本文给出偏振光和偏振器件一种新的利用四元数的表示。应用这种表示重新证明了由一系列延迟器和旋转器组成的光学系统的等效定理,并且引入一种新的计算上述系统的 Mueller
This paper presents a new representation of polarized light and polarizing de- vices using quaternion.By means of the representation the equivalence theorem for the optical systems containing any number of retarders and rotators has been proved once again and a new calculus for the Mueller matrixes of the abovementioned systems has been introduced.
