抗丛根病甜菜品种在我国的紧迫性和选育技术 被引量:11

摘要 丛根病,这种危害最严重的甜菜病害,在我国自七十年代末最先在内蒙古包头糖厂附近发现以来,十余年间已相继在华北、西北各省(区)发生和蔓延。据统计,1990年发病面积已达16万亩左右,年直接经济损失为3600万元以上,并仍在迅速扩展中。已查明采用轮作及其他常规防病措施的效果不大,而应用抗病品种已在一些国家取得实际成效。选育适合我国各主要产区种植的抗丛根病品种,已成为当前最紧迫的一项甜菜育种课题。对甜菜丛根病的抗性,同时存在质量性状遗传和数量性状遗传。抗病种质可以通过病土筛选、引进、分离、远缘杂交等方式获得。采用先进合理的抗性鉴定技术及育种程序,是加速抗丛根病品种选育的重要方面。 Rhizomania, one of the destructive diseases in sugarbect, was first discovered near Baotou Sugar Refinery of the Inner Mongolia in the end of 1970s. In recent decade it occurred and spread in succession in the irrigation areas of North and Northwest China in which sugarbeet was cultivated. According to the statistics the diseased area covered more then 10000 hectares in 1990, causing heavy economic losses. The disease still spresds quickly. It has been ascertained that the rotation and conventional methods have little control effect, but the practical success has been won through using the resistant sugarbeet varieties. So at the present time breeding the rhizomania-resistant sugarbeet varieties suited to the main sugarbeet planting areas of China is one of the most pressing subjects. The resistance to rhizomania in sugarbeet simultaneously appears qualitative inheritance and quantitative inheritance. The resistant germ plasm can be obtained from screening test in the rhizomania-infected soil, introducing and segregating the resistance materials, distant crossing and so on.The breeding process of rhizomania-resistant sugarbeek varieties can be sped up by adopting the advanced rational techniques for identifying the resistance and the system of breeding method.
