中国甘薯产量占世界甘薯产量的80%以上。甘薯高产稳产,抗逆性强,营养丰富又有保健功能,劳动力密集耗水少,是入世后中国农产品参与国际竞争的强势作物。河北省甘薯生产具有生态、加工、区位三大优势,为省政府确定的五大农业新兴产业之一。甘薯新品种选育和技术研究取得重要进展,为甘薯生产提供了技术支撑。要进一步推进甘薯产业化经营,实现种植区域化、品种专用化、生产标准化、加工规模化。扩大生产加工规模,实现精深加工精品上市,推行无公害生产和加工技术标准,形成区域化产业优势。
In China sweet potato, accounting for over 80 percent in world total output, has an advantage in partaking international competition for agricultural products after China entering WTO, because it has characters of high, stable yield, high tolerance to adversity, rich nutrient and health function, and low water consumption, etc. Sweet potato production in Hebei province has three advantages in ecology, processing and location. It is one of the five new africultural industries appointed by provincial government. The advancement achieved in new variety breeding and technique research will provide technical support for sweet potato production. In order to realize sweet potato industry, it is essential to popularize regional planting, special variety, standard production, and mass processing. Enlarging production and processing scale, developing highly refined production for market, popularizing standard non-public pollution production and processing techniques, will be conducive to the forming of regional dominance.
