SIM-Net:A Multi-Scale Attention-Guided Deep Learning Framework for High-Precision PCB Defect Detection

Defect detection in printed circuit boards(PCB)remains challenging due to the difficulty of identifying small-scale defects,the inefficiency of conventional approaches,and the interference from complex backgrounds.To address these issues,this paper proposes SIM-Net,an enhanced detection framework derived from YOLOv11.The model integrates SPDConv to preserve fine-grained features for small object detection,introduces a novel convolutional partial attention module(C2PAM)to suppress redundant background information and highlight salient regions,and employs a multi-scale fusion network(MFN)with a multi-grain contextual module(MGCT)to strengthen contextual representation and accelerate inference.Experimental evaluations demonstrate that SIM-Net achieves 92.4%mAP,92%accuracy,and 89.4%recall with an inference speed of 75.1 FPS,outperforming existing state-of-the-art methods.These results confirm the robustness and real-time applicability of SIM-Net for PCB defect inspection. 展开更多

Various types of vegetative cover,predominantly woodlands,shrublands,and grasslands,provide a range of habitats for urban organisms and are the main contributors to urban ecosystem services.The goal of this study was to assess the potential of different vegetation types in maintaining and enhancing bryophyte diversity in urban areas.Bryophytes,small non-vascular plants,in woodlands,shrublands,and grasslands in Hefei city(eastern China)were investigated,and their species richness,abundance,community composition and relationships with habitat characteristics were analysed.The results show that urban woodlands had the highest species richness and abundance of bryophytes and a distinct community composition compared with the other vegetation types.Relative light intensity had a positive effect on species richness in urban woodlands,whereas litter cover had a negative effect on abundance.Shrub,grass and litter covers,and relative air humidity were the main factors driving the differences in bryophyte species composition between woodlands and other vegetation types.Therefore,owing to their high potential to maintain bryophyte diversity,woodlands should receive increased attention during the construction of urban green spaces.In addition,promoting structural heterogeneity and increasing light availability would be beneficial to bryophyte species diversity. 展开更多

Circular Economy in Municipal Solid Waste Management: Innovations and Challenges for Urban Sustainability

Inefficient waste management systems contribute to environmental degradation, public health risks, and resource depletion, underscoring the need for innovative solutions. This review employing AI-driven sorting technologies in urban waste management as a transformative framework for sustainable MSW management, emphasizing waste reduction, resource recovery, and closed-loop systems. The paper synthesizes existing literature, case studies, and technological advancements to explore strategies for integrating CE principles into MSW management. Key areas of focus include the application of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data analytics;advancements in waste-to-resource technologies;the development of scalable and adaptable CE models tailored to diverse urban contexts;and fostering collaboration among governments, private sectors, and communities. Findings highlight the potential of CE frameworks to minimize waste generation, enhance resource efficiency, and create resilient urban systems. However, significant barriers remain, including technological, financial, and policy challenges. The review concludes by identifying future research directions and actionable recommendations for stakeholders, aiming to advance the global transition toward sustainable urban waste management. 展开更多

Fieldwork in Jiemuxi National Nature Reserve, Hunan, China, discovered morphologically indis- tinguishable groups of brown frogs that bred at different, exclusive times of the year. A principal components analysis of morphometric data, molecular analyses, and the exclusive breeding season suggested the occurrence of two species. The population that breeds during the winter was found to be an undescribed species and was subsequently described as Rana jiemuxiensis sp. nov. The new cryptic species can be identified from its congeners at the same locality by having a different breeding season and a divergent DNA barcode, Six major lineages of brown frogs were resolved with high nodal support. Rana japonica, R. chaochiaoensis, R. omeimontis, and R. jiemuxiensis have independent maternal lineages. Rana hanlunica and R. maoershanensis have essentially identical maternal lineages and they appear to represent the same species. The validity of the species R. longicrus, R. zhenhaiensis, and R. culaiensis and their genealogical relationships are not resolved and deserve further study. The genealogy indicates that sympatric cryptic lineages probably widely exist in the R. longicrus group. This highlights the importance of future more fine-scaled samplings and the inclusion of nuclear genes. 展开更多

The FeNi coated LaFe_(11.6)Si_(1.4)/Sn composites were prepared by hot pressing(HP). The microstructure,corrosion behavior and magnetocaloric effect(MCE) of FeNi coated LaFe_(11.6)Si_(1.4)/Sn composites were investigated systematically. The results show that the corrosion resistance of FeNi coated LaFe_(11.6)Si_(1.4)Sn composites is better than that of LaFe_(11.6)Si_(1.4)/Sn composites in deionized water. The maximum magnetic entropy change((-△S_M)^(max)) and relative cooling power(RCP) of FeNi coated LaFe_(11.6)Si_(1.4)/Sn composites are 13.30 J/(kg-K) and 146.25 J/kg, respectively, which are larger than that((-△S_M)^(max), 10.65 J/(kg·K) and RCP, 106.53 J/kg) of LaFe_(11.6)Si_(1.4)/Sn composites in a low magnetic field change of 2 T. FeNi coated LaFe_(11.6)Si_(1.4)/Sn composites possess a more negative slope. The improvement of magnetic properties is due to high permeability FeNi permalloy(1 J85) which improves the itinerant-electron metamagnetic(IEM) transition. So, the method of coating FeNi can provide a new idea for enhancing the corrosion resistance and magnetocaloric effect of La(Fe_xSi_(1-x))_(13)-based materials. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Pleural effusions occur for various reasons,and their diagnosis remains challenging despite the availability of different diagnostic modalities.Medical thoracoscopy(MT)can be used for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes,especially in patients with undiagnosed pleural effusion.AIM To assess the diagnostic efficacy and safety of MT in patients with pleural effusion of different causes.METHODS Between January 1,2012 and April 30,2021,patients with pleural effusion underwent MT in the Department of Respiratory Medicine,The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University(Shaanxi,China).According to the discharge diagnosis,patients were divided into malignant pleural effusion(MPE),tuberculous pleural effusion(TBPE),and inflammatory pleural effusion(IPE)groups.General information,and tuberculosis-and effusion-related indices of the three groups were analyzed.The diagnostic yield,diagnostic accuracy,performance under thoracoscopy,and complications of patients were compared among the three groups.Then,the significant predictive factors for diagnosis between the MPE and TBPE groups were analyzed.RESULTS Of the 106 patients enrolled in this 10-year study,67 were male and 39 female,with mean age of 57.1±14.184 years.Among the 74 thoracoscopy-confirmed patients,41(38.7%)had MPE,21 had(19.8%)TBPE,and 32(30.2%)were undiagnosed.Overall diagnostic yield of MT was 69.8%(MPE:75.9%,TBPE:48.8%,and IPE:75.0%,with diagnostic accuracies of 100%,87.5%,and 75.0%,respectively).Under thoracoscopy,single or multiple pleural nodules were observed in 81.1%and pleural adhesions in 34.0%with pleural effusions.The most common complication was chest pain(41.5%),followed by chest tightness(11.3%)and fever(10.4%).Multivariate logistic regression analyses showed effusion appearance[odds ratio(OR):0.001,95%CI:0.000-0.204;P=0.010]and carcinoembryonic antigen(OR:0.243,95%CI:0.081-0.728;P=0.011)as significant for differentiating MPE and TBPE,with area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.977(95%CI:0.953-1.000;P<0.001).CONCLUSION MT is an effective,safe,and minimally invasive procedure with high diagnostic yield for pleural effusion of different causes. 展开更多

Three pairs of b... AIM: To investigate the effects of entero-hepatic bile add circulation on the inter-digestive migrating myoelectrical complex (MMC) in rats. METHODS: Thirty-two rats were divided into four groups. Three pairs of bipolar silver electrodes were chronically implanted in the antrum, duodenum and jejunum. Three groups of Uhem were ligatecl around the upper part of common bile duct (CBD). The experiments were performed in consdous and fasting state. The gastrointestinal myoelectrical activity was recorded. Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) and saline were then perfused into stomachs of two groups with CBD obstruction and the effects of them on the MMC were observed. RESULTS: A typical pattern of MMC was observed in normal fasting rats. MMC of antral and duodenal origin disappeared temporarily in earlier stage of CBD obstruction. While MMC of jejunum origin appeared. increased MMC cycle duration was seen after 4 d in rats with CBD obstruction. The MMC after CBD obstruction was characterized by an increased duration of phase Ⅱ-like activity and decreased duration of phase Ⅰ & Ⅲ activity. Perfusion into stomachs with UDCA resulted in a shorter MMC cycle duration and a longer duration of phase III of duodenal origin compared to the normal group. CONCLUSION: Entero-hepatic bile add drculation initiates inter-digestive MMC of duodenal origin. 展开更多

Adult zebrafish has a remarkable capability to recover from spinal cord injury,providing an excellent model for studying neuro-regeneration. Here we list equipment and reagents,and give a detailed protocol for complete transection of the adult zebrafish spinal cord. In this protocol,potential problems and their solutions are described so that the zebrafish spinal cord injury model can be more easily and reproducibly performed.In addition,two assessments are introduced to monitor the success of the surgery and functional recovery:one test to assess free swimming capability and the other test to assess extent of neuroregeneration by in vivo anterograde axonal tracing.In the swimming behavior test,successful complete spinal cord transection is monitored by the inability of zebrafish to swim freely for 1 week after spinal cord injury,followed by the gradual reacquisition of full locomotor ability within 6 weeks after injury.As a morphometric correlate,anterograde axonal tracing allows the investigator to monitor the ability of regenerated axons to cross the lesion site and increasingly extend into the gray and white matter with time after injury,confirming functional recovery.This zebrafish model provides a paradigm for recovery from spinal cord injury,enabling the identification of pathways and components of neuroregeneration. 展开更多

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the influences of helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection, liver function, gastroesophageal varicosity, esophageal varicosity ligation (EVL), and esophageal varicosity sclerotherapy (EVS) on patients with portal hypertensive gastropathy (PHG). METHODS: Fourty-seven patients with liver cirrhosis included 34 patients with PHG and 13 patients without PHG. Liver function, Hp infection, and gastroesophageal varicosity were investigated clinically in all patients, and gastroscopy was made again in patients with EVL 1-2 months after operation to observe the changes of PHG. RESULTS: The rate of Hp infection was lower in patients with liver cirrhosis than in controls. There was no relationship between Hp infection and PHG. The patients with gastroesophageal varicosity had a high incidence of PHG. CONCLUSIONS: Despite no relationship between Hp infection and PHG, liver dysfunction can affect and promote PHG. Gastroesophageal varicosity may be closely related to PHG, but their degrees are not related. PHG can be caused or promoted by EVL. 展开更多

In the process of human survival and development, it is inevitable to transform the original state of the world, thus forming a contradiction between the earth and the earth. The violent form of this contradiction is geological disasters. Geological disasters pose a threat to human life and property, and cause damage caused by natural or human factors, often causing casualties. The destruction process of geological disasters is usually a gradual process, showing many pre-disaster symptoms, such as local landslides, surface cracks, building deformation, tree skew, and ground sound. Evacuation can be avoided in advance according to the disaster precursors, so as to avoid casualties and achieve successful prediction. By reviewing the general situation of geological disasters in Shaanxi Province and the casualties in 2020, the difficulties in the prevention and control of geological disasters are summarized. In view of these difficulties, an on-site investigation, visit and analysis of geological disaster points and successful forecast points in Shaanxi Province in 2020 were conducted. In addition, combined with actual cases and years of work experience, the successful prediction experience of geological disasters was discussed from 8 aspects. Finally, the “Regulations on the Reward for Successful Geological Disaster Forecasting in Shaanxi Province” was revised in order to improve the successful prediction ability of geological disasters in Shaanxi Province and even the whole country, provide reference for future prevention and control of geological disasters, and effectively protect the safety of people’s lives and property. 展开更多

This paper presents a new control strategy based on current differential feedback to accelerate the dynamic response of electromagnetic actuators, instead of traditional closed-loop control based on displacement feedback. The method mainly includes a differentiator, proportioner and signal synthesizer. Analysis and simulation on the step characteristics of an electromagnetic actuator were discussed, and all the results show that the approach can improve the actuator's step response greatly. Finally, the control method is applied to a real gravure system which verifies the control performance. 展开更多

Effects of adjuvant raw rhubarb enema therapy on systemic inflammatory stress response and intestinal mucosal barrier function in patients with severe pancreatitis

Objective: To investigate the effects of adjuvant raw rhubarb enema therapy on systemic inflammatory stress response and intestinal mucosal barrier function in patients with severe pancreatitis. Methods: A total of 78 patients with severe pancreatitis treated in the Second People's Hospital of Neijiang, Sichuan, China between December 2016 and September 2018 were included in the study. The patients were divided into control group (n=39) and raw rhubarb group (n=39) by simple randomization. The control group of patients received conventional treatment of severe pancreatitis with western medicine, while the raw rhubarb group of patients received raw rhubarb enema on the basis of the treatment of control group, and the efficacy was evaluated after continuous treatment for 1 week. The differences in serum levels of inflammatory mediators (high mobility group protein B1, C-reactive protein, prostaglandin E2 and tumor necrosis factor α), stress hormones (cortisol and epinephrine) as well as intestinal mucosal barrier function indicators (D-lactate, endotoxin and diamine oxidase) were compared between the two groups of patients before and after treatment. Results: Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in serum levels of inflammatory mediators, stress hormones and intestinal mucosal barrier function indicators between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, serum high mobility group protein B1, C-reactive protein, prostaglandin E2 and tumor necrosis factor levels of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group;cortisol and epinephrine levels were significantly lower than those of the control group;D-lactate, endotoxin and diamine oxidase levels were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions:Adjuvant raw rhubarb enema therapy on the basis of western medicine can help alleviate the inflammatory stress response and optimize the intestinal mucosal barrier function in patients with severe pancreatitis. 展开更多

目的目的研究肠道准备期间患者低血糖风险及护理干预措施的前瞻性分析。方法方法择取2022年1月-2023年1月收治100例肠镜检查患者为观察对象,采取盲选法将收治者分成两个护理小组,对照组与观察组各50例患者,前者接受常规护理干预,后者接... 目的目的研究肠道准备期间患者低血糖风险及护理干预措施的前瞻性分析。方法方法择取2022年1月-2023年1月收治100例肠镜检查患者为观察对象,采取盲选法将收治者分成两个护理小组,对照组与观察组各50例患者,前者接受常规护理干预,后者接受低血糖风险管理及护理干预。对比两组低血糖发生情况、肠镜检查时间、肠道清洁度、不良事件发生率、护理满意度。结果观察组低血糖发生率6.0%,显著低于对照组低血糖发生率16.0%,对比有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组肠镜进镜时间/滞留时间、肠镜抽出时间/退镜时间、检查总时间均短于对照组,两组记录时间比较有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组肠道清洁度明显高于对照组清洁度,两组结果对比差异显著(P<0.05)。观察组不良事件发生率4.0%,明显少于对照组不良事件发生率12.0%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组护理满意度94.0%,显著高于对照组护理满意度78.0%,二者比较差异较大(P<0.05)。结论结论肠道准备期间积极落实低血糖风险管理,可有效起到防治作用,可加快肠镜检查效率,提高肠道清洁度,其他不良事件发生率显著降低,整体护理满意度较高,具有值得推广的价值。 展开更多

Background:Ketamine demonstrates therapeutic potential but also high abuse liability.The neurobiological mechanisms underlying its addiction remain unclear.This study employs integrated metabolomics and proteomics to investigate alterations in endogenous metabolites and proteins across brain regions and plasma in a rat model of ketamine addiction.Materials and Methods:A ketamine addiction model was established by repeated administration(20 mg/kg)in Sprague–Dawley rats,with behavioral validation through conditioned place preference(CPP).Prefrontal cortex(PFC),striatum,and plasma samples were analyzed using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-Q-Orbitrap mass spectrometry-based metabolomics and TMT-based quantitative proteomics.Multivariate statistics and joint multiomics pathway analysis were applied.Results:Ketamine administration induced significant CPP(P<0.05).Proteomics revealed 245 differentially expressed proteins in the PFC,enriched in dopaminergic,glutamatergic,and GABAergic synapses,and 188 in the striatum related to Alzheimer’s disease,retrograde endocannabinoid,and cAMP signaling.Plasma proteomics showed 156 differential proteins,primarily involved in complement,coagulation cascades,glycolysis,and gluconeogenesis.In the PFC,60 metabolites were altered,like amino sugar and nucleotide sugar metabolism,while 132 metabolites in the striatum were linked to retrograde endocannabinoid signaling(ECS),dopaminergic synapse,and purine metabolism.Plasma metabolomics identified significant changes,such as arginine and proline metabolism.Joint multiomics pathway analysis highlighted consistent disruptions in glutamate/glutamine metabolism,retrograde ECS,purine metabolism,etc.,across tissues.Conclusion:Ketamine addiction induces system-wide alterations in energy metabolism and neurotransmitter systems,with pronounced effects in the PFC and striatum,and detectable changes in plasma.These findings elucidate key enriched and interconnected metabolic pathways,advancing our mechanistic understanding of ketamine addiction and revealing potential targets for intervention. 展开更多
