.展开更多

Ocean energy has progressively gained considerable interest due to its sufficient potential to meet the world’s energy demand,and the blade is the core component in electricity generation from the ocean current.Howev...Ocean energy has progressively gained considerable interest due to its sufficient potential to meet the world’s energy demand,and the blade is the core component in electricity generation from the ocean current.However,the widened hydraulic excitation frequency may satisfy the blade resonance due to the time variation in the velocity and angle of attack of the ocean current,even resulting in blade fatigue and destructively interfering with grid stability.A key parameter that determines the resonance amplitude of the blade is the hydrodynamic damping ratio(HDR).However,HDR is difficult to obtain due to the complex fluid-structure interaction(FSI).Therefore,a literature review was conducted on the hydrodynamic damping characteristics of blade-like structures.The experimental and simulation methods used to identify and obtain the HDR quantitatively were described,placing emphasis on the experimental processes and simulation setups.Moreover,the accuracy and efficiency of different simulation methods were compared,and the modal work approach was recommended.The effects of key typical parameters,including flow velocity,angle of attack,gap,rotational speed,and cavitation,on the HDR were then summarized,and the suggestions on operating conditions were presented from the perspective of increasing the HDR.Subsequently,considering multiple flow parameters,several theoretical derivations and semi-empirical prediction formulas for HDR were introduced,and the accuracy and application were discussed.Based on the shortcomings of the existing research,the direction of future research was finally determined.The current work offers a clear understanding of the HDR of blade-like structures,which could improve the evaluation accuracy of flow-induced vibration in the design stage.展开更多
Objective:To analyze the effect of interventional nursing on the therapeutic effect,negative emotion and quality of life of patients undergoing cardiovascular and cerebrovascular interventional therapy.Methods:Eighty-...Objective:To analyze the effect of interventional nursing on the therapeutic effect,negative emotion and quality of life of patients undergoing cardiovascular and cerebrovascular interventional therapy.Methods:Eighty-four patients who received cardio-cerebral vascular interventional therapy in a hospital during January 2024–December 2024 were selected,and were divided into the control group and the observation group by the mean score method,each with 42 cases.The control group was given standardized perioperative care,and the observation group was given interventional nursing intervention on this basis.The two groups were compared in terms of clinical efficacy,negative emotion score,incidence of related complications,quality of life score and nursing satisfaction.Results:The total effective rate of treatment of patients in the observation group(95.24%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(78.57%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);before nursing care,the difference between SDS and SAS scores of patients in the two groups was insignificant(P>0.05);after nursing care,the scores of various indexes of the two groups were significantly reduced and the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the patients in the observation group had more negative moods than those in the control group;the complication rate of patients in the observation group(2.38%)was significantly lower than that of the control group(19.04%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the quality of life scores of patients in the observation group were higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the satisfaction rate of patients’nursing care in the observation group was 97.62%,which was higher than that of the control group(78.57%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of interventional nursing intervention for patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular interventional therapy can further enhance the clinical therapeutic effect,improve the negative emotions of patients’anxiety and depression,reduce the risk of related complications,improve the quality of life of patients,and obtain higher satisfaction.展开更多
BACKGROUND Although transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)is an effective treatment for liver cancer,clinical practice has shown that many patients experience significant psychological distress following the procedure,...BACKGROUND Although transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)is an effective treatment for liver cancer,clinical practice has shown that many patients experience significant psychological distress following the procedure,which can hinder postoperative recovery and prognosis.Therefore,effective and evidence-based interventions are urgently needed to address this issue.AIM To evaluate the impact of nursing quality-sensitive indicators combined with mindfulness-based stress reduction(MBSR)interventions in patients undergoing TACE.METHODS A total of 84 patients who underwent TACE from June 2022 to March 2024 were enrolled in the study.They were randomly assigned to either the observation group(n=42),which received nursing quality-sensitive indicator-based care combined with MBSR intervention,or the control group(n=42),which received routine care combined with MBSR intervention.Psychological stress response levels[assessed using the Trait Meta-Mood Scale(TMMS)],coping strategies[measured with the Jalowiec Coping Scale(JCS)],quality of care[evaluated using the Perceived Nursing Service Quality(PNSQ)scale],and overall patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups.RESULTS After 4 weeks,the observation group demonstrated significantly higher TMMS scores,as well as increased optimism,support-seeking,bravery,PNSQ scores,and satisfaction(P<0.05).In contrast,scores for selfdependence,conservatism,resignation,and avoidance in the JCS were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The combination of nursing quality-sensitive indicators and MBSR intervention in TACE patients not only reduces psychological stress and encourages a more positive attitude toward illness but also enhances nursing quality and improves the overall patient experience.展开更多

In this work, we have made a comprehensive evaluation of the performances of existingtop RNA secondary structure prediction methods, including five deep-learning (DL) based methods and five minimum freeenergy (MFE) based methods. First, we made a brief overview of these RNA secondary structure prediction methods.Afterwards, we built two rigorous test datasets consisting of RNAs with non-redundant sequences and comprehensivelyexamined the performances of the RNA secondary structure prediction methods through classifying the RNAs into differentlength ranges and different types. Our examination shows that the DL-based methods generally perform better thanthe MFE-based methods for RNAs with long lengths and complex structures, while the MFE-based methods can achievegood performance for small RNAs and some specialized MFE-based methods can achieve good prediction accuracy forpseudoknots. The Weibull distribution and wind speed extrapolation methods are powerful mathematical tools for efficiently predicting the frequency distribution of wind speeds at a site. Hourly wind speed and direction data were collected from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) website for the period 2013 to 2023. MATLAB software was used to calculate the distribution parameters using the graphical method and to plot the corresponding curves, while WRPLOTView software was used to construct the wind rose. The average wind speed obtained is 3.33 m/s and can reach up to 5.71 m/s at a height of 100 meters. The wind energy is estimated to be 1315.30 kWh/m2 at a height of 100 meters. The wind rose indicates the prevailing winds (ranging from 3.60 m/s to 5.70 m/s) in the northeast-east direction.展开更多

Purpose–For the commonly used concrete mix for railway tunnel linings,concrete model specimens were made,and springback and core drilling tests were conducted at different ages.The springback strength was measured to...Purpose–For the commonly used concrete mix for railway tunnel linings,concrete model specimens were made,and springback and core drilling tests were conducted at different ages.The springback strength was measured to the compressive strength of the core sample with a diameter of 100mm and a height-to-diameter ratio of 1:1.By comparing the measured strength values,the relationship between the measured values under different strength measurement methods was analyzed.Design/methodology/approach–A comparative test of the core drilling method and the rebound method was conducted on the side walls of tunnel linings in some under-construction railways to study the feasibility of the rebound method in engineering quality supervision and inspection.Findings–Tests showed that the rebound strength was positively correlated with the core drill strength.The core drill test strength was significantly higher than the rebound test strength,and the strength still increased after 56 days of age.The rebound method is suitable for the general survey of concrete strength during the construction process and is not suitable for direct supervision and inspection.Originality/value–By studying the correlation of test strength of tunnel lining concrete using two methods,the differences in test results of different methods are proposed to provide a reference for the test and evaluation of tunnel lining strength in railway engineering.展开更多

文摘BACKGROUND The development of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is influenced by multiple factors.Interventional therapy offers an effective treatment option for patients with unresectable intermediate-to-advanced HCC.Interventional therapy can induce electrocardiographic(ECG)abnormalities that may be associated with liver dysfunction,electrolyte disorders,and cardiac injury.AIM To explore the ECG alterations and determinants following interventional therapy in patients with HCC.METHODS Sixty patients undergoing interventional treatment for liver cancer were selected as study participants.According to the results of the dynamic ECG examination 1 day after surgery,the patients were divided into an abnormal group(n=21)and a nonabnormal group(n=39).With the help of dynamic ECG examination,the ECG parameters were compared and the baseline data of patients was recorded in the two groups.RESULTS The 24 hours QT interval variability,24 hours normal atrial polarization to ventricular polarization(R-R)interval(standard deviation),24 hours consecutive 5 minutes normal R-R interval,and 24 hours continuous 5 minutes normal R-R interval(standard deviation mean)were lower than patients in the nonabnormal group(P<0.05).The logistic analysis showed that age>60 years,liver function grade B,and postoperative body temperature 38°C were risk factors for abnormal dynamic electrocardiogram in patients with liver cancer intervention(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Interventional therapy for HCC can lead to ECG abnormalities,underscoring the clinical need for enhanced cardiac monitoring to mitigate myocardial complications.

文摘The separation-of-variable(SOV)methods,such as the improved SOV method,the variational SOV method,and the extended SOV method,have been proposed by the present authors and coworkers to obtain the closed-form analytical solutions for free vibration and eigenbuckling of rectangular plates and circular cylindrical shells.By taking the free vibration of rectangular thin plates as an example,this work presents the theoretical framework of the SOV methods in an instructive way,and the bisection–based solution procedures for a group of nonlinear eigenvalue equations.Besides,the explicit equations of nodal lines of the SOV methods are presented,and the relations of nodal line patterns and frequency orders are investigated.It is concluded that the highly accurate SOV methods have the same accuracy for all frequencies,the mode shapes about repeated frequencies can also be precisely captured,and the SOV methods do not have the problem of missing roots as well.

文摘Soil improvement is one of the most important issues in geotechnical engineering practice.The wide application of traditional improvement techniques(cement/chemical materials)are limited due to damage ecological en-vironment and intensify carbon emissions.However,the use of microbially induced calcium carbonate pre-cipitation(MICP)to obtain bio-cement is a novel technique with the potential to induce soil stability,providing a low-carbon,environment-friendly,and sustainable integrated solution for some geotechnical engineering pro-blems in the environment.This paper presents a comprehensive review of the latest progress in soil improvement based on the MICP strategy.It systematically summarizes and overviews the mineralization mechanism,influ-encing factors,improved methods,engineering characteristics,and current field application status of the MICP.Additionally,it also explores the limitations and correspondingly proposes prospective applications via the MICP approach for soil improvement.This review indicates that the utilization of different environmental calcium-based wastes in MICP and combination of materials and MICP are conducive to meeting engineering and market demand.Furthermore,we recommend and encourage global collaborative study and practice with a view to commercializing MICP technique in the future.The current review purports to provide insights for engineers and interdisciplinary researchers,and guidance for future engineering applications.

文摘Ocean energy has progressively gained considerable interest due to its sufficient potential to meet the world’s energy demand,and the blade is the core component in electricity generation from the ocean current.However,the widened hydraulic excitation frequency may satisfy the blade resonance due to the time variation in the velocity and angle of attack of the ocean current,even resulting in blade fatigue and destructively interfering with grid stability.A key parameter that determines the resonance amplitude of the blade is the hydrodynamic damping ratio(HDR).However,HDR is difficult to obtain due to the complex fluid-structure interaction(FSI).Therefore,a literature review was conducted on the hydrodynamic damping characteristics of blade-like structures.The experimental and simulation methods used to identify and obtain the HDR quantitatively were described,placing emphasis on the experimental processes and simulation setups.Moreover,the accuracy and efficiency of different simulation methods were compared,and the modal work approach was recommended.The effects of key typical parameters,including flow velocity,angle of attack,gap,rotational speed,and cavitation,on the HDR were then summarized,and the suggestions on operating conditions were presented from the perspective of increasing the HDR.Subsequently,considering multiple flow parameters,several theoretical derivations and semi-empirical prediction formulas for HDR were introduced,and the accuracy and application were discussed.Based on the shortcomings of the existing research,the direction of future research was finally determined.The current work offers a clear understanding of the HDR of blade-like structures,which could improve the evaluation accuracy of flow-induced vibration in the design stage.
文摘Objective:To analyze the effect of interventional nursing on the therapeutic effect,negative emotion and quality of life of patients undergoing cardiovascular and cerebrovascular interventional therapy.Methods:Eighty-four patients who received cardio-cerebral vascular interventional therapy in a hospital during January 2024–December 2024 were selected,and were divided into the control group and the observation group by the mean score method,each with 42 cases.The control group was given standardized perioperative care,and the observation group was given interventional nursing intervention on this basis.The two groups were compared in terms of clinical efficacy,negative emotion score,incidence of related complications,quality of life score and nursing satisfaction.Results:The total effective rate of treatment of patients in the observation group(95.24%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(78.57%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);before nursing care,the difference between SDS and SAS scores of patients in the two groups was insignificant(P>0.05);after nursing care,the scores of various indexes of the two groups were significantly reduced and the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the patients in the observation group had more negative moods than those in the control group;the complication rate of patients in the observation group(2.38%)was significantly lower than that of the control group(19.04%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the quality of life scores of patients in the observation group were higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the satisfaction rate of patients’nursing care in the observation group was 97.62%,which was higher than that of the control group(78.57%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of interventional nursing intervention for patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular interventional therapy can further enhance the clinical therapeutic effect,improve the negative emotions of patients’anxiety and depression,reduce the risk of related complications,improve the quality of life of patients,and obtain higher satisfaction.
文摘BACKGROUND Although transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)is an effective treatment for liver cancer,clinical practice has shown that many patients experience significant psychological distress following the procedure,which can hinder postoperative recovery and prognosis.Therefore,effective and evidence-based interventions are urgently needed to address this issue.AIM To evaluate the impact of nursing quality-sensitive indicators combined with mindfulness-based stress reduction(MBSR)interventions in patients undergoing TACE.METHODS A total of 84 patients who underwent TACE from June 2022 to March 2024 were enrolled in the study.They were randomly assigned to either the observation group(n=42),which received nursing quality-sensitive indicator-based care combined with MBSR intervention,or the control group(n=42),which received routine care combined with MBSR intervention.Psychological stress response levels[assessed using the Trait Meta-Mood Scale(TMMS)],coping strategies[measured with the Jalowiec Coping Scale(JCS)],quality of care[evaluated using the Perceived Nursing Service Quality(PNSQ)scale],and overall patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups.RESULTS After 4 weeks,the observation group demonstrated significantly higher TMMS scores,as well as increased optimism,support-seeking,bravery,PNSQ scores,and satisfaction(P<0.05).In contrast,scores for selfdependence,conservatism,resignation,and avoidance in the JCS were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The combination of nursing quality-sensitive indicators and MBSR intervention in TACE patients not only reduces psychological stress and encourages a more positive attitude toward illness but also enhances nursing quality and improves the overall patient experience.

文摘RNAs have important biological functions and the functions of RNAs are generally coupled to their structures, especiallytheir secondary structures. In this work, we have made a comprehensive evaluation of the performances of existingtop RNA secondary structure prediction methods, including five deep-learning (DL) based methods and five minimum freeenergy (MFE) based methods. First, we made a brief overview of these RNA secondary structure prediction methods.Afterwards, we built two rigorous test datasets consisting of RNAs with non-redundant sequences and comprehensivelyexamined the performances of the RNA secondary structure prediction methods through classifying the RNAs into differentlength ranges and different types. Our examination shows that the DL-based methods generally perform better thanthe MFE-based methods for RNAs with long lengths and complex structures, while the MFE-based methods can achievegood performance for small RNAs and some specialized MFE-based methods can achieve good prediction accuracy forpseudoknots. Finally, we provided some insights and perspectives in modeling RNA secondary structures.
文摘Understanding the wind power potential of a site is essential for designing an optimal wind power conditioning system. The Weibull distribution and wind speed extrapolation methods are powerful mathematical tools for efficiently predicting the frequency distribution of wind speeds at a site. Hourly wind speed and direction data were collected from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) website for the period 2013 to 2023. MATLAB software was used to calculate the distribution parameters using the graphical method and to plot the corresponding curves, while WRPLOTView software was used to construct the wind rose. The average wind speed obtained is 3.33 m/s and can reach up to 5.71 m/s at a height of 100 meters. The wind energy is estimated to be 1315.30 kWh/m2 at a height of 100 meters. The wind rose indicates the prevailing winds (ranging from 3.60 m/s to 5.70 m/s) in the northeast-east direction.

文摘Placenta abnormalities,which are collectively termed as placenta accreta spec-trum(PAS),are increasing globally in the female population due to the large nu-mber of cesarean sections performed worldwide.PAS represents a rare but life-threatening occurrence that can lead to an increased risk of postpartum hemorr-hage due to the abnormal infiltration of the chorionic villi in the uterine wall up to the adjacent structures.Performing a prophylactic occlusion of the iliac arteries for a brief amount of time using balloon-occlusion endovascular catheters in patients with PAS can help control unwanted blood losses during cesarean delivery or postpartum demolition surgery.The aim of this narrative minireview was to pro-vide an overview of the aspects about prophylactic occlusion with endovascular balloons in patients with PAS and to analyze current evidence on this topic.In particular,this minireview included an overview of indications,patient selection,type of materials and devices used,technical advice and suggestions,clinical outcomes,and complications to give every interventional radiologist as well as every gynecologist and midwife all the information that is needed to address this particular condition in a safe and prompt manner.
文摘Purpose–For the commonly used concrete mix for railway tunnel linings,concrete model specimens were made,and springback and core drilling tests were conducted at different ages.The springback strength was measured to the compressive strength of the core sample with a diameter of 100mm and a height-to-diameter ratio of 1:1.By comparing the measured strength values,the relationship between the measured values under different strength measurement methods was analyzed.Design/methodology/approach–A comparative test of the core drilling method and the rebound method was conducted on the side walls of tunnel linings in some under-construction railways to study the feasibility of the rebound method in engineering quality supervision and inspection.Findings–Tests showed that the rebound strength was positively correlated with the core drill strength.The core drill test strength was significantly higher than the rebound test strength,and the strength still increased after 56 days of age.The rebound method is suitable for the general survey of concrete strength during the construction process and is not suitable for direct supervision and inspection.Originality/value–By studying the correlation of test strength of tunnel lining concrete using two methods,the differences in test results of different methods are proposed to provide a reference for the test and evaluation of tunnel lining strength in railway engineering.
文摘Objective:To observe the control effect of interventional therapy combined with lenvatinib and sintilimab in patients with intermediate and advanced liver cancer.Methods:82 patients with intermediate and advanced liver cancer who visited from January 2022 to January 2025 were selected as samples and randomly divided into two groups.Group A received interventional therapy combined with lenvatinib and sintilimab,while Group B received interventional therapy combined with lenvatinib.Disease remission rate,adverse reactions,liver function indicators,and tumor marker indicators were compared between the two groups.Results:The disease control rate(DCR)in Group A was higher than that in Group B(P<0.05).There was no difference in adverse reaction rates between Group A and Group B(P>0.05).Total bilirubin(TBil),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),and alanine aminotransferase(ALT)levels in Group A were lower than those in Group B(P<0.05).Carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),alpha-fetoprotein(AFP),and alpha-L-fucosidase(AFU)levels in Group A were also lower than those in Group B(P<0.05).Conclusion:Intermediate and advanced liver cancer patients receiving interventional therapy combined with lenvatinib and sintilimab showed reduced tumor marker levels,lessened liver function damage,and a high disease control rate and treatment safety.
文摘Liver cancer presents unique challenges due to its systemic impact and complex treatment modalities.Patients often experience a range of complications,including cardiovascular,renal,hematological,and metabolic abnormalities,which can significantly affect treatment outcomes and quality of life.This article emphasizes the integration of multidisciplinary strategies and artificial intelligence-driven diagnostics,which have the potential to improve patient outcomes by optimizing early detection and targeted management of these complications.A recent study on 60 liver cancer patients undergoing interventional therapy highlighted the importance of recognizing and managing these complications.This article offers an overview of systemic complications in liver cancer,focusing on pathophysiological mechanisms,risk factors,and strategies to improve care.By addressing gaps in the existing literature and proposing future research directions,it underscores the importance of comprehensive,patient-centered approaches to refine therapeutic strategies.
文摘Gastrointestinal bleeding(GIB)presents a significant challenge for patients with hematologic malignancies,especially those with severe thrombocytopenia.Although endoscopic intervention is frequently used in managing GIB,its safety and effectiveness in this high-risk group remain unclear.A recent study by Alhumayyd et al provided insight into this issue.However,it has notable limitations,including its retrospective nature,small sample size,and failure to adjust for important confounding factors such as disease severity,hemodynamic status,and platelet function.The study’s findings indicated that urgent endoscopy may help decrease the incidence of recurrent bleeding;however,it did not show a clear benefit in terms of mortality.Future research ought to prioritize prospective,multicenter studies that employ standardized protocols and incorporate risk stratification models to better understand the impact of endoscopic treatment for GIB in these patients.Additionally,integrating platelet function assays could improve clinical decision-making.Addressing these research gaps is essential for improving patient outcomes and developing effective guidelines for managing GIB in individuals with thrombocytopenia.

文摘Efficient and accurate simulation of unsteady flow presents a significant challenge that needs to be overcome in computational fluid dynamics.Temporal discretization method plays a crucial role in the simulation of unsteady flows.To enhance computational efficiency,we propose the Implicit-Explicit Two-Step Runge-Kutta(IMEX-TSRK)time-stepping discretization methods for unsteady flows,and develop a novel adaptive algorithm that correctly partitions spatial regions to apply implicit or explicit methods.The novel adaptive IMEX-TSRK schemes effectively handle the numerical stiffness of the small grid size and improve computational efficiency.Compared to implicit and explicit Runge-Kutta(RK)schemes,the IMEX-TSRK methods achieve the same order of accuracy with fewer first derivative calculations.Numerical case tests demonstrate that the IMEX-TSRK methods maintain numerical stability while enhancing computational efficiency.Specifically,in high Reynolds number flows,the computational efficiency of the IMEX-TSRK methods surpasses that of explicit RK schemes by more than one order of magnitude,and that of implicit RK schemes several times over.

文摘Pancreatic cancer is a highly lethal malignancy characterized by rapid progression and increasing global incidence and mortality rates.Although surgery remains the only potentially curative treatment,most patients are ineligible for surgical intervention at diagnosis.For those with unresectable pancreatic cancer,palliative therapies such as radiotherapy and systemic treatments are the primary options.In recent decades,interventional therapies have emerged as promising alternatives in the treatment landscape of pancreatic cancer,including transcatheter arterial infusion,ablation techniques,stent placement,and brachytherapy.Thesemethods are recognized for their effectiveness in improving both survival outcomes and patients'quality of life.This review explores the historical development,current applications,and future potential of interventional therapies for pancreatic cancer.

文摘In this paper,a new technique is introduced to construct higher-order iterative methods for solving nonlinear systems.The order of convergence of some iterative methods can be improved by three at the cost of introducing only one additional evaluation of the function in each step.Furthermore,some new efficient methods with a higher-order of convergence are obtained by using only a single matrix inversion in each iteration.Analyses of convergence properties and computational efficiency of these new methods are made and testified by several numerical problems.By comparison,the new schemes are more efficient than the corresponding existing ones,particularly for large problem sizes.
文摘Objective:To analyze the treatment effect of standardized bronchoscopic interventional therapy(i.e.,interventional therapy)on airway stenosis.Methods:Forty patients with airway stenosis admitted to the hospital between September 2022 and September 2024 were selected and randomly divided into two groups using a random number table.The experimental group received interventional therapy,while the reference group received conventional treatment.The total effective rate,degree of airway stenosis,shortness of breath score,and lung function indicators were compared.Results:The total effective rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the reference group.The proportion of mild stenosis in the degree of airway stenosis was higher in the experimental group than in the reference group.The shortness of breath score was lower in the experimental group than in the reference group.The lung function indicators were better in the experimental group than in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Interventional therapy is effective for patients with airway stenosis,as it can reduce the degree of stenosis,improve symptoms of shortness of breath,and protect patients’lung function.
