At the university teacher level,the concept of student orientation must be adhered to in teaching,and it is regarded as the guiding concept of teaching and education and is implemented in classroom teaching and practical teaching. At the level of college administrator,the concept of student orientation must be adhered in the course of daily management and service to do better management,service and education work. In order to better implement the student-oriented concept and promote the growth and development of college students,we needs to build a mentor team for college students' growth based on political workers,establish a team of academic tutors for college students based on professional teachers and build a platform for cooperation between schools and enterprises. Short-term overseas study tours, as a new type of cross-cultural autonomy education in the era of globalization, aims to help students improve their intercultural communication competence through tourism and cultural ...Short-term overseas study tours, as a new type of cross-cultural autonomy education in the era of globalization, aims to help students improve their intercultural communication competence through tourism and cultural learning. Many studies' subjects are concentrated on the higher learning institutions. However, few of them are concerned about application-oriented university students' ICC. So the behavior and role of students' ICC in the overseas study tours in 2016 and 2017 in one of the application-oriented universities in Zhejiang province becomes the main focus. It exams from three aspects: intercultural attitudes, knowledge and behaviors. Basically, students benefit a lot from study tours, especially in the aspect of practical communication, among which, they change from shy, inexperienced learners to be brave, confident, and skilled in the tours. Also, considering the problems of host school are existed, the suggestions proposed by participants that practical courses of destination countries had better be arranged for students to understand and adapt to it beforehand. Besides, more communication and interactions between students and teachers should be increased to create a more active and relaxed classroom atmosphere, which contribute to mobilize students' initiative and enthusiasm to better become a complementary influence to promote students' ICC.展开更多

In the present work,transparent and anti-fogging AlPO_(4)-5 films were prepared on glass substrates using a novel developed process.The process entails a simple in-situ sol–gel followed by vapor phase transport.The i...In the present work,transparent and anti-fogging AlPO_(4)-5 films were prepared on glass substrates using a novel developed process.The process entails a simple in-situ sol–gel followed by vapor phase transport.The in-situ sol–gel process was implemented by coating the precursor sols for the synthesis of AlPO4-5 on the glass substrates successively using the spin-coating method.The films and powders scribed from the films were characterized by X-Ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),scanning electron microscope(SEM),atomic force microscope(AFM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and transmission electron microscope(TEM).The unique films were composed of oblique oriented nanoflake AlPO_(4)-5 crystals with the thickness of about 20 nm.The formation of nano-flake crystals can be ascribed to the high concentration of the precursors,resulting in the formation of a supersaturation system.The obtained films showed high antifogging performance due to the superhydrophilicity with a water contact angle of lower than 1.0°.The silicone oil contact angle was also low about 8.2°.In addition,heteroatom-substituted AlPO_(4)-5 films showing different colors can be obtained easily by simply adding transition metal ions in the phosphate acid solution during the preparation that can extend the application of the method for different coating demand.展开更多

The college students have just entered the society, and they do not understand a lot of the social status very well, and have very little experience in the employment. In order to reduce the pressure of the employment of the university students, and help the graduate students bettor get employed, also to make the college students have a better planning for their future, in this paper, the author carried out the investigation and analysis of the job-hunting intentions and the employment orientations of the students majored in nursing, hoping to hclp the employment of the college students in some aspects, and do a good job in the planning of their career.展开更多
In response to growing uncertainty in global health driven by geopolitical tensions,pandemics,and climate-related challenges,global health education must evolve to equip students with theoretical knowledge and core co...In response to growing uncertainty in global health driven by geopolitical tensions,pandemics,and climate-related challenges,global health education must evolve to equip students with theoretical knowledge and core competencies,such as leadership,cross-cultural communication,and strategic thinking.This study reviews the updates to the International Health Project Management(IHPM)course and examines its three key changes:introducing a studentoriented teaching module,incorporating teamwork and role-play to promote autonomy and accountability;expanding geographic flexibility to encourage broader strategic thinking;and strengthening team dynamics through clearer role definitions and targeted support mechanisms.Students formed project teams,established internal regulations,and selected global health scenarios for project design.This revised approach fostered in-depth discussions that encouraged open-minded thinking,enabling students to move beyond disease-focused content to strategic systemic considerations.Greater group ownership also improved collaboration and accountability,addressing common teamwork challenges such as role confusion and uneven participation.However,the analytical depth varied depending on students’disciplinary backgrounds.Finally,we argue that a tiered curriculum that moves from theory to competency building can better support student growth.Overall,these findings highlight the potential of student-oriented approaches to strengthen leadership,cross-cultural communication,and strategic thinking,competencies essential for contributing to a shared future for global health.展开更多

Although holding the same views on the importance of developing competence, China and Germany construct the respective education systems in consideration of the different circumstances. In this paper, we propose the analysis onto the engineering education systems in the two countries and characterize the systems as competence-oriented. This study investigated the political,economic,social,and cultural environment perceptions on international students that define their acculturation and health related quality of life.Participants were 117 internation...This study investigated the political,economic,social,and cultural environment perceptions on international students that define their acculturation and health related quality of life.Participants were 117 international students from 32 countries attending a Chinese university(females=43%,mean age=21.17 years,SD=4.45 years).They reported on their acculturation to China and physical and psychological well-being.Results from t-tests and correlation analyses indicate political liberals had more positive attitudes toward China than the conservatives,and higher self-reported physical and psychological results.Higher scores on the“interdependence”dimension of self-construal,as well as the“extraversion”and“emotional stability”dimensions of personality traits,were associated with more positive views of China and better health outcomes.These findings are consistent with Berry’s framework for acculturation,which posits that individual-level variables are related to cultural adaptation,and that cultural adaptation is associated with improved physical and mental health.International student offices at host universities should implement comprehensive support programs,including language assistance,cultural orientation,and social integration initiatives to effectively enhance the health related quality of life of international students.展开更多
