A workflow model of simulation modeling based on the virtual ship assembly process was also established; furthermore, a method of information transformation between the ship three-dimensional design and ship construction plan was formulated. To meet the requirements of information sharing between different systems in the ship virtual assembly, a simulation database was created by using the software engineering design method and the relational data model. With the application of this database, the information of ship three-dimensional design, construction planning, and virtual assembly can be integrated into one system. Subsequently, this new method was applied as a tool to simulate the virtual assembly of a ship, and the results guarantee its rationality and reliability.展开更多

Overseas oil and gas field development has ten major features, such as non-identity project resource, diversity of contract type, complexity of cooperation model, and so on. The overseas oil and gas field development aims at the maximization of production and benefit during the limited contract period, so the overseas oil and gas field development models are established as giving priority to production by natural energy, building large-scale production capacity, putting into production as soon as possible, realizing high oil production recovery rate, and achieving rapid payback period of investment. According to the overseas contract mode, a set of strategies for overseas oil and gas field development plans were made. For tax systems contracts, the strategy is to adopt the mode of "first fat and then thinner, easier in the first and then harder", that is, early investment pace, production increase rate, development workload and production were decided by the change of tax stipulated in the contract. For production share contracts, the strategy is to give priority to high production with a few wells at a high production recovery rate to increase the cost-oil and shorten the period of payback. For technical service contracts, the strategy is that the optimal production target and workload of the project were determined by the return on investment, so as to ensure that the peak production and stable production periods meet the contract requirements.展开更多

History model building captures in background the dynamic interactive definition of engineering requirement and then explicitly conveys the original intention to successive application layers, which is conductive to the decision support of manufacturing planning in not only automatic geometry re constructing but also machining set up. G DSG theory as an earlier achievement is applied to generate the topology independent generalized mid model as an input to manufacturing planning, which is therefore simplified and its accuracy is simultaneously improved. Manufacturing planning lays emphasis on optimizing the mapping in both geometry and function from part itself to detail machining scheme. Comparatively, process planning pays more attention to the mapping to those items like tool, fixture, etc. Theoretically, such an idea is also beneficial to realizing the parametric NC machining trajectory generation and maintaining its dynamic consistency with the update of the design model.[WT5”HZ]展开更多

The numerical modelling was carried out to optimise the entrance channel layout with respect to wave penetration into the port and to refine design conditions for the sizing of the primary armour on the breakwaters. Wave conditions inside and outside of the port have been assessed using the 2-dimensional numerical wave penetration model MIKE21 EMS (Elliptic Mild-Slope). As part of the design process, 3D physical modelling studies were also undertaken at Delft Hydraulics in the Netherlands to confirm the stability of the armour on the trunk and roundhead of the breakwaters and to verify the influence of the deep approach channel on stability. The opportunity was taken to extend the physical model tests to assess the influence of the deep channel on wave penetration through the port entrance. The paper focuses on the influence of the deep channel on wave conditions in the entrance to the port and compares the results from the numerical and physical modelling.展开更多
