By examining three key dimensions—culture-loaded words, cultural allusions, and cultural imagery, the study evaluates the effectiveness of the translation strategies employed. It aims to offer new insights into literary translation studies. Given the significant role of cultural load-bearing words, cultural allusions, and cultural imagery in facilitating the cross-cultural transmission and construction of cultural schemas, Li Jihong’s translation practice successfully conveys Afghan cultural elements to Chinese readers, enabling them to better understand and appreciate the unique charm of Afghan culture.展开更多
