中国在海洋资源方面拥有得天独厚的区位及环境优势,然而这千百年与生俱来的优势到了上世纪末本世纪初才得到充分的重视与利用。作为国民经济的新增长点,我国的海洋经济正在借风扬帆,加速前进。
China is abundant in ocean resources and has anespecially advantageous position.However,people didnot take such advantages fully until the 21st century.Issued in Feb.19th 2004,the 2003 statistic report ofChina Ocean Economy showed us the vigorous vitalityof the ocean industry.In 2003,the total productionvalue of China Ocean Industry exceeded a thousandbillion for the first time.Under corresponding positivepolicy,the fishery,salt industry and shipbuilding havecome into being,the rising industries,such asmariculture,oceanographic biomedicine,andespecially the ocean petroleum and natural gasindustry,are facing a wide space for rapiddevelopment.Now,how to keep the developmentgoing and how to change the ocean industry fromesource-type to service-type is undoubtedly the
current focus.
