摘要
根据对中国历代有籍可查的2,651位藏书家籍贯地的统计分析,系统的阐述中国历代藏书家地理分布、藏书中心形成和转移的特点及其原因,特别是与社会经济发展、社会动乱、政治中心的形成和转移、造纸和印刷技术的发明和普及应用、藏书传统继承性及其他文化因素的关系。
According to statistics and analyses of geographic origins of 2,651 Chinese book collectors in history, this paper exposits systematically these collectors geographic distribution, the forming and moving of the book collection centers:(1) The number of Chinese book collector increased rapidly with time, but obviously leap and fluctuatedly. The whole history can be divided into four periods: Chun-Qiu Period to Jin Dynasty, Nan-Bei Dynasty to Sui Dynasty, Song Dynasty to Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty; (2) The whole book collectors' geographic origins were collectively scattered in South-East seaside area from Hebei to Guangdong(75.4%), especially in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian(64.3%); (3) The majority of the whole collectors' geographic origins belong to South(85.1%); (4) The distribution difference between South and North can be divided into two periods: the Wu—Dai Period and its before, the most book collectors belong to North(75.2%); After the Wu—Dai Period, the most book collectors belong to South(88.4%); (5) The area of book collector's geographic origins expended gradually from several provinces to almost all of the whole country; (6) Every period, there always had a one or several private book collection centers. During the whole history, the centers are moved from west to east and form north to south, and progressively become a stair distribution: core area-peripheral area of the core-spread area-blank area.The result shows after analyses the economy, social upheaval and some cultural factors that influences the private book collection centers' forming and moving: (1) Maintain social environment and prosperous economy are decisive the book collector's growth and distribution, so it determines the center's growth and stable existence; (2) Social upheaval is a coercive factor to the centers' movement and disappearance; (3) No-culture political environment in long time period make important affection to the book collector group's shrivel; (4) Politic center make some affection but not decided one; (5) The invention and spread of technology relative with book production, culture action, growth, distribution and movement of the group about book collection has close relation with collector group's growth, distribution, and movement; (6) Book collection tradition and basement has obvious historical continuity. So it also has some affection to the distribution of book collector.
