摘要
介绍了车牌字符分割前的颜色处理过程.车牌字符分割是车牌识别系统的第二步,是在车牌定位之后进行的,因为定位出的牌照一般来说是彩色的,这些彩色信息对字符分割及最后的识别均没有帮助,所以首先将图像转换成灰度图,然后进行一定范围的灰度拉伸,最后进行二值化,为字符分割做好准备工作.
This article introduces the processing of license plate's color,the color should be gray,gray streching and threshold before the characters of vehicle license plate has been segment.The characters' segment is the second of the system about license plate's identify,it is behind the location.The plate that has been located is usually colorful,these colors have no help to the later processing,so before the segment has been done,we transfer the color plate to gray plate,stretch it in certain field,and threshold it.
