摘要
对于面向对象数据库(OODB)来说,最大的挑战是建立一个在性能、一致性、完整性、可靠性和灵活性上优良的数据库。通过对现有的面向对象数据库的分析研究,对OODB的数据模型及其有关的核心技术进行了深入探讨,并提出了一些具体的解决办法。最后得出,面向对象数据库不仅对面向对象语言是一个补充,而且还优化了现有的关系模型。
It is the biggest challenge for OODB to create a database which has good performance, consistency, integration, reliability and flexibility. The paper puts forward some methods by analyzing current OODB and by studying OODB data model and its core technology. OODB is an addition to the OOL,as well as optimization for the present relation model.
