In this study, single and interactive effect of three parameters, pH, ferrous and pulp concentration has been investigated by a 2^3 full factorial CCRD (central composite rotatable design) composed of eight factoria...In this study, single and interactive effect of three parameters, pH, ferrous and pulp concentration has been investigated by a 2^3 full factorial CCRD (central composite rotatable design) composed of eight factorial points, six central and six axial points. Initially, "none" mode from transformation subsection was chosen as the default choice for both responses, i.e. %recovery and gram of recovered zinc. Box-Cox plots give the best Lambda for each response (y^Lambda= f (A, B, C .....)) which occur at 1.91 and 2.16 for %recovey and gram of recovered zinc, respectively. A linear (y^1.91 = f (linear)) and a quadratic (y^2. 16= f (quadratic)) equation were suggested by software as the model for %recovery and gram of recovered zinc, respectively. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) for both models shows a high coefficient of determination (R^2). In order to optimize and find the best conditions under which three parameters occur appropriately, optimization was done numerically. Desirability plots indicate properly that the best conditions occur at pH = 1.46, ferrous = 6.67 g/L, %pulp = 7.1 (%w/v), %recovery = 86.5, gram of recovered zinc = 0.63 g and desirability = 0.777. Finally, PRP (progressive route of the process) analysis donates us a proper insight of what is happening during these 30 days. PRP analysis categorizes flasks in two parts, 1- flasks worth economically, 2- flasks with one-time-usable feed materials.展开更多

Objective:To explore the application effect of digital intraoral scanning impression technique in oral implant restoration for periodontitis patients and analyze its impact on patients’Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score...Objective:To explore the application effect of digital intraoral scanning impression technique in oral implant restoration for periodontitis patients and analyze its impact on patients’Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores.Methods:A total of 80 periodontitis patients who received implant restoration in our hospital from May 2023 to May 2025 were selected as research subjects.They were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The observation group used the digital intraoral scanning impression technique to obtain impressions,while the control group used the traditional silicone rubber impression technique.The impression-taking time,the number of prostheses try-ins,implant survival rate,periodontal health indicators(probing depth,gingival index,bleeding index),and VAS scores(pain during treatment and comfort after restoration)were compared between the two groups.Results:The observation group was superior to the control group in terms of impression-taking time,the number of prostheses try-ins,and implant survival rate(p<0.05).Six months after restoration,the improvement in periodontal health indicators in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(p<0.05).In addition,the pain VAS score of the observation group during treatment was lower than that of the control group,and the comfort VAS score after restoration was higher than that of the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion:Digital intraoral scanning impression technology can effectively enhance the efficiency and success rate of implant restoration in periodontitis patients,improve periodontal health,alleviate patients’discomfort during treatment,and increase post-restoration comfort,demonstrating high clinical application value.展开更多
In this study,artificial neural networks(ANNs)were implemented to determine design parameters for an impressed current cathodic protection(ICCP)prototype.An ASTM A36 steel plate was tested in 3.5%NaCl solution,seawate...In this study,artificial neural networks(ANNs)were implemented to determine design parameters for an impressed current cathodic protection(ICCP)prototype.An ASTM A36 steel plate was tested in 3.5%NaCl solution,seawater,and NS4 using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)to monitor the evolution of the substrate surface,which affects the current required to reach the protection potential(Eprot).Experimental data were collected as training datasets and analyzed using statistical methods,including box plots and correlation matrices.Subsequently,ANNs were applied to predict the current demand at different exposure times,enabling the estimation of electrochemical parameters(limiting voltage values)that can be used to optimize a self-regulating ICCP system.The obtained electrochemical parameters were then used,through Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO),to fine-tune an ANN-based proportional-integral-derivative(PID)controller for the ICCP system.展开更多
Monovalent anions,with relatively low charge density,exhibit weak bond energy with Zn^(2+)ions,which facilitates the solubility of Zn salts and the regulation of solvation structures.In this study,zinc bis(aminosulfat...Monovalent anions,with relatively low charge density,exhibit weak bond energy with Zn^(2+)ions,which facilitates the solubility of Zn salts and the regulation of solvation structures.In this study,zinc bis(aminosulfate)(Zn(NH_(2)SO_(3))_(2))with a monovalent anion,NH_(2)SO_(3)^(-),was synthesized and dissolved in different ratios of dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO)and H_(2)O as electrolytes for Zn-ion batteries(ZIBs).From the perspective of game theory,the influences of DMSO and H_(2)O on the solvation structure and electrochemical performance of the Zn(NH_(2)SO_(3))_(2)based electrolytes has been meticulously discussed.Computations and spectra analysis indicate that DMSO molecules are reluctant to penetrate the primary solvation structure of Zn^(2+)ions.Indeed,increasing DMSO in electrolytes can induce a transition from solvent-separated ion pairs(SSIP)to contact ion pairs(CIP),resulting in an enrichment of anions in the primary solvation structure.This alteration can significantly suppress parasitic reactions,enhance nucleation density,and refine the deposition morphology during the Zn plating process,leading to superior cyclic stability and high coulombic efficiency(CE)of Zn//Cu and Zn//Zn cells.However,the enrichment of anions in the primary solvation structure also inhibits the activity of Zn^(2+)ions,amplifies the polarization effect,and engenders a sluggish ionization dynamics,resulting in the low energy conversion efficiency of the battery.These findings underscore the influence of the anion ratio within the primary solvation structure on electrochemical properties of electrolytes for ZIBs,which may be a pivotal determinant in the Zn deposition process.展开更多
