摘要
周人与猃狁的战争是有周一代的重大历史事件。猃狁本居西部瓜州 ,入周以后逐渐分为南北两支向东迁徙扩展 ,其迁徙扩展的踪迹大致可考。周人与猃狁的战事主要发生在西周晚期 ,但也延及到东周初年。此外 ,与这一重大历史事件密切相关的 ,还有东周初年丰镐的归属 ,西周时期周王朝对南方的用兵 ,宣王时期南北用兵的先后关系 ,以及《诗·小雅》的年代等等 ,这些问题亦有必要重新认识。
The war against the Xianyun was one of the most important events in the Zhou dynasty.The Xianyun,who once dwelt in the west at Guazhou,split into a southern and a northern division and began their eastward migration after they were conquered by the Zhou.Most of their migration route is traceable.The war between them and the Zhou occurred mainly in the late Western Zhou dynasty and extended into the early Eastern Zhou.Other developments related to this major historical event include the ownership of Fenghao during the early years of the Eastern Zhou,the armed invasion to the south in the Western Zhou,the sequence of the armed incursions to the south and the north during the reign of King Xuan,and the date of“Xiao Ya”in the Book of Songs.The article provides new insights in these issues.
