摘要
西文图书书目数据库是图书馆书目数据库的重要组成部分 ,其规范化和标准化程度直接影响到数据库的质量。本文针对我国西文图书书目数据库的现状 ,探讨了数据库建设采用的标准、数据源、建库方式 ,以及在建库过程中应注意的几个问题 ,希望尽快实行联机联合编目 ,早日实现全国乃至全球的资源共享。
Catalog databases for western books are the important parts of the catalog databases in libraries. Their level of standardization has great influence on the quality of databases. In this paper, the author discusses the present of catalog databases for western books, their standards, their sources, the ways of construction and some aspects we should pay attention to in database construction. We hope we'll soon be able to realize combining catalog and share the resources around the world.
