本文记述萤叶甲亚科日萤叶甲属Japonitata Strand四新种,分别采自西藏墨脱地区、湖北神农架、云南西双版纳等地。模式标本分别保存在中国科学院动物研究所和上海昂虫研究所。 红日萤叶甲Japonitata ruficollis新种 棕红色;腹面棕黄;触角黄色,端末1节或2节黑色。 头部光亮,上唇较小,宽约为长的1.5倍,前缘完整,表面中部有一排具刚毛的刻点;额唇基呈三角形隆凸,无刻点;额瘤较平,不甚显突,横形,前内角向触角间延伸;头顶微凸,无刻点。触角微短于体长,第2节短小,第3节略短于第2节的两倍。
This paper reports four new species of Japonitata Strand, collected from Xizang, Hubei and Yunnan. The type specimens are kept in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica, Beijing and Institute of Entomology, Shanghai.Japonitata ruficollis sp. nov.Reddish-brown; underside yellowish-brown; antenna flavous with black terminal segment.Frontoclypeus slightly raised, irnpunctate; antenna slightly shorter than the body, second segment very small, third shorter than twice as Ions as second, fourth distinctly longer than third, fifth to eighth about equal In length. Pronotum about 1.7 times as broad as long, disc almost impunctate, fovcolate on each side of middle . Ⅴ. 1980.Easily distinguished from its congeners with a single humeral costa by reddish-biown colour.Japonitata abdominalis sp. nov.Piceous to black, antenna piceous, abdomen flavous.Frontoclypeus triangular, strongly raised; frontal tubercles evident, oblique; occiput smooth,, slightly convex, very finely punctate. Antenna 1/2 as long as body, second segment small, as broad as long, third twice as long as second, fourth shorter than third, from fifth to terminal segment slightly thickened, fifth shorter than fourth, sixth and seventh about equal, ninth small, as broad as long, with strongly producted exterior terminal angle, of which a knob at the tip (fig. I). Pronotum about twice as broad as long, very finely punctate, basal 2/3 concave. Elytra obviously wider than pronotum at base, rather fine'y and closely punctate; humeral callus strongly raised, each elytron with two quite sharp humeral costae, of which interspace slightly depressed and rugulosus.Length: 3.3-3.5mm., breadth: 2mm.Holotype (?), Xizang: Medog, 750-1050 m, 2. Ⅴ. 1980.Resembling J. amennata Chen et Jiang in general appearance, but differs in the colour of antenna and legs, form of terminal 8-10 segments of antenna (fig. 2).Japoniiata hongpingana sp. nov.Castaneous, shining; antenna (terminal 4 segments brown) and legs smoky.Front tubercles slightly raised, finely rugulosus. Antenna third segment shorter than twice as long as second, third and fourth about equal in length, fifth and sixth slightly shorter chant fourth, seventh distinctly shorter than sixth,-ninth very small, slightly broader than long, tenth, about equal to ninth in length, with strongly produced exterior terminal angle (fig. 3). Pro-noturn more than twice as broad as long, disc indistinctly punctate, with a weak depression before the middle and a transverse depression on each side of middle. Elytra very finely punctured, each with two sharp humeral costae. .Length: 3.2 mm., broadth: 2 mm.Holotype (?), Hubei: Hongping, 1600 m, 13. Ⅶ. 1980.Allied to J. antennata Chen et Jiang and J. abdominalis in (?), but differs from the former in the form of antenna a.nd genitalia (figs. 4, 5) and from the latter in the form of 9-10 segments of antenna.Japonitata semifulva sp. nov.Head, antenna, prothorax and femora yellowish-brown; scutellum, elytra and tarsi piceous, tibia pale piceous, abdomen flavous.Frontoclypeus rather strongly raised, nearly triangular. Antenna filiform, second segment very small, third about 3 times as long as second, fourth slightly shorter than third, fifth slightly shorter than fourth, sixth to eighth nearly equal in length. Pronotum about 2.5 times as broad as long, anterior margin slightly concave, basal margin convex, lateral margin rather straight; surface depression mostly, finely punctured on the anterior part. Scutellum triangular, impun-ctate. Elytra coarsely and closely wrinkled, with a quite sharp humeral costa.
