The potentials of Chinas hydrocarbon resources has risen as an important factor influencing the current policies of the country. Chinas oil industry is a developing industry. Gas reservoirs can be classified in light of their accumulation mechanisms into six types: water-sealed gas, hydrate, dissolved gas, conventional entrapped gas, capillary gas and adsorbed gas.
