Linear temporal logic(LTL)is an intuitive and expressive language to specify complex control tasks,and how to design an efficient control strategy for LTL specification is still a challenge.In this paper,we implement ...Linear temporal logic(LTL)is an intuitive and expressive language to specify complex control tasks,and how to design an efficient control strategy for LTL specification is still a challenge.In this paper,we implement the dynamic quantization technique to propose a novel hierarchical control strategy for nonlinear control systems under LTL specifications.Based on the regions of interest involved in the LTL formula,an accepting path is derived first to provide a high-level solution for the controller synthesis problem.Second,we develop a dynamic quantization based approach to verify the realization of the accepting path.The realization verification results in the necessity of the controller design and a sequence of quantization regions for the controller design.Third,the techniques of dynamic quantization and abstraction-based control are combined together to establish the local-to-global control strategy.Both abstraction construction and controller design are local and dynamic,thereby resulting in the potential reduction of the computational complexity.Since each quantization region can be considered locally and individually,the proposed hierarchical mechanism is more efficient and can solve much larger problems than many existing methods.Finally,the proposed control strategy is illustrated via two examples from the path planning and tracking problems of mobile robots.展开更多

In this paper, based on the fuzzy logic reasoning method, a dynamic character assessing model for the arc welding power source was established and used to analyze the dynamic character of the welding power source. Three different types of welding machine have been tested, and the characteristic information of the electrical signals such as re-striking arc voltage, low welding current and so on of the welding process were extracted accurately by using a self-developed welding dynamic arc wavelet analyzer. Its key components, the comparator and the output generator are both based on differential-pair circuit (DPC), and the latter is constructed by using the structure of DPC trees. The pre-charge evaluates logic style makes a steady current flow cut off, thereby greatly saving the power dissipation. The combination of multiple-valued source- coupled logic and differential-pair circuit makes it lower power consumption and more compact. The performance is evaluated by HSPICE simulation with 0.18 ~m CMOS technology. The power dissipa- tion, transistor numbers and delay are superior to corresponding binary CMOS implementation. Mul- tiple-valued logic will be the potential solution for the high performance arithmetic VLSI system in the future.展开更多

The proposed approach d...This paper presents an observer based dynamic fuzzy logic system (DFLS) scheme for a class of unknown single-input single-output (SISO) nonlinear dynamic systems with external disturbances. The proposed approach does not need the availability of the state variables. Within this scheme, the DFLS is employed to identify the unknown nonlinear dynamic system. The control law and parameter adaptation laws of the DFLS are derived based on Lyapunov synthesis approach. The control law is robustfied in H∞ sense to attenuate external disturbance, model uncertainties, and fuzzy approximation errors. It is shown that under appropriate assumptions, it guarantees the boundedness of all the signals in the closed-loop system and the asymptotic convergence to zero of tracking errors. The proposed method is applied to an inverted pendulum system to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.展开更多

The main advantages of this method over other techniques are its accuracy, as it is deterministic and it requires less computational effort compared to exhaustive simulation approaches. The methodology uses the Logic Pictures concept for obtaining the nodes’ toggle rates. This research paper tackles the complexities of achieving global fuzzy consensus in leader-follower systems in robotic systems,focusing on robust control systems against an advanced signal attack that integrates senso...This research paper tackles the complexities of achieving global fuzzy consensus in leader-follower systems in robotic systems,focusing on robust control systems against an advanced signal attack that integrates sensor and actuator disturbances within the dynamics of follower robots.Each follower robot has unknown dynamics and control inputs,which expose it to the risks of both sensor and actuator attacks.The leader robot,described by a secondorder,time-varying nonlinear model,transmits its position,velocity,and acceleration information to follower robots through a wireless connection.To handle the complex setup and communication among robots in the network,we design a robust hybrid distributed adaptive control strategy combining the effect of sensor and actuator attack,which ensures asymptotic consensus,extending beyond conventional bounded consensus results.The proposed framework employs fuzzy logic systems(FLSs)as proactive controllers to estimate unknown nonlinear behaviors,while also effectively managing sensor and actuator attacks,ensuring stable consensus among all agents.To counter the impact of the combined signal attack on follower dynamics,a specialized robust control mechanism is designed,sustaining system stability and performance under adversarial conditions.The efficiency of this control strategy is demonstrated through simulations conducted across two different directed communication topologies,underscoring the protocol’s adaptability,resilience,and effectiveness in maintaining global consensus under complex attack scenarios.展开更多

A novel adaptive fuzzy dynamic surface model is built to approximate the uncertain nonlinear functions by only one fuzzy logic system. The approximation capability of this model is proved and the model is implemented to solve the problem that too many approximators are used in the controller design of uncertain nonlinear systems. The shortage of "explosion of complexity" in backstepping design procedure is overcome by using the proposed dynamic surface control method. It is proved by constructing appropriate Lyapunov candidates that all signals of closed-loop systems are semi-globally uniformly ultimate bounded. Also, this novel controller stabilizes the states of uncertain nonlinear systems faster than the adaptive sliding mode controller (SMC). Two simulation examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the control approach proposed in this paper.展开更多

The methodology of this paper consists in the capture of relevant events that interfere with the flow of traffic of the city of Sao Paulo and implementation of a Fuzzy Neural Network trained with these events in order to foresee the traffic behavior. The system offers three labels of hierarchical routing, thus is possible to consider not only the basic factors of routing, but too external factors that directly influence on the flow of traffic and the disruption which may be avoided in large cities, through alternative routes (dynamic vehicle routing). Predicting the behavior of traffic represents the strategic level routing, dynamic vehicle routing is the tactical level, and routing algorithms to the operational level. Quickly getting back the synchronism of a disturbed interconnected multi-area power system due to variations in loading condition is recognized as prominent issue related to automatic generation control(AGC).In this r...Quickly getting back the synchronism of a disturbed interconnected multi-area power system due to variations in loading condition is recognized as prominent issue related to automatic generation control(AGC).In this regard,AGC system based on fuzzy logic,i.e.,so-called FLAGC can introduce an effectual performance to suppress the dynamic oscillations of tie-line power exchanges and frequency in multi-area interconnected power system.Apart from that,simultaneous coordination scheme based on particle swarm optimization(PSO)along with real coded genetic algorithm(RCGA)is suggested to coordinate FLAGCs of the all areas.To clarify the high efficiency of aforementioned strategy,two different interconnected multi-area power systems,i.e.,three-area hydro-thermal power system and five-area thermal power system have been taken into account for relevant studies.The potency of this strategy has been thoroughly dealt with by considering the step load perturbation(SLP)in both the under study power systems.To sum up,the simulation results have plainly revealed dynamic performance of FLAGC as compared with conventional AGC(CAGC)in each power system in order to damp out the power system oscillations.展开更多

文摘This research paper tackles the complexities of achieving global fuzzy consensus in leader-follower systems in robotic systems,focusing on robust control systems against an advanced signal attack that integrates sensor and actuator disturbances within the dynamics of follower robots.Each follower robot has unknown dynamics and control inputs,which expose it to the risks of both sensor and actuator attacks.The leader robot,described by a secondorder,time-varying nonlinear model,transmits its position,velocity,and acceleration information to follower robots through a wireless connection.To handle the complex setup and communication among robots in the network,we design a robust hybrid distributed adaptive control strategy combining the effect of sensor and actuator attack,which ensures asymptotic consensus,extending beyond conventional bounded consensus results.The proposed framework employs fuzzy logic systems(FLSs)as proactive controllers to estimate unknown nonlinear behaviors,while also effectively managing sensor and actuator attacks,ensuring stable consensus among all agents.To counter the impact of the combined signal attack on follower dynamics,a specialized robust control mechanism is designed,sustaining system stability and performance under adversarial conditions.The efficiency of this control strategy is demonstrated through simulations conducted across two different directed communication topologies,underscoring the protocol’s adaptability,resilience,and effectiveness in maintaining global consensus under complex attack scenarios.

文摘In this paper, a robust adaptive fuzzy dynamic surface control for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems is proposed. A novel adaptive fuzzy dynamic surface model is built to approximate the uncertain nonlinear functions by only one fuzzy logic system. The approximation capability of this model is proved and the model is implemented to solve the problem that too many approximators are used in the controller design of uncertain nonlinear systems. The shortage of "explosion of complexity" in backstepping design procedure is overcome by using the proposed dynamic surface control method. It is proved by constructing appropriate Lyapunov candidates that all signals of closed-loop systems are semi-globally uniformly ultimate bounded. Also, this novel controller stabilizes the states of uncertain nonlinear systems faster than the adaptive sliding mode controller (SMC). Two simulation examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the control approach proposed in this paper.

文摘In this paper, an adaptive dynamic control scheme based on a fuzzy neural network is presented, that presents utilizes both feed-forward and feedback controller elements. The former of the two elements comprises a neural network with both identification and control role, and the latter is a fuzzy neural algorithm, which is introduced to provide additional control enhancement. The feedforward controller provides only coarse control, whereas the feedback controller can generate on-line conditional proposition rule automatically to improve the overall control action. These properties make the design very versatile and applicable to a range of industrial applications.
文摘The challenge of keeping and getting new customers drives the development of new practices to meet the consumption needs of increasingly tends to micro-segmentation of product and consumer market. The new consumption habits of brazilians brought new prospects for market. The objective of this paper is to develop of a dynamic vehicle routing system supported by the behavior of urban traffic in the city ofSao Paulo using Neuro Fuzzy Network. The methodology of this paper consists in the capture of relevant events that interfere with the flow of traffic of the city of Sao Paulo and implementation of a Fuzzy Neural Network trained with these events in order to foresee the traffic behavior. The system offers three labels of hierarchical routing, thus is possible to consider not only the basic factors of routing, but too external factors that directly influence on the flow of traffic and the disruption which may be avoided in large cities, through alternative routes (dynamic vehicle routing). Predicting the behavior of traffic represents the strategic level routing, dynamic vehicle routing is the tactical level, and routing algorithms to the operational level. This paper will not be discussed the operational level.
文摘Quickly getting back the synchronism of a disturbed interconnected multi-area power system due to variations in loading condition is recognized as prominent issue related to automatic generation control(AGC).In this regard,AGC system based on fuzzy logic,i.e.,so-called FLAGC can introduce an effectual performance to suppress the dynamic oscillations of tie-line power exchanges and frequency in multi-area interconnected power system.Apart from that,simultaneous coordination scheme based on particle swarm optimization(PSO)along with real coded genetic algorithm(RCGA)is suggested to coordinate FLAGCs of the all areas.To clarify the high efficiency of aforementioned strategy,two different interconnected multi-area power systems,i.e.,three-area hydro-thermal power system and five-area thermal power system have been taken into account for relevant studies.The potency of this strategy has been thoroughly dealt with by considering the step load perturbation(SLP)in both the under study power systems.To sum up,the simulation results have plainly revealed dynamic performance of FLAGC as compared with conventional AGC(CAGC)in each power system in order to damp out the power system oscillations.
文摘The purpose of the present paper is to study the entropy hs(Ф) of a quantum dynamical systems Ф = ( L, s, Ф), where s is a bayessian state on an orthomodular lattice L. Having introduced the notion of entropy hs( Ф, A) of partition A of a Boolean algebra B with respect to a state s and a state preserving homomorphism Ф, we prove a few results on that, define the entropy of a dynamical system hs(Ф), and show its invariance. The concept of sufficient families is also given and we establish that hs (Ф) comes out to be equal to the supremum of hs (Ф,A), where A varies over any sufficient family. The present theory has then been extended to the quantum dynamical system ( L, s, Ф), which as an effect of the theory of commutators and Bell inequalities can equivalently be replaced by the dynamical system (B, s0, Ф), where B is a Boolean algebra and so is a state on B.

文摘High performance computer is often required by model predictive control(MPC) systems due to the heavy online computation burden.To extend MPC to more application cases with low-cost computation facilities, the implementation of MPC controller on field programmable gate array(FPGA) system is studied.For the dynamic matrix control(DMC) algorithm,the main design idea and the implemental strategy of DMC controller are introduced based on a FPGA’s embedded system.The performance tests show that both the computation efficiency and the accuracy of the proposed controller can be satisfied due to the parallel computing capability of FPGA.
文摘Series compensation has proven to increase stability in transmission of electric power. On the other hand insertion of series capacitor results in severe subsynchronous torques. The subsynchronous torque leads to generator-turbine shaft damage. Mitigation of subsynchronous transient torques is achieved through resistor bank connected to generator terminals. The insertion of resistor bank is controlled by fuzzy logic controller. The proposed controller has been tested on IEEE First Benchmark Model and it proved to have good damping for the torsional torques.
