A critical review of empirical studies regarding this area, can lay the groundwork for improving partnership between nurses and clients, as well as person- centered nursing care. Methods: A comprehensive literature search used various “partnership”,“nurse”and “clients”search terms to identify relevant studies published from 2007 to 2017. The selected studies had to focus on partnership and nursing care. Walker and Avant’(2004) framework was used when synthesizing the evidence from empirical studies in the concept analysis. It helps to distinguish confusing or unclear concepts, and to promote critical thinking through analyzing its attributes, operational definitions, antecedents, consequences, and reference. Results: In nursing care, partnership is the relationship based on collaboration among individuals, who place trust and confidence in accountability, and who have capability and empathy. The antecedents are health problems or requirements, willingness to sign up as partners and ongoing commitment;while the consequences were presented as improvement in quality of service, treatment outcomes, clients’ safety and satisfaction, financial benefit as well as time constraints and professionals’ emotional burden. The Patient Partnership in Care questionnaire can help assess partnership in nursing care. Conclusion: This concept analysis informs the concept of partnership in nursing care by using Walker and Avant’(2004) framework. By synthesizing the evidence from empirical studies, it provides theoretical and clinical frameworks for nurses to innovate nurse-client relationships - nurses are seen as partners in care instead of experts, which can encourage clients’ self-management and improve person-centered nursing care.展开更多

文摘To define the concept of humanistic quality of nurses by Rodgers’evolutionary conceptual analysis.Based on Rodgers’s evolutionary concept analysis method as the theoretical basis to analyze the concept of humanistic literacy of nurses, the databases of CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,PubMed,Web of Science, and Science Direct were searched systematically from October 31st,2024.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,43 literatures were selected, including 34 Chinese literatures and 9 English literatures.Nurses’humanistic quality involved five conceptual attributes, including ethics, legal knowledge, traditional culture, interpersonal interaction, and aesthetic accomplishment.Antecedent variables include education environment, growth environment, hospital environment, and professional identity, and the consequences are divided into positive and negative aspects.Among them, positive consequences include harmonious nurse-patient relationships, efficient communication and cooperation, and improved nursing quality, while negative consequences include poor hospital operation,nurse-patient disputes, and reduced work quality. This paper defines and analyzes the humanistic qualities of nurses through the conceptual analysis of Rogers’theory of evolution, and the humanistic qualities of nurses refer to the comprehensive qualities of nurses based on ethics, legal knowledge, traditional culture, interpersonal interactions, and aesthetics in their professional practice, which will serve as a reference for future research in related fields.
文摘Thoracic spine fracture is a common orthopedic injury that is usually caused by external forces acting directly on or transmitted to the thoracic spine through other parts of the spine.Thoracic spine fractures can be divided into two types:stable and unstable. An unstable fracture means that the relationship between the vertebral bodies is no longer stable, which may cause serious consequences such as spinal compression, nerve root compression,or spinal cord injury.Surgical treatment is often needed for patients with unstable fractures, nerve root compression,or spinal cord injury to restore stability and function to the thoracic spine. The probability of complications after thoracolumbar fracture surgery is high, which affects the outcome of surgical treatment. To improve postoperative rehabilitation outcomes, this article analyzed the value of nursing care based on the enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)concept for patients undergoing thoracolumbar fracture surgery.
文摘[Aim] This study aimed to conduct a concept analysis and clarification of ethical competence of nursing students and nurses, and further clarify the components. [Method] Rodger’s concept analysis method was used. A literature search was conducted using the ICHUSHI database, MEDLINE, and CINAHL databases. The keywords included in the search were ethical competence. A total of 24 published articles were analyzed. [Results] As a concept of ethical competence among nursing students and nurses, five categories of [ethical sensitivity], [ethical reasoning], [ethical decision making], [ethical practice], [ethical reflection], obviously became. As a component, two categories of antecedent factors and three categories of consequences were identified. I defined ethical competence in nursing students and nurses, “including nursing students and nurses thinking processes and nursing practice and reflection to solve ethical problems Behavioral characteristics”. [Conclusion] Review of nursing practice from an ethical perspective [ethical reflection] is indispensable for clarifying self-tasks and deepening better nursing practice.

文摘Objective:The introduction of the vicarious resilience concept in psychology and mental health nursing literature is a highly promising advancement.By utilizing this novel concept, experts in various domains can enhance their comprehension of how to foster resilience in individuals by observing and learning from the resilience of others. This concept analysis aims to elucidate the concept of vicarious resilience in mental health nursing by defining its related attributes, antecedents, and consequences. Methods:Walker and Avant’s strategy for concept analysis method was used. This review specifically examined mental health nurse providers.A comprehensive literature search was performed in the PubMed,Medline, the Cochrane Library, and CINAHL databases. The inclusion criterion was Englishlanguage documents on vicarious resilience within mental health nursing. Results:A total of 24 articles were included. The concept’s attributes were empathy, hope, resourcefulness, awareness, and spirituality.Antecedents were associated with listening to patients’trauma narratives,self-care,self-awareness,and support from colleagues.Consequences were enhanced well-being,changes in life goals, adaptation, personal growth, and increased personal resilience.Currently, there is only one tool in the empirical reference. Conclusion:Interpreting the concept of vicarious resilience in mental health nursing and determining its characteristics can be utilized to design nursing interventions to develop vicarious resilience and enhance the quality of care in mental health facilities.
文摘Background: The rapid change of health care delivery affirms the need for a change in the culture of nursing education through identifying the challenge to nursing faculty that many teach in the way they were taught, and suggesting a focus on the exploration of new teaching methods and student learning, rather than only focus on content coverage. Objectives: To examine the impact of concept mapping on caring efficacy of Palestinian nursing students. Methods: A quasi-experimental design, pre-post test, two groups (intervention and control group) were used. Convenience sample of 80 (40 participants in each group) nursing students from Arab American University, Jenin. Caring Efficacy was measured by Caring Efficacy Scale. The statistical tests such as t-test (independent and paired t-test) were used to examine the effect of concept mapping on caring efficacy of the fourth year nursing students at their clinical training. Results: Independent-samples t-test revealed statistically significant differences between the two groups in caring efficacy (t = 2.589, df = 78, P = 0.011);students in the intervention group showed higher level of caring efficacy than students in the control group during their clinical training. Conclusion: Concept mapping was found to be an effective teaching method for nursing students. The use of concept mapping is useful in enhancing meaningful learning.
文摘Health literacy(HL)is an effective approach for improved health status and measures the capacity of individuals to engage in health promotion and disease prevention activities as low HL constitutes a global problem in health-care delivery.Nurses play a significant role in providing adequate information to the client and as such it becomes imperative for them to understand the concept of HL.Clinical approach of HL refers to ability to utilize literacy skills in relation to appointments, prescriptions, and instructions for self-management.Public health approach presents HL as means of empowering individuals to take control of their health and factors that influences health.HL is a hierarchy of skills that can be assessed and managed through health education and effective communication.Nurses’understanding of the concept of HL and strategies to reduce HL demands is crucial to delivery of effective nursing practice. This review will provide a clear understanding of the concept of HL which is essential for nurses to effectively educate patients and provide holistic care.More so,nurses will be able to assess literacy level of the patients, plan and develop better educational program tailored to patients’level of literacy. This could invariably improve patients’comprehension and adherence to treatment plans and overall health outcomes.
文摘Objectives: This concept analysis aims to provide a better understanding of the term “partnership” in nursing care. By synthesizing the evidence from empirical studies, it provides theoretical and clinical frameworks for nurses to innovate nurse-client relationships - nurses are seen as partners in care instead of experts, which can encourage clients’ self-management and improve person-centered nursing care.
