摘要
本文在分析公共图书馆弱势群体构成的基础上,指出为弱势群体服务是公共图书馆的神圣使命和基本职责。最后提出公共图书馆要采取各种措施为弱势群体服务,其中包括建立弱势群体读者信息库,提供图书馆设施,设立流动图书馆,开展弱势群体用户教育和培训,尤其是要利用现代技术为弱势群体服务。
The paper presents the concept of the disadvantaged and points out that it is the mission andfunction for public libraries to serve the disadvantaged. At last, the author suggests that public librariesshould adopt all kind of measures to serve users, such as recording the disadvantaged, setting up mobilelibraries, instructing and training users, and especially serving the group via the through Internet.
