间隔号的用法目前在媒体上仍颇为混乱,主要表现在:汉人的名字内部竟然也用间隔号;含有月日简称表示时间、节日和其他意义的词组,月份不是一月、十一月、十二月的也用了用间隔号,是一月、十一月、十二月的反而没用;并列词语间本该用顿号的用了间隔号。
The usage of separtion dot still has some confusion in medium. First, separation dot can be seen in Chinese names. Second, there is also separation dot in the abbreviation for month and day expressing time, festival or other special meanings, while the month is not January, November, December. Third, the separation dot is used instead of little commas between coordinate phrases.
