文章详细论述了旋律一词的来源 ,旋律概念的界定、流传和历史 ,并论及旋律的特点、旋律调性、旋律与旋律线条、与节奏、与语言、与主题、动机和音型等方面的关系。
The article dissertated the origin of the word melody, definition of the conception melody, as well as its circulation, history. It also related to the features of melody, melodic tonality, and the relationship between the melody and the line, rhythm, language, theme, motive, pattern and so on. The contents were rarely seen in the Chinese documents or books.
