中国人民银行2004年第一季度金融统计资料表明:今年以来,中国人民银行继续实行稳健的货币政策,保持货币政策的稳定性和连续性,加强预调和微调,加大公开市场操作力度,控制基础货币的增长,引导货币信贷适度增长。今年一季度金融运行继续保持平稳,促进了国民经济平稳、快速、健康发展。
Financial statistics of the first quarter of 2004 indicate, the People's Bank of China continuously conducted sound monetary policy and strengthened its preemptive and fine-tuning policy measures as well as open market operations to control the growth of base money and guide appropriate expansion of money and credit. Financial industry performance remained stable in the first quarter, contributing to the steady, rapid and healthy development of the Chinese economy.
