摘要
烟青虫(Heliothis assulta)感染核型多角体病毒后测定96小时及24小时内呼吸率的变化。在96小时内,正常幼虫呼吸率趋于平衡,保持在1.0154—1.0955微升氧气/毫克鲜重/小时之间,而染病幼虫的呼吸率逐日降低,最低降到0.5521微升氧气/毫克鲜重/小时。在24小时内正常幼虫的呼吸率亦维持在1.4870—1.6663微升氧气/毫克鲜重/小时的水平,而感染幼虫的呼吸率与正常的不同,在6—12小时出现一个高峰,18小时后开始下降。染病幼虫呼吸率和体重的变化相一致,均比正常幼虫的低。正常和染病幼虫呼吸率随温度升高而升高。
Rate of oxygen consumption was measured in the fifth instar H. asmlta larvae infeced with nuclear polyhedrosis virus (NPV) during the first 96 hours. The healthy tobacco budworm had a stable oxygen consumption rate ranged from 1.0154 to 1.0955μ1 O2/mg/hr at 21℃. However, those infected with NPV had a relatively low oxygen, consumption its minimum of oxygen consumption was 0.5521 μ1 O2/mg/hr.In the course of 24 hrs the rate of oxygen consumption of healthy larvae was maintained at the level of 1.4870--1.6663 μ1 O2/mg/hr at 26℃. The oxygen consumption of the infected larvae was similiar to that of the healthy at the 6th hour after infection, and at the 12th hour infection it reched a peak which had a 15% increase as compared with that of the healthy. This elevated oxygen consumption of the infected larvae exhibited a progressive decrease after 12 hours. The experimental results also showed that the change of body weight of infected larvae was in accordance with that of respiration rate. The respiration rate increase with the experimental temperature.
