This paper expounds the conception,availabilities,features and developm entofthe reinforced earth tech- nique,introduces the dom estic and foreign theoretical research and engineering application of the reinforced earth tech- nique,and points out the design m ethods and application features of the reinforced barricade,reinforced slope and rein- forced cushion thathave been widely used in the engineering.
