摘要
傅斯年先生在 192 0年提出“史学即史料学”的观点。他主张研究历史要动手动脚找材料 ,历史学要进步须扩展史料范围 ,采用新工具 ,这无疑对史学的发展有很大促进作用。但他又认为对史料的处理只须“把材料整理好” ,“事实自然明了” ,“反对疏通” ,并说史学只是纯粹的学术 ,“没有一般的用处”。然而 ,通过研究我们发现史料只是认识客观历史的中介 。
In 1920, Mr.Fu Sinian thought history was historical materials, which means we must try our best to adopt devices invented newly to collect materials and expand the extent of historical materials if we want to make some progress in the field of history researches.Obviously, this has encouraged the development of history. But at the same time, he thought that studying history was simply to arrange the historical materials, and all were clear if we did so. He said history was purely academic and had no popular use. In fact, historical materials are only mediums through which we get to know the objective world and the practical function is the soul of history.
