Nonparametric(distribution-free)control charts have been introduced in recent years when quality characteristics do not follow a specific distribution.When the sample selection is prohibitively expensive,we prefer ranked-set sampling over simple random sampling because ranked set sampling-based control charts outperform simple random sampling-based control charts.In this study,we proposed a nonparametric homogeneously weighted moving average based on theWilcoxon signed-rank test with ranked set sampling(NPHWMARSS)control chart for detecting shifts in the process location of a continuous and symmetric distribution.Monte Carlo simulations are used to obtain the run length characteristics to evaluate the performance of the proposed NPHWMARSS control chart.The proposed NPHWMARSS control chart’s performance is compared to that of parametric and nonparametric control charts.These control charts include the exponentially weighted moving average(EWMA)control chart,Wilcoxon signed-rank with simple random sampling based the nonparametric EWMA control chart,the nonparametric EWMA sign control chart,Wilcoxon signed-rank with ranked set sampling-based the nonparametric EWMA control chart,and the homogeneously weighted moving average control charts.The findings show that the proposed NPHWMARSS control chart performs better than its competitors,particularly for the small shifts.Finally,an example is presented to demonstrate how the proposed scheme can be implemented practically. 展开更多

Analysis of the Effect of Subgroup Size on the X-Bar Control Chart Using Forensic Science Laboratory Sample Influx Data

This paper analyzes the effect of subgroup size on the x-bar chart characteristics using sample influx (SIF) into forensic science laboratory (FSL). The characteristics studied include changes in out-or-control points (OCP), upper control limit UCLx, and zonal demarcations. Multi-rules were used to identify the number of out-of-control-points, Nocp as violations using five control chart rules applied separately. A sensitivity analysis on the Nocp was applied for subgroup size, k, and number of sigma above the mean value to determine the upper control limit, UCLx. A computer code was implemented using a FORTRAN code to create x-bar control-charts and capture OCP and other control-chart characteristics with increasing k from 2 to 25. For each value of k, a complete series of average values, Q(p), of specific length, Nsg, was created from which statistical analysis was conducted and compared to the original SIF data, S(t). The variation of number of out-of-control points or violations, Nocp, for different control-charts rules with increasing k was determined to follow a decaying exponential function, Nocp = Ae–α, for which, the goodness of fit was established, and the R2 value approached unity for Rule #4 and #5 only. The goodness of fit was established to be the new criteria for rational subgroup-size range, for Rules #5 and #4 only, which involve a count of 6 consecutive points decreasing and 8 consecutive points above the selected control limit (σ/3 above the grand mean), respectively. Using this criterion, the rational subgroup range was established to be 4 ≤ k ≤ 20 for the two x-bar control chart rules. 展开更多

在高质量制造过程中,某些产品的质量特性可能呈现非对称分布,有时只需关注单边的偏移。传统双边控制图可能因“惯性效应”而不适用于这类情况。为提升监测效率并减小此类影响,文章引入了单边改进扩展型指数加权移动平均均值控制图,该控... 在高质量制造过程中,某些产品的质量特性可能呈现非对称分布,有时只需关注单边的偏移。传统双边控制图可能因“惯性效应”而不适用于这类情况。为提升监测效率并减小此类影响,文章引入了单边改进扩展型指数加权移动平均均值控制图,该控制图具备两个平滑参数,提升了监测不同偏移大小的适应性,可根据观测值变化调整权重分配,优化监测效果。进一步,基于马尔可夫链与蒙特卡洛仿真方法,完成了控制图在零状态、稳态及最坏场景下平均运行长度(ARL)的定量测算,且依托测算数据明确了该控制图的最优参数组合。仿真实验和工业案例的比较分析结果显示,单边IEEWMA均值控制图在性能上优于单边EWMA均值控制图和CUSUM控制图,具有更好的适用性、灵活性和监测灵敏度。 展开更多

祁红工夫、川红工夫和滇红工夫作为我国三大代表性工夫红茶,其冲泡工艺仍依赖个人经验,尚无科学的冲泡指导。以祁红工夫为试验对象,以萃取率(EY)和总溶解固体(TDS)为茶汤质量指标,采用生存分析法测定消费者对茶汤最佳风味平衡度和浓度... 祁红工夫、川红工夫和滇红工夫作为我国三大代表性工夫红茶,其冲泡工艺仍依赖个人经验,尚无科学的冲泡指导。以祁红工夫为试验对象,以萃取率(EY)和总溶解固体(TDS)为茶汤质量指标,采用生存分析法测定消费者对茶汤最佳风味平衡度和浓度的接受程度,建立祁红工夫冲泡控制图,并选用理想轮廓法(IPM)测试其在川红工夫和滇红工夫上的应用。结果显示,生存分析法确定了最佳EY为3.46%~5.68%、最佳TDS为0.14%~0.29%,最佳茶水比(g∶mL)为1∶20~1∶30,并以此建立了九宫格的祁红工夫冲泡控制图;评价员对川红工夫和滇红工夫茶汤的IPM测试发现,川红工夫的3泡茶汤均位于50%以内的核心理想区域,整体应用性良好;而滇红工夫茶汤位于20%以外的区域,评价员接受度较低,适用性较差。本研究建立的工夫红茶冲泡控制图可以有效指导中小叶种工夫红茶理想茶汤的冲泡,但对大叶种工夫红茶的适用性尚需完善。 展开更多

Mahalanobis-Taguchi system(MTS)is a kind of data mining and pattern recognition method which can identify the attribute characteristics of multidimensional data by constructing Mahalanobis distance(MD)measurement scale.In this paper,considering the influence of irregular distribution of the sample data and abnormal variation of the normal data on accuracy of MTS,a feature recognition and selection model of the equipment state based on the improved MTS is proposed,and two aspects of the model namely construction of the original Mahalanobis space(MS)and determination of the threshold are studied.Firstly,the original training sample space is statistically controlled by the X-bar-S control chart,and extreme data of the single characteristic attribute is filtered to reduce the impact of extreme condition on the accuracy of the model,so as to construct a more robust MS.Furthermore,the box plot method is used to determine the threshold of the model.And the stability of the model and the tolerance to the extreme condition are improved by leaving sufficient range of the variation for the extreme condition which is identified as in the normal range.Finally,the improved model is compared with the traditional one based on the unimproved MTS by using the data from the literature.The result shows that compared with the traditional model,the accuracy and sensitivity of the improved model for state identification can be greatly enhanced. 展开更多

Titration Method Validation of Live Vaccines against Infectious Bursal Disease

Validating a method of analysis goes through different steps, which aims at testing the normality of measurements distribution, estimating the uncertainty of the components of a measurement (i.e., accuracy and correctness), and finally, define the control tests of non degradation of the method performances. This paper outlines the steps for validating a biological method of analysis. It involves the construction of an experimental design, a statistical model, and the preparation of an interne laboratory reference material (pilot vaccine). The latter is used to study the impact of deviation and variation factors, in order to, optimize the analytical method, to evaluate the bias (random error), and to calculate the uncertainty of measurement, and make the control charts. This method is applied in the titration of live viral vaccines of Gumboro disease on chicken's embryos fibroblasts. The experimental results show that potential influence factors related to the titration method had no significant influence on the obtained results. Taking into account these results, an operating mode has been elaborated. The finalized method proved to be faithful to standard deviation of repeatability and reproducibility of 0.21 and 0.22, respectively, with a confidence level of 95%. The calculated uncertainty of measurement is equal to 0.2, which represents the average error level of a titer. A homogeneous stock of interne laboratory reference vaccine (MRIL), with an average titer of 5.9 log DIT 50, was produced and the control chart set in away to provide the laboratory with an important tool of control and monitoring of the viral titers evolution in time, as well as, the mastery of the validated titration method performances. 展开更多

In this paper, we consider the problem of delay-dependent stability for state estimation of neural networks with two additive time–varying delay components via sampleddata control. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional with triple and four integral terms and by using Jensen's inequality, a new delay-dependent stability criterion is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) to ensure the asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point of the considered neural networks. Instead of the continuous measurement,the sampled measurement is used to estimate the neuron states, and a sampled-data estimator is constructed. Due to the delay-dependent method, a significant source of conservativeness that could be further reduced lies in the calculation of the time-derivative of the Lyapunov functional. The relationship between the time-varying delay and its upper bound is taken into account when estimating the upper bound of the derivative of Lyapunov functional. As a result, some less conservative stability criteria are established for systems with two successive delay components. Finally, numerical example is given to show the superiority of proposed method. 展开更多

近年来,贝叶斯方法在质量控制研究中受到越来越多的关注。然而,现有研究主要集中于利用贝叶斯广义似然比(Bayesian generalized likelihood ratio,BGLR)控制图监控单变量正态过程的方差,对于多元过程协方差矩阵的贝叶斯监控方法仍存在... 近年来,贝叶斯方法在质量控制研究中受到越来越多的关注。然而,现有研究主要集中于利用贝叶斯广义似然比(Bayesian generalized likelihood ratio,BGLR)控制图监控单变量正态过程的方差,对于多元过程协方差矩阵的贝叶斯监控方法仍存在较大需求。为此,提出一种多元贝叶斯广义似然比(multivariate Bayesian generalized likelihood ratio,MBGLR)控制图,用于监测多元正态分布过程中协方差矩阵的漂移。为了验证MBGLR控制图的有效性,采用蒙特卡罗模拟方法重点探究其在已知先验信息条件下的监控能力。模拟结果表明,在这些条件下,MBGLR控制图不仅表现出良好的监测效果,而且其性能优于传统的多元广义似然比(multivariate generalized likelihood ratio,MGLR)控制图。通过合理利用先验信息,MBGLR控制图能够更快速、更准确地检测到过程变化,从而提升整体监控效率和响应速度。 展开更多

目的建立HPLC加校正因子的主成分自身对照法,对国家药品抽检的呋塞米片进行有关物质测定。方法采用C 18色谱柱(4.6 mm×250 mm,5μm);以水-四氢呋喃-冰醋酸(70∶30∶1)为流动相;流速为1.0 m L·min^(-1);检测波长为272 nm;柱温... 目的建立HPLC加校正因子的主成分自身对照法,对国家药品抽检的呋塞米片进行有关物质测定。方法采用C 18色谱柱(4.6 mm×250 mm,5μm);以水-四氢呋喃-冰醋酸(70∶30∶1)为流动相;流速为1.0 m L·min^(-1);检测波长为272 nm;柱温为35℃;进样量为20μL。结果呋塞米和杂质Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅳ检测质量浓度线性范围分别为0.225~5.629μg·mL^(-1)、0.202~5.062μg·mL^(-1)、0.192~4.795μg·mL^(-1)、0.204~5.088μg·mL-1、0.189~4.731μg·mL^(-1)(r均大于0.999);检测限分别为0.025、0.051、0.013、0.066和0.017μg·mL^(-1),定量限分别为0.083、0.172、0.044、0.219和0.055μg·mL^(-1);平均回收率为96.7%~103.1%(RSD≤3.0%,n=9)。进样精密度、重复性、稳定性和耐用性均符合规定;148批呋塞米片中均检出4个已知杂质,且制剂中的杂质含量与其使用的原料药中的杂质含量呈明显的正相关性。结论所建HPLC法操作快速简便,灵敏度高,准确度好,可为呋塞米片的标准提高提供参考。 展开更多

带式输送机在运输过程中存在动态变化和不确定性,导致控制过程难以适应各种变化,易受干扰,影响控制的实时性和精准度。因此,提出了一种基于引斥力和动态窗口法融合的带式输送机速度自动化控制方法。基于动态窗口算法建立带式输送机货物... 带式输送机在运输过程中存在动态变化和不确定性,导致控制过程难以适应各种变化,易受干扰,影响控制的实时性和精准度。因此,提出了一种基于引斥力和动态窗口法融合的带式输送机速度自动化控制方法。基于动态窗口算法建立带式输送机货物运输过程中的速度采样空间,并结合引斥力原理实现约束优化。将速度采样结果作为增量式PID控制器的输入,结合BP神经网络调整增量式PID控制的参数,优化带式输送机的速度控制效果。实验表明,所提方法对控制指令响应迅速,控制效果优异,抗干扰能力强。 展开更多

Time delay is an inherent characteristic of real-world phenomena which may affect the system's characteristic.The systems including delay are known as time-delay systems,they are represented using delay differential equations.Modeling,discretisation,stability and control design for time-delay systems are still challenging in modern control theory.This paper systematically overviews available discretisation methods of linear and nonlinear time-delay systems.Emphasis is placed on illustrating fundamental results and recent progress on discretisation methods for delay systems.Numerous methods for the discretisation of linear and nonlinear systems considering input delays,state or output delays in the system's dynamics have been presented.A particular attention will be paid to illustrate effects of the discretisation process on the stability of discretised systems.Examples of mathematical descriptions,problems,and performance analysis for delay systems are presented.The presentation of discretisation methods is as easy as possible,focussing more on the main ideas and mathematical concepts by analogy.Finally,some possible future research directions to be tackled by researchers in this field are discussed. 展开更多
