Its internalmanagement system and operations were changed greatly, itseconomic benefits were vastly improved, its overall strength, statusand influence were improved significantly. All these results built asolid foundation for its further development. In the next 5 years,CNPC will be in a phase with very important developmentopportunities and changes to the system, the internal managementmode and operational strategy.To apply scientific development philosophy to developmentstrategy, reform path, structure adjustment and operation managementat CNPC, and to drive its overall harmonious development, CNPC’sDevelopment Research Department carried out in-depthinvestigations, research, discussions and communication. DuringMay 29￣30, the Development Research Department held a CNPCDevelopment Strategy Seminar. Attendees summarized andexchanged views on their experience with the corporate reform anddevelopment in the last 5 years, and put forward some constructiveadvice on the future development of CNPC. They pointed out that oil& gas companies should pay more attention to the following aspects:1) Seizing new development opportunities, hastening internaladjustment and planning strategic layout, to fit its development intothe environment of an overall fast growing national economy. 2)Making clear guidelines, sticking to the principles of uniformplanning, deepen reform, restructure, hasten establishment of amodern enterprise. 3) Following the principle of maximizing overallinterests and optimizing overall benefits, and achieving harmoniousdevelopment of listed companies and unlisted ones. 4) Optimizingasset structure, divesting of non-performing assets, upgrading assetportfolio, focusing on core business, and finally, improving overallcompetitiveness. 5) Making full use of national and internationalmarkets and resources, actively participating in regional economiccooperation, placing emphasis on improved international operatingcapability. 6) Adhering to people-oriented and scientific principles,and creating a high-level, highly skilled, group of internationalizedtalents into the corporate development strategy, to maintainmomentum. 7) Dedicating ourselves to technology innovation andshaping our own technological advantages.展开更多
