摘要
甜菜根腐病是甜菜生长期块根腐烂病的总称。自1887年由德国的Eidam记载了该病以后不久,在美国等其他国家的甜菜栽培区相继被发现,现已成为世界各国甜菜栽培区的重要病害,发生比较普遍。由于不同国家地区间土壤、气候、耕作栽培制度、种植历史、品种等生态环境的差异,其发生种类和为害程度亦各不相同。一个多世纪以来,科学家们关于该病发表了数以百计的论文,从各方面探索发病因素,寻求防治方法,有关试验研究已取得了重要进展。尽管如此,该病仍被认为是最难防治的甜菜病害。
