Considering that each local model is only valid in each local region,we add local constraints to local models. The stability of proposed multi-model predictive control (MMPC) algorithm is analyzed, and the performance of MMPC is also demonstrated on an inulti-multi-output(MIMO) simulated pH neutralization process.展开更多

In the survey, Aristotle’s causality principle an...A survey on agents, causality and intelligence is presented and an equilibrium-based computing paradigm of quantum agents and quantum intelligence (QAQI) is proposed. In the survey, Aristotle’s causality principle and its historical extensions by David Hume, Bertrand Russell, Lotfi Zadeh, Donald Rubin, Judea Pearl, Niels Bohr, Albert Einstein, David Bohm, and the causal set initiative are reviewed;bipolar dynamic logic (BDL) is introduced as a causal logic for bipolar inductive and deductive reasoning;bipolar quantum linear algebra (BQLA) is introdused as a causal algebra for quantum agent interaction and formation. Despite the widely held view that causality is undefinable with regularity, it is shown that equilibrium-based bipolar causality is logically definable using BDL and BQLA for causal inference in physical, social, biological, mental, and philosophical terms. This finding leads to the paradigm of QAQI where agents are modeled as quantum enssembles;intelligence is revealed as quantum intelligence. It is shown that the enssemble formation, mutation and interaction of agents can be described as direct or indirect results of quantum causality. Some fundamental laws of causation are presented for quantum agent entanglement and quantum intelligence. Applicability is illustrated;major challenges are identified in equilibriumbased causal inference and quantum data mining.展开更多
A structure of logical hierarchical cluster for the distributed multimedia on demand server is proposed. The architecture is mainly composed of the network topology and the resource management of all server nodes. Ins...A structure of logical hierarchical cluster for the distributed multimedia on demand server is proposed. The architecture is mainly composed of the network topology and the resource management of all server nodes. Instead of the physical network hierarchy or the independent management hierarchy, the nodes are organized into a logically hieraxchical cluster according to the multimedia block they caches in the midderware layer. The process of a member joining/leaving or the structure adjustment cooperatively implemented by all members is concerned with decentralized maintenance of the logical cluster hierarchy. As the root of each logically hierarchical cluster is randomly mapped into the system, the logical structure of a multimedia block is dynamically expanded across some regions by the two replication policies in different load state respectively. The local load diversion is applied to fine-tune the load of nodes within a local region but belongs to different logical hierarchies. Guaranteed by the dynamic expansion of a logical structure and the load diversion of a local region, the users always select a closest idle node from the logical hierarchy under the condition of topology integration with resource management.展开更多
