摘要
本文针对基本分形图像压缩方法耗时过长的不足 ,提出一种快速分形图像压缩方法。首先给出分层搜索算法以减小待匹配父块的数量 ,然后引进误差阈值以减小待比较像素个数 ,从而达到提高图像压缩速度的目的。理论分析和试验结果表明 ,相对于经典分形压缩方法 (Jacqain) ,该方法在不影响信噪比和解码图像质量的前提下 ,大大提高了压缩速度。
One shortcomingof the standard fractal image compression methods is the excessive cost of time. In this paper, we propose a novel fast fractal image compression approach. Briefly, we employ hierarchical search method to reduce the number of father block, whichwill be matched, then reduce the pixelnumber by introducingan error threshold. Theoreticaland simulation analysisindicate that the proposed method can achievea faster compression speed thanclassical fractal image compressionapproach such as Jacqain with little influence of Signal-to-Noiseand decode image quality.
