本文记述青海省瘤虻属一新种,以及过去未记载的Haemetopota ustulata(Kr(?)ber),Tabanus grandicaudus Xu,的雄虫。模式标本保存于中国科学院动物研究所。 1.无带瘤虻Hybomitra(Tibetomyia)afasciata新种(图1)
This paper describes a new species and two males of Haematopota ustulata (Krober) and! Tabanus grandicaudus Xu. Types are deposited in the Institute of 'Zoology, Academia Sinica.Hybomitra (Tibetomyia) afasciata sp. nov. (fig. 1)Female. Length 13mm. Eye unhanded (relaxed). Front ,broad with brown short hairs, parallel-sided, index 1:1.7-2.5. Basal callus round shiny black, separated from eye laterally. Middle callus spear connected with basal callus. Ocellar tubercle black, round. Vertex with black hairs. The scape gray pollinosed and with black long hairs; pedicel red-brown, with black hairs; flagellum black, rather narrow and long red-brown basally, dorsal angle indistinct, style stubby. Palpal II narrow long brownish with long white hairs and black hairs. Beard white, long and dense. Scutum and scutellum black mixed with black and white long hairs. Pleura and sternum black with dense long white hairs and a few black hairs. Wing hyaline, vein brown, wing spots along cross-vein, vein R4 without a spur vein. Femora black, fore femora with black long hairs, mid and hind femora with white long hairs; basal 4/5 of fore-tibiae brown, the remainder bkck, posterior four tibiae brown with long white and black hairs; tarsi brown, with short black hairs, Halteres brown, knob black. Abdominal tergites black with white hairs, tergite Ⅱ with indistinctsmall brown spot laterally. Each tergite with pale posterior margin. Sternites black, with thin gray pollinose, covered with dense white hairs and with narrow white band at the posterior margin of each sternite.Male. Unknown.Holotype (?), Qilian Mountains, Qinghai Province, 2800 m. July 29, 1977, collected by Wang Zun-ming. Paratypes 6(?) same as the holotype.This new species very similar to Hybotnitra (Tibetomyia) mat (Liu), but differs in having eyes unbanded (relaxed), basal callus round and distinct, without distinct triangles on the ter-gites.Haematopota ustulata (Krober) (fig. 2)Male. Length 9 mm. Facets of upper area of eye larger than the lower. Subcallus with a velvety black spot, cheeks and face with gray pollinosity and dense while hairs. Scape oval shaped, black; pedicel small with black hairs; flag-ellum orange colored, with black hairs basal-ly, style stubby. Palpal II oval in shape, brownish, with yellowish long hairs. Beard dense and yellowish- Wing brown, with rosetted spots. Fore fibia with basal 1/5 brownish posterior four tibiae each with two brownish bands, Halteres yellowish, knob brown. Tergites black, with black hains, tergines Ⅳ-Ⅵ with round white spots laterally. Posterior margin of each triangle with a pale narrow band, tergite Ⅱ with gray median triangle.Records; Huangzhong County, Qinghai Province, 2700 m. July 16, 1977.Tabanus gradicaudus Xu (lig. 3)Male. Length 20 mm. Facets of upper area of eyes longer than lower. Head longer than thorax and abdomen. Antennae orange, narrow. Palpal II long oral, brownish, with yellow hairs. Thorax and abdomen yellow, covered with concolorous hairs, tergites Ⅵ-Ⅶ black.Records: Omei Mountain, Sichuan Province, 1800-2000 m. August 27, 1957.
