摘要
本文对高原鼠兔(Ochotona curzoniae)脑的大体结构进行了详细描述,并同系统发育地位相隔较近的家兔和鼠类的脑进行了比较.高原鼠兔脑的基本特征是:前脑和小脑较发达,小脑尤为显著;四叠体较短;延髓前部和后部近直角弯曲;菱形窝完全被蚓部覆盖;和嗅觉有联系的结构,如嗅球,嗅叶,海马、纹状体和脑下垂体等发育好,大脑平滑无沟,属平脑型.高原鼠兔脑的形态结构,同家兔者极似,反映出高原鼠兔处于哺乳类中较低级的水平,同时揭示了脑的形态大小与动物的进化水平、生态环境和习性有密切关系.
This paper describes in detail the gross structure of the brain of theplateau pika and compares the brain of the plateau pika with that of ra-bbit and rat,for their phylogenetic position is close.The brain of theplateau pika is in general characterized by the large size of the forebrainand aspecially of cerebellum,the relatively short corpus callosum,the ri-ght angle formed between the anterior and posterior part of medulla obl-ongate,the full coverage of fossa rhomboideus by vermis,good developm-ent of Structure associated with the olfactory reception,such as bulbusolfactorius,lobus olfactorius,hippocampus,corpus striatum and hypoph-ysis,the smoothness of the surface of cerebrum and lack of fissure,as itbelongs to lissencephalic brain.The morphology and structure of the pl-ateau pika brain are very similar to that of rabbit,this shows that theplateau pika is in a lower level of development among mammalia in ph-ylogeny.It also reveals that the pattern and size of animal brain is clo-sely related to taxonomic levels,ecolodical niches and habits of animals.
