Nowadays,chatting programs have become very popular among TV audience,because they are well integrated with information,entertainment and leisure.They can bring a lot of laughter as well as elicitation to the audience...Nowadays,chatting programs have become very popular among TV audience,because they are well integrated with information,entertainment and leisure.They can bring a lot of laughter as well as elicitation to the audience.However,with the sharp increase of chatting programs on television,some programs which are not well designed emerge at an amazing rate.Our au dience always have a bad feeling to these programs and even mislead by them.My paper analyzes some chatting programs from the perspective of Grice's co-operative principles,and gives some suggestion for how to make chatting program go more smoothly.展开更多

To enhance secure communications, a new relay chatting based on transmission scheme is ...In this paper, we investigate a two-way relay network consisting of two sources, multiple cooperative relays and an eavesdropper. To enhance secure communications, a new relay chatting based on transmission scheme is proposed. Specifically, the proposed scheme selects a best relay that maximize the sum mutual information among the sources to forward the sources’ signals using an amplify-and-forward protocol, and the remaining relays transmit interference signals to confuse the eavesdropper via distributed beam forming. It can be found that the proposed scheme with relay chatting does not require the knowledge of the eavesdropper’s channel, and outperforms the joint relay and jammer selection scheme, which introduces the interference into the sources. Numerical results show that the secrecy outage probability of the proposed scheme converges to zero as the transmit power increases.展开更多

This paper arises from the co...It has been commonplace to hear of teacher educators promoting reflective practice. The feasibility of the ways of reflective practice suggested in the recent literature will be reviewed. This paper arises from the conceptualization of reflection and a review of the concrete problems facing Hong Kong practitioners. In revisiting reflective practice as it is limited and constrained by the heavy workload of English teachers in Hong Kong, it seems to be of utmost importance to provide feasible ways for these teachers to develop their professional competence in this area. The difficulties and the problems that constrain Hong Kong teachers’ reflective practice shall be highlighted and it is argued that what in-service teachers require is a viable and effective way of being reflective. I shall suggest "Chatin-private" (Ouyang, 1997) as an alternative for the overworked teachers to remain reflective in the case of Hong Kong with a particular emphasis on workload of secondary school teachers.展开更多
