高校图书馆在高校素质教育中具有非常重要的地位 ,具体表现为高校图书馆是高校素质教育的“第二课堂” ;她担负着教育计划和课堂教学不能完成的学生全面素质教育的任务 ;她提供了“环境育人”的学习环境和氛围 ;她的馆员是高校素质教育中的信息“导航员” ;她的文献信息资源为高校素质教育提供了“文献信息育人”的知识源泉。高校图书馆在其成长过程中发展和完善了自身的职能 ,即保存人类文化遗产、文献保障、传递文化信息、思想教育四大职能。这些职能使得她在高校素质教育中得以发挥独特而重要的作用 ,以适应高校素质教育的需要。
Library of university plays an important role in quality education,considering that the library is the second class of quality education in university.It undertakes the task of whloe quality education which can not be completed according by schedule and class teaching.It provides the environment for environmental education. The librarian is the information navigator in the quality education of the university. The literature supplies knowledge resources for the quality education in university. Library of university has improved its functions during development,such as man'cultural heritage,literature safeguard,cultural information delivering and thought education. These functions make it play a special and important role in the quality education in university,so as to be able to meet the need of quality education in university.
