摘要
1985年在湖北省采到一种恙螨,经研究鉴定为一新属新种,现记述如下,文中测量单位为微米。 徐氏恙螨属Hsuella新属 鉴别特征:恙螨亚科中盾板近长方形,宽大于长,板后缘向后略突。板上除1对感毛外尚有7根毛,即1根前中毛,1对前侧毛和2对后侧毛。螯鞘毛具密分枝(Ga=B),鬚跗毛式汀fT=7B。 本新属为纪念我国著名螨类学家徐荫祺教授而命名。
In 1985 a new chigger mite was collected from Hubei Province and diagnosed as a new genus and species.Hsuella gen. nov.Diagnosis: Chigger mite of the subfamily Trombiculinae with rectangular scutum and possess seven scutal setae, i.e. a single AM, one pair of AL and 2 pairs of PL. Galeal setae branched, fT = 7B.This new genus is named in remembrance of the late Prof. Yin-chi Hsu of Shanghai Medical University.Type species: Hsuella hubeiensis sp. nov.Hsuella hubeiensis sp. nov. (figs. 1-2)Moderate chigger, length 351-511 μ, width 230-298 μ. Cheliceral claw with tricuspid cap. Palpal claw 3-pronged, fp = N-N-BNN/7B Posterior margin of scutum broadly rounded. PL1/SB/PL2.Standard measurement (average): AW 84, PW1 108, PW2 95 SB 44, ASB 31, PSB 14, AP, 27, AP, 34, AM 77, AL 53, PL, 79, PL2 77, Sn--.Two pairs of eyes. Dorsal setae similar to that of subgenus Plumosicola of genus Trom-biculindus, 40-42 in number, arranged as 2-10-8-8-8-6(4), ventral secae 42-46 in namber. Seta of coxa III situated 15 μ, beyond the anterior coxal margin. Leg I 319-330 μ, leg II 307-315 μ, leg III 358-359 μ. Special setae on three legs shown in table.Holotype and paratypes, 2 larvae, collected off Apodemus agrarius on Mar. 1985 from Jiangjiamiao, Yichang County, Hubei Province. Holotype and 1 paratype deposited in the Department of Parasitology, Fujian Medical College, and another 1 paratype deposited in Yichang District Anti-Epidemic Station, Hubei Province.
