摘要
为查明国家一级重点保护动物小灵猫(Viverricula indica)在古丈县的种群数量和分布情况,2022年2月~2023年3月利用红外相机技术对古丈县域小灵猫种群进行了调查。共布设红外相机78台,其中72台有效工作,共拍摄小灵猫有效照片146张。数据分析发现古丈县域小灵猫的种群密度为0.122只/km2,资源总数约为158只;小灵猫夜间丰富度大于13/24,具有明显夜行性,活跃高峰时段为21:00~22:00和4:00~5:00;生境分析发现,小灵猫在400~800 m海拔范围内拍摄率较高,活动位点坡度0~50,植被类型主要为针阔混交林的地区。以上结果揭示了小灵猫在古丈县的种群数量、活动节律和生境情况,为在当地更好地开展小灵猫种群保护提供了科学数据。
To investigate the population and distribution of the small Indian civet (Viverricula indica), a first-class nationally protected animal in China, an infrared camera survey was conducted in Guzhang County from February 2022 to March 2023. A total of 78 infrared cameras were deployed, with 72 functioning effectively, capturing 146 valid photographs of the small Indian civet. Data analysis revealed that the population density of the small Indian civet in Guzhang County was 0.122 individuals/km², with an estimated total population of approximately 158. The nocturnal activity index exceeded 13/24, indicating strong nocturnal behavior, with peak activity periods in 21:00~22:00 and 4:00~5:00. Habitat analysis showed that the small Indian civet had a higher detection rate at elevations of 400~800 m, with activity sites predominantly on slopes of 0~50 and in areas with mixed coniferous-broadleaf forests. These findings provide insights into the population size, activity pattern, and habitat preference of the small Indian civet in Guzhang County, offering scientific data to support its conservation efforts in the region.
