摘要
国际法在保护妇女人权方面起了很好和很重要的作用,但也存在一些缺陷。主要是:注意对妇女公权利的保护、较轻视私权利的保护;主权国家的保留影响了它的功用;国际法由男性控制,难以充分地表达妇女的意愿;本身的执行机制不完善;传统的国际人权观念的影响。为加强对妇女的保护,应努力弥补这些缺陷。
The International Law has been playing an important and beneficial role in defending women' s rights, but there still exist some defects as well, i.e., it emphasizes the defense of women' s public rights while neglects relatively their private ones; the reservation of sovereign states affects its normal function; male dominance deprives women of their freedom in expressing their wishes; the executive system is not perfect....In order to safeguard the rights of women, it is of urgency to make up for all these defects.
