摘要
通过SEM断口分析及金相组织、力学性能、微区成分分析等检验,得出某汽车前轴早期失效的主要原因是由于锻热工艺控制不当,造成零件表面脱碳和金相组织粗大,材料韧性储备低(冲击值仅为10J),一旦萌生疲劳裂纹则将迅速扩展导致前轴断裂。
The reason of early failure of a heavy duty truck front axle was analyzd through SEM observation of fracture surface, examination and microarea composition, metallographic structure and mechanical properties. The very low impact toughness resulting from coarse microstructure with glanular bainite and surface decarbonization was the main reason, indicating improper heat treatment and forging. Once fatigue crack initiated, it rapidly propagated and caused early failure of the front axle.
