地理信息系统是集计算机科学、地理学、信息科学和管理科学等相关学科为一体的新兴学科。它以各种类型的地理或空间数据为基础,在计算机软、硬件支持下,对空间相关数据进行采集、管理、操 作、分析、模拟和显示,并用地理模拟方法,适时提供对规 划、管理、决策和科研的服务。
GIS integrates the knowledge from computer science, geography, Information science and management science. It bases on the various types of geographic or special data, conduct certain analysis, management, maneuver, imitation and representation through computer software and hardware. It can serve appropriately the planning, administration, decision-making and R&D entities through geographic imitation.
