摘要
讨论了ORACLE数据库空闲碎片的产生和对ORACLE系统性能的影响。在此基础上,提出了自由空间碎片索引计算机模型用于评估数据库获取自由空间的可能性,并利用程序对ORACLE表空间的空间使用情况进行映象输出,最后讨论了空闲区碎片的合并问题。
This paper analyses the origin of Oracle free extent fragmentation and its effect on Oracle DBMS performance, based on which FSFI calculation model is put forward to evaluate the probability of database acquirement for free space. A small script is presented to map the utilization of some tablespace.The problems of coalition of extents is discussed.
