空间微重力环境下铅锑合金的研制

摘要 将称量好的小块高纯铅和锑以共晶配比(Pb-11.2wt%Sb)封装在石英试管中,在卫星自由飞行期间加热熔化并缓慢冷却进行了重熔和再结晶实验,同时也进行了地面对比模拟实验。结果表明,空间样品外形较为光滑,显微组织为均匀细密的共晶;而地面两样品,一个产生了两端分离的现象,另一样品中间存在“细颈区”,其显微组织,除上部表面有块状的富锑相外,其余部分都是典型的亚共晶组织。分析这些差别的原因,是由于在空间微重力环境下重力引起的自然对流大大降低的结果。 Small pieces of Plumbum-Stibum (Pb-11.2wt%Sb) were sealed in quartz tube,heated and then cooled slowly during the flight of the satellite in space.And the simulating experiment is also carried out on the ground.The microstrutual feature and morphology of space processed samp- les have been investigated in comparison with ground-based samples.It was found that the space sample with smooth surface has very homogeneous and fine microstructure,while the ground-based samples,one has split into two parts and the other one has“narrow neck”in the middle.The reason for these is that the convection induced by gravity has been reduced greatly under microgravity environment in sapce.
